Media literacy as a mean of development of high school student's critical evaluation of political advertisment

This thesis is focused on the impact of media literacy in terms of the ability of high school students to interpret political advertisement. In the part of this thesis the reader will be introduced into the concepts of modern democracy and mass media as its important part especially, within the context of politics, in the pre-election period. The reader will be provided an insight into the issue of the influence of mass media on citizens who are exposed to the products of political marketing. Due to the focus on high school students, this thesis mentions research domestic one as well as international that puts together terms as politics- media-teenagers. The second part of this thesis is designed as a research aimed at the impact of media literacy on the students' skills to analyze a political advertisement as well as their civic attitudes. The research is conducted as a qualitative comparison of statements of the analytical abilities of students who took part in media literacy course with those who did not. Bachelors of nursing - how are they percieved by nurses

The thesis is focused on the university education of nurses from the point of view of nurses with high school education. The theoretical part briefly describes the history of the nursing education in our country, it mentions the most significant changes concerning the education of nurses and outlines certain legislative changes that are being prepared. The theoretical part also presents a survey of the universities and faculties where it is possible to study nursing at the present time. The research for the empirical part of the thesis was carried out in a form of a questionnaire inquiry in a faculty hospital. The targeted group of respondents were high school educated nurses without further specialisation. The resulting group, whose responses are used for this thesis is made up of 107 nurses. The empirical part of the thesis is aimed at stating the opinions of high school educated nurses on university educated nurses and the need for university educated nurses at the patient's bedside. The thesis also attempts to find differences between high school educated and university educated nurses. The thesis also states the quality of relationship and cooperation between high school educated and university educated nurses. Employment of multimedia in chemistry education at high schools in the Czech Republic

Bachelor thesis deals with multimedia support for teaching chemistry in secondary schools. Clarify reader the possibility of using ICT, not only in chemistry education. These technologies have an important role in modern teaching and learning process. Part of this work is the creation and evaluation of the questionnaire survey, which gives a rough overview on the prevalence and use of multimedia and multimedia applications in Czech schools.
Economy of procrastination

The size and intensity of procrastination is influenced by various factors including local environment.The conditions set for elaborating homework, that were exactly the same for both high school and university students, brought up different results. These results were based on an experiment (N=111), which was replicated from a study (D. Ariely and K. Wertenbroch, 2002). The best results achieved were from high school students while put under pressure by submitting more homework on a specific date. This fact varied significantly from university students. Also there is a positive influence of age and maturing on the women's final grade. The precondition for divergent influence of different teacher's gender on men and women was not disproved.
