Traffic characteristics of 2+1 arrangement
Kabeš, Luboš ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The thesis discusses the roads in lanes 2 + 1 arrangement in the country and abroad. It focuses primarily analogy of this type of arrangement in our situation, ie on stretches of roads I. classes with an increased number of lanes for slow vehicles to climb. Part of this work is to verify some of the traffic, including traffic flow characteristics compared to conventional two-lane roads, especially in terms of: sectional speed; overtaking; Accident and dependence longitudinal gradient. The work aims to evaluate the foreign experience and achievements of domestic communications options for application configuration 2 + 1 in the Czech Republic.
Variable Two-Way Loudspeaker Cabinet - Laboratory Tool
Rehák, Jan ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Balík, Miroslav (advisor)
The objective of this work is to build a two-way loudspeaker system that will enable changing loudspeaker topology in both vertical and horizontal axes and to suggest two laboratory tasks. The theoretical part of this work will briefly discuss loudspeaker crossovers. Then it will discuss how topology of loudspeakers in a loudspeaker system can affect its behavior at crossover frequency. Frequency characteristics of various loudspeaker baffles will be shown. On these, the effect of a baffle’s exterior on its behavior will be discussed. A two-way loudspeaker system will be designed. The construction process and drawings of each part are also included in this work. The finished product will be tested and, following from these tests, a conclusion will be drawn about the validity of the theoretical assumptions of its design. After that, appropriate parameters of a crossover for the two-way loudspeaker system will be chosen.
Testing of Aircraft Jet Engines
Trusík, Vojtěch ; Klement, Josef (referee) ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor final project is composed from two main parts. The first part is focused on describing of aviation agencies, function of jet engine, testing bed and desribing of testing of jet engines. The second part devote to application of CS-E prescription on the jet engine TJ-100 C.
Order Management in the Company
Matochová, Tamara ; Hyánek, František (referee) ; Šunka, Josef (advisor)
Bachelor paper "Order Management in the Company" deals with the way orders are processed at Modikov. The paper concentrates mainly on the procedure following the receiving of an order from a customer up until the moment the order is dispatched. The paper describes all the operations involved in this process. The goal of the paper is to determine how to improve this process, outline any flaws and suggest concrete ways of improvement.
Automation of track for measurement of water valves characteristics
Lekeš, Pavel ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
My diploma thesis describes upgrade of flowbench serving as test rig for regulation valves characteristic measurement. At the beggining, there is an introduction to the water regulation valves theory followed by current machine condition description. Next chapter defines needed improvements and at the end follows proposition of improvements and necessary component definition and final realization. Final chapter summarizes complete project.
Turbine drive for charger unit of bus
Obrlík, Jan ; Fiedler, Jan (referee) ; Škorpík, Jiří (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with use of combustion chamber to drive the electric bus charging unit. Based on the research and analysis of operation economy, a turboexpander with an air pressure tank is selected to drive the charging unit. A thermodynamic design is created for this variant. Based on this design a unit layout is proposed. Layout drawings are created for the proposed layout.
Reception of Czech games in local and foreign media
Dovole, David ; Švelch, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Švelch, Jan (referee)
Recently, both skilled individuals and large game studios can devote themselves to the development and creation of digital games. In the last decade, the gaming industry has established itself as the most profitable branch of the entertainment industry. Its annual turnover reached 180 billion USD, while the film industry generates annually 100 billion USD less. However, achieving success with your project on a global scale is not an easy challenge in this very competitive environment. Nevertheless, a relatively large number of projects have succeeded in the Czech Republic, regardless of how small a country we are. Five of them, each representing a different game genre, form the basis of the research corpus of this work, the purpose of which is to observe firstly whether the geographical origin of the game is a factor to which foreign game journalists attach a certain importance, and secondly to try to find common characteristics of the observed games, that led to their worldwide success, and to analyze whether it is possible to trace the influence of our shared socio-cultural environment in them. The analysis shows that although the Czech origin of the monitored games does not play a significant role for the authors of the collected texts, from the characteristics with which the games are described...
Equipment for analysis of fuel jet from fuel nozzle
Krahulík, Michal ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
Aim of this diploma thesis is a design and realization of the test rig for measuring characteristics of fuel jet from injector nozzle for vehicle internal combustion engines. The test rig was designed to test injectors for direct injection of petrol engines, especially for 1,5 TSI engine, which can be found in Volkswagen Group cars. The construction allows testing a big variety of injectors with only small adjustments of the test rig. Design was created in software Solidworks 2020. The thesis also deals with production process of individual components and with description of the used components for measuring and controling the test rig.
Measurement of vehicle suspension bushing characteristics
Kopecký, Petr ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the measurement of static characteristics of wheel suspension bushings. It includes a structural design of the test device and drawings according to which the device was manufactured. The device has several variations for different stresses and is applicable with possible modifications to various bushings including the ones that do not have common axes. The measurement procedure, the results of the measurements of the static characteristics and their analysis and comparison with the finite element method calculations are also given. The measured characteristics were then added to the model of the axle for multibody simulations.
Measuring tyre characteristics in the longitudinal direction on a Formula student car
Dvořák, Daniel ; Fojtášek, Jan (referee) ; Míša, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with longitudinal characteristics of tyres. Its goal is to create measuring algorithm and a whole process of measurement for these characteristics. The introductory part contains descriptions of key parameters. Following is the description of specific procedures leading to determination of these parameters. Thesis also includes description of sensors which are used for measurement of key parameters. The emphasis of the thesis is targeted towards keeping the costs low and making the whole process as repeatable and simple to prepare as possible. The proposed methodology in this thesis considers use of measured data in combination with data determined by performing analysis in Adams View. This analysis is necessary for determination of values of our coefficients, which deal with anti-feature parameters of the suspension. The final data processing and evaluation of the results is performed in MATLAB software.
