Leisure time physical activities for auditory hancicapped pupils in Prague

The bachelor thesis focuses on the identification of the attitudes of second grade pupils of primary schools for the hearing impaired in Prague towards extracurricular sports activities. The theoretical part is an introduction to the issue of sports with hearing impairment. It describes a person with hearing impairment in terms of his specific life situation and focuses on his communication, personality and compensatory aids. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the issues of older school age, education of pupils in schools for the hearing impaired in Prague and sports activities of people with hearing impairment. The theoretical part focuses on sports with hearing impairment from the historical and current point of view and also offers an insight into professional sports. In the practical part, the attitudes of pupils towards extracurricular sports are investigated using an attitude scale. Furthermore, the practical part identifies the circumstances leading to the choice of sport and the influence of communication barriers on the extracurricular sports activities of these pupils. Leisure Activities of Secondary School Students

This bachelor thesis on the topic "Leisure activities of secondary school students" deals with the pupils of the Secondary Medical school in Most and how they spend their free time. This bachelor's thesis preserves information regarding activities carried out in leisure time and in general leisure time of these students. In this bachelor's thesis, the task will be to define terms such as leisure time, leisure time activities in more detail. An integral part of the theoretical part will also be devoted to a more detailed description of education in leisure time, mainly the functions of education and also the content of education. A partial part of the theoretical part of the thesis will describe the risky behavior of individuals, especially its types, and the steps to prevent it. Attention is also paid to social networks, on which pupils spend a lot of their leisure time. In the practical part of this bachelor thesis, the data from the conducted investigation will be processed. Subjective assessment of the quality of life of seniors in a retirement home

The bachelor thesis deals with the subjective evaluation of the quality of life of seniors in a retirement home. This thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part focuses on the knowledge about old age and aging, where old age and aging itself, the needs of the elderly or changes in old age are defined. Furthermore, residential facilities for the elderly and the services provided therein are characterised. Quality of life and methods for measuring it are then defined. A qualitative research strategy is chosen for the practical part. The research was conducted using semi-structured interviews. These interviews comprised 18 questions and were conducted in a home for the elderly with 10 communication partners. Subsequently, the interviews were processed through verbatim transcription using pencil and paper techniques. They were then coded and 8 categories were created. The main aim of this study is to find out the subjective assessment of the quality of life of the elderly living in a retirement home. Furthermore, three sub-objectives were also set. The first one is to find out the satisfaction and inner feelings of the clients living in a retirement. The second sub-objective is to find out the satisfaction with the leisure activities provided in the retirement home. And the last sub-objective is to find out the satisfaction with the relationships in the retirement home. The results show that seniors are satisfied with their stay in the home for the elderly and appreciate the services and care they receive, mainly because they could not do without it. The results of my research can serve mainly as feedback for the retirement home in which the research was conducted. The retirement homes can also use this research as inspiration to improve certain services. This thesis can also serve to raise awareness about living in a retirement home.

Center of leisure activities

This diploma thesis presents a project documentation for construction of a center of leisure activities. It's construction site located on the outskirts of town Třebíč, "Na Kopcích" street. The building is composed from the two visual and three service parts which are connected to each other. On the left side in first floor there is a bowling with services and the second floor will serve for sport activities of jumping, spinning or relax massages. On the right side of building will be usable for education or for leisure activities. The building is designed as a two floors with partial basement. The construction system is formed by longitudinal wall system with precast hollow core slab or reinforced concrete slab. The structure is based on strip foundations with walls of permanent formwork. External wall is based on clay brick of therm type. The staircase is designed as prefabricated element or cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The roof is constructed as warm flat green roof with expanded polystyrene with screed to fall.

Leisure centre Vyškov

Leisure center The main task of the master thesis is to design a new leisure center in Vyškov. The building is divided into the two parts. The main part has two floors with reception, entrance hall, classrooms, offices, a utility and boiler room, a dance or theatre hall, a changing room, and a toilet. The second part includes sports hall. The load-bearing walls are designed from Porotherm ceramic blocks with external thermal insulation composite system. Floor structure are designed from reinforced concrete. The main building has a flat roof, the sports has a saw roof structure. Envelope walls are insulated with ETICS. The building will be heated by a condensing boiler. It will have mechanical ventilation, integrated photovoltaic panels on the roof of sports hall to reduce electricity consumption and LED lighting. The theoretical part is to design an operating rule of the building. The operating rules are part of the facility management, which takes care of ensuring ideal conditions for the development of the main activities of the leisure center.

Favorite Brno / cycling / track stadium bikrosová architectural study design

The aim of the diploma thesis is the architectural design of the stadium for track cycling. It deals with a covered hall, which is located in the area of Komárov on the territory of the sports resort Hněvkovského. The urban design ofthe territory is elaborated simultaneously with the study of the hall. The resort offers a wide range of sport fields for recreational as well as top athletes, and the new velodrome hall should dominate the entire area. The buildingprovides background for the important cycling club TJ Favorit Brno. It also responds to the current requirements of track cycling and thus enables the organization of international races.

Favorit Brno / cycling stadium - bicross track / architectural study - design / stage 2021/22

The assignment of the diploma thesis is an architectural study of a cycling stadium - velodrome in the Pisárky district in Brno for TJ Favorit Brno. The existing velodrome is located southwest on the edge of the Brno Exhibition Center on Křížovského Street. The Velodrome no longer meets the current requirements of track cycling, but it is historically valuable and has its genius loci. The new 250 m long wooden bike track (together with other parameters of the International Cycling Union) and its associated sports grounds are "inserted" into the existing velodrome, which is modified and reconstructed according to requirements. The grandstands have been preserved. The built-in building with a new track is then completely roofed, creating an enclosed space. As part of the stadium reconstruction, a new facility was also created for TJ Favorit Brno from a modular container system; These are changing rooms for athletes, administrative areas, and facilities for visiting clubs and athletes and IP areas. The container construction system for sports facilities is very practical, economical, fast, environmentally friendly, variable, and flexible to the current requirements of a constantly evolving sport. The Anteroom and ground floor in the southern part of the existing velodrome is equipped with services for the public: a cafe, souvenir shop, cash register, information center, service, and a bicycle and sports equipment store. The new track with grandstands is covered with ETFE foil anchored to new lattice trusses, which are connected to the existing roof.
