Forms of Family and School Cooperation at the Beginning of School Attandance

This thesis focuses on forms of cooperation between family and school at the beginning of school attendance. The theoretical part defines family and school as educational institutions and traces the development of cooperation between these institutions. It shows current trends in cooperation between family and school using the elements of a strategy of innovative educational program Step by Step and project Parents welcome. It refers to the elements that affect mutual relations. At the beginning of the empirical part is first described the methodology of qualitative research. The main techniques used were observation, questioning and interviews with teaching staff and the parents of pupils at two schools - at the average primary school and at the school using the program Start together, which received a certificate Parents welcome. Partner reality was analyzed on the basis of a document Competent teacher of the 21st century: An international professional quality framework ISSA. The research identified the actual situation in each school, its benefits and weaknesses. Author's fairy tale with a musical theme as a means to improve cooperation and kindergarten is the main aim of the thesis. The musical development of the child until the end of the preschool age and its subsequent response opens the theoretical part, musical ability - characteristics, creativity, integration of musical abilities, integrative design, and creative dramatics conclude the theoretical part, which will be followed by a practical part. The practical part will consist of architectural scenario where a subsequent analysis of the Copyright scenarios, questionnaires, interviews and observations will serve as a result of the thesis.
Communication of teachers and parents during distance learning

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of communication with parents during distance learning. It views this issue from the perspective of teachers and families. It summarizes the specifics of this unusual situation and provides recommendations on how to better manage it. The theoretical part is based on literature and it explains the importance of communication between teachers and parents. The main actors are characterized in this part. It summarizes the rules of respect and also talks about cooperation between both sides. It brings tips on how to involve parents in the education of their children. It deals with distance learning and its obstacles from the perspective of teachers and parents. The practical part focuses on the experience of first-level teachers. The aim is to map the ways of communication and involvement of parents in distance learning. The open coding technique allows in-depth analysis of interviews with teachers. It provides recommendations for communication during distance learning. It describes the specific experience of teachers and the solutions of potential problems.
Class meeting at the primary school

The diploma thesis is focused on class meetings at the first level of primary school. It discusses how parents and teachers perceive these meetings, and what is needed to be prepared to organize the meeting. The theoretical part is based on literature and resources written about class meetings. Its aim was to map the current trends in the organization of class meetings with regard to effective cooperation between school and family. The empirical part presents the results of the questionnaire survey among teachers. Its aims to give inspiration and examples of good practice, to encourage particularly beginning teachers in organizing class meetings, to offer experience with this form of communication between school and family, and to gather ideas on how to manage class meetings. In the end, this diploma thesis brings and reflects a new experience with the class meeting held in electronic form.
Cooperation between family and school

The content of the diploma thesis is to characterize the features of a quality school and find out whether the cooperation between the school and the family is also included in this term. In the theoretical part I focus mainly on research on cooperation and on the interest of cooperation with the school by parents, public and media. An important part is the typology of parental expectations towards school, its work and the education of students. Then I summarize traditional and non-traditional forms of cooperation, which are applied on Czech schools. I also characterize teacher assistant role during the lessons, his cooperation with teacher and parents. The aim of the practical part is to monitor the cooperation between the family and the school from the point of view of the beginning teacher and the assistant teacher. From the assistant teacher, it is about the way how is looked at his role in the teaching process, how his work scope is defined, his expectations and mainly the way how he communicates with the parents. From a beginner teacher's point of view I focus on the way how to implement quality communication with the teacher assistant, to define his and my work scope and together with him get the effectively communication with the parents. Kargerová, J., Ph.D. The diploma thesis is focused on the cooperation of family and school at the beginning of schooling. The theoretical part describes the school and the family as the institutions that have an irreplaceable position in a life of child. It offers a view into the history and its forms of cooperation and aims which were reached in compare with today's understanding of the child and childhood. It deals with 1989 and its events which influenced the politic, economic and pedagogic situation - the child is in the middle of the family a school attention. The education is innovated, reformatted and new laws together with some new school programmes are issued. The theoretical background is finished by a description of Začít spolu program, its brief characteristic and concrete forms of cooperation with families. The empiric part surveys the situation in an ordinary school and the school worked according to the Začít spolu program. It compares their elementary and secondary levels and it offers some recommendations for better family-school cooperation.
Family and school cooperation

The diploma thesis deals with the mutual cooperation of the family and the special elementary school. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part I deal with family and school cooperation, defining the concept of family, its functions and duties. The second chapter of this part consists of education of pupils with mental retardation. Here I'm going to explain the term of mental retardation, the causes of its origin, the dividing and the characteristics of the special elementary school. The last chapter of the theoretical part presents the model of the school holding the "Parents welcome" certificate. In the practical part I deal with specific research of family cooperation and special elementary school in Čáslav. The research is conducted through questionnaires and interviews. Also, I compare the requirements for awarding the "Parents welcome" brand to the forms of collaboration of a particular school. I'll find out if the Special School in Čáslav meets these criteria. Communication and Cooperation of School with Parents concerning Home Preparation of Pupils

The topic of this diploma thesis is communication and cooperation of school and parents about home preparation of pupils. The theoretical part is divided into two parts. The first part deals with home preparation and homework. There are mentioned some suggestions how the homework should look like, how to set it in class and how to evaluate it. A very important section of the theoretical part is a chapter about positive and negative influences of homework. The second part is concerned with communication and cooperation of school and parents about home preparation. We map the possibilities of parent-teacher cooperation concerning home preparation of students. Moreover, we describe how to involve parents in home preparation and how to proceed. There are also recommendations for parents. In the empirical part of this thesis, we research attitudes of parents, teachers and pupils to home preparation. The main method was a questionnaire supplemented with semi-structured dialogues with some of the respondents (teachers and parents). The results of the research show that teachers have a positive attitude towards homework and that teachers think that homework is important. The attitude of parents and pupils is neutral. The majority of parents think teachers should set homework.
