Source authenticity and handling of photos in the printed newspapers MF Dnes and Lidové noviny

This Bachelor's thesis examines the topic of the change of photojournalism in the area of working with sources of photographs on title pages of printed journals in relation to the current standing of media both worldwide and in the Czech Republic. Its theoretical half introduces key concepts such as gatekeeping, agenda-setting, or reporter values, which affect the selection of media content during editorial routines. It then focuses on the field of photojournalism and the phenomena that change established standards due to the rise of the internet and digitisation. It specifies how the rise of participative journalism and multiskilling can change the work of photojournalists and in the end even the process of selecting a titular photograph. Afterwards, it describes the subject of study, which are the printed journals Mladá fronta and Lidové noviny. The practical half of the thesis then uses two methods to achieve valid findings. Quantitative content analysis is used to look at a research sample of photographs from title pages of the journal in three periods - years 2000, 2010, and 2019. Digitalization oriented in-store communication of perfume stores: Case study Notino

The main objective of this bachelor thesis is in-store marketing communication of perfumeries with the focus on a digitalization of stores, while it is a case study of the Notino company. The aim of the work was to find out visitors awareness of a given digitalization and how they perceive them from a user's point of view. At the same time, the usefulness of the technologies in the concept of the entire store is examined as well as how they support its operation. The thesis first theoretically defines the concept of "in-store marketing communication" and its main functions. Then there are presented modern trends and technologies related to marketing activities at the point of sale, along with cosmetics industry and its current trends. The next part of the work focuses on introduction of Notino and its stores. The research is carried out using a qualitative research method, more precisely individual interviews. The data, which were obtained from interviews with visitors as well as store employees are subsequently analyzed and interpreted. With the help of the data, the given branch is then presented in more detail together with the selected digitalizations.
Research on digital appointment scheduling in the hairdresser market

Currently, digitalization permeates every aspect of our lives, and hairdressing is no exception. This bachelor thesis, first of its kind, focuses on the digitalization of the customer booking process in hairdressing salons in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the current state of digitalization in this sector, identify the main benefits and challenges associated with the implementation of digital booking systems, and suggest possible improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. The work combines quantitative and qualitative research methods, including descriptive statistics and in-depth interviews with key market participants. The results show that although the digitalization of booking is still in its early stages, it has the potential to significantly improve work organization, reduce the time required for reservations, and increase customer satisfaction. This thesis contributes to a better understanding of the benefits and barriers of digitalization in hairdressing and offers resources for business applications. Application of Mathematical and Statistical Methods in Company Management

This thesis deals with the analysis and proposal of improvements to existing processes in a selected company using mathematical and statistical methods. This is achieved on the basis of digitalization and automation of invoice processing processes in the selected company in order to increase competitiveness in a dynamic business environment. Due to the high costs and risks associated with traditional manual invoice processing, the enterprise decided to switch to a modern digital solution. The thesis is divided into two parts, the first of which outlines the theoretical foundations that are the key treasure trove for the subsequent detailed analysis of the current state of invoice processing. Next, key issues are identified and an effective solution is proposed using Microsoft's SharePoint, Power Apps and Power BI technologies. The implementation of the proposed solution brings significant benefits to the business, including reduced operational costs, increased accuracy of invoice data, and freeing up human resources for other tasks.
Utilization of Digital Twins in Automotive

This bachelor thesis deals with the utilization of digital twins in automotive industry. In the introduction, the concept of a digital twin is defined and then Industry 4.0 technologies used by digital twins are described. Furthermore, several examples of their application in the automotive industry are given. In the practical part, a simulation of a braking maneuver in virtual environment is performed and the functionality of this model is verified by real driving tests. As a result of the practical part, the graphs from the simulation and the real driving are compared.
Information System for Production and Material Management

The aim of this work is to digitalise key aspects of the production and personnel processes in an engineering company and at the same time to optimise the use of the existing HELIOS iNuvio information system. The software developed, based on PHP web technologies using the Symfony, React and REST frameworks, includes modules that not only replace the terminal application for production control and materials management, but also enable the digitalisation and simplification of other company processes, including the signing of important documents and machine management. The solution's analytics module provides management with detailed information on employee performance, production process efficiency and financial aspects of production using the Grafana visualisation tool. The attendance module replaces manual attendance management. This complex solution increases overall efficiency of business processes and improves the user experience without requiring additional investment in hardware or systems.
