Specifics of managing people in multi-location schools

1 ABSTRACT The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of delegation and internal communication in multi- site schools. It reflects current developments and upcoming changes in regional education system that result from strategic documents of the Czech Republic. Among other things, these changes include also management of schools that is pledged to receive systemic support. In this context, the merging of small schools into larger units is being considered, primarily for reasons of greater financial efficiency. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis explains the raison d'etre of multi-sites schools and presents the context of current developments. It also tackles explanation of key concepts of delegation and communication. In case of delegation, it describes its conditions and course. It describes the conditions and process of delegation, defines the concept of internal communication and describes its most common forms. The practical part analyses practices of selected school principals and describes their method of delegation and communication in a particular school. Qualitative research methods were used for data gathering, including specifically semi-structured interviews with four school principals. In my thesis I prepare design of organizational change of Catholic University Student's Movement Brno, o.s., non-profit organization. It describes the objectives and activities of the association and it defines key positions, characteristics of workload of teams, collaborates and volunteers. My thesis describes competences and responsibilities of individual team members. It describes also management of the whole organization including team meeting's organization.
Participativní leadership ve vybraném sektoru

The bachelor thesis deals with participative leadership and its implementation in the selected sector. The first part of thesis consists of the literature and focus mainly on the definition of participative leadership, its practices, meanings, but also risks. Based on the established theory, an analytical part of the thesis is created, with is indicated by a description of the selected secondary sector, which deals with manufacturing and industry. Subsequently, a sample of data obtained through a questionnaire survey is described and analyzed. Based on the obtained data, recommendations are made that contribute to the improvement of the implementation of participative leadership procedures in companies in the selected sector.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out whether there is a dependence between personality typology and work with time management. For this purpose, quantitative and qualitative research is used. Research questions and hypotheses are established in the work, based on data from a questionnaire survey, according to which addiction is confirmed or refuted. Based on the results, time management methods are proposed for individual MBTI personality typologies.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis, titled "Time management of Students at Faculty of Economics University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice", is to analyse Time management and to propose optimal use of their time. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on four generations of time management, planning time, advantages and disadvantages of using planning tools, methods and techniques, rules of arrangement in office, on the table and tools belong to office, using email effectively and procrastinations. The practical part of the thesis uses quantitative research, based on the data obtained from questionnaires with students. Every question and answer is evaluated in a graphic way and summarized.
