Lolita in Serge Gainsbourg's life and works
Sotonová, Jana ; Jamek, Václav (advisor) ; Voldřichová - Beránková, Eva (referee)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is the motif of 'lolita' (an adolescent girl as the object of erotic interest) in works of a french singer, songwriter, poet, actor, screenwriter and director Serge Gainsbourg. The majority of his works were written for women or about them. Enchanted by the character of Lolita from the Nabokov's book of the same name, he wants to find it's embodiment even though he considers the character to be abstract. His obsession with the idea of 'lolita' as an archetype is significantly influencing his works just as his emotional life. The first part presents Serge Gainsbourg. The second part treats the topic of 'lolita' in Nabokov's works. The main part aims at Gainsbourg's works in which the influence of the motif is the most apparent. Finally, the thesis compares the Nabokov's and the Gainsbourg's conceptions of 'lolita' and it resumes the differences between them. Key words : lolita, obsession, myth, eros

The Pathos of Wing and Arrow: the Variances of Eros in the History of European Literature.
Macl, Ondřej ; Činátlová, Blanka (advisor) ; Bílek, Petr (referee)
(anglicky) The aspiration of this thesis is on behalf of (more authentic) Eros problematic "to shake" literary science, not to say its method of interpretation, and so open another, more sensitive approach to art. As a tangle of starting points, I used the dubious theories of authors such as late R. Barthes, G. Didi-Huberman, H. Bloom, G. Bataille or S. Sontag. But especially, I delve into the studies of European literature in order to expose my own "wounds", no less violently classified into thematic chapters (Cosmogony, God of Love, Desire, Philosophy, Heart, Arrow, Wing, Game, Topos, Instinct, Orpheus and others). Therefore I introduce Eros as multifaceted phenomenon, in contrast to monological tendencies of dominant (platonic or Christian) erotic interpretations. Moreover - in polemics with Bataille's eroticism - I try to make Eros "the work".

In theological perspective focuses on how it is represented in the work of eros and agape and their relationship. On this basis, I try to show how the above prose refers to the mystery of transformation of man and definitive finding his personal identity in a community of unconditional love with another person and participate in the sharing of the eternal Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Through the theory of ignition in the text affected by three plane plot of the story. In each of them the protagonist encounters an amendment to another form of love, which is gradually determined. Build and during his life journey from Brno to Želary discovers first love erotic and later meetings with selfless love, agape gradually grows into the fullness of perfect love, which combines eros and agape. Socrate's "Érótiké techné" in Faidros
