Perception of strategies for working with general-reference map among students of various ages
Poldová, Viktorie ; Trokšiar, David (advisor) ; Machová, Daniela (referee)
The main topic of this thesis are strategies used while working with a map and their perception by students of different ages. A general-reference map, which students often interact with in geography lessons, was chosen for the research. 92 students in grades 6 and 9 and in the final year of secondary school participated in an experiment involving an achievement test and a follow-up questionnaire to explore perceived strategies. The eye-tracking camera used during the test allowed to obtain real strategies. The perceived strategies were qualitatively and quantitatively processed and explored in terms of four dimensions, i.e. repertoire, distribution, adaptability and efficiency. The results showed a wide repertoire of perceived strategies and the most frequently reported types of strategies. The largest repertoire was found among final year secondary school students, while the smallest repertoire was found among 6th grade students. Based on the distribution of strategy types in the tasks and the use of the necessary elements in the mentioned strategy, final year secondary school students showed the highest ability to adapt their perceived strategies, while 6th grade students showed the lowest. The ideal fastest and most accurate strategies were determined for the efficiency evaluation. Despite the...

Pupils' Perception of Natural History Teaching at the Second Level of Primary School and at the High School Bc. Ivana Pořická ABSTRACT The task of the thesis is to explore the attitudes and the opinions of students from the 2nd stage of selected primary schools and corresponding grades of a multi-year grammar school regarding the teaching of natural sciences, respectively biology. An integral part of the research work involves assessing and evaluating students' mental disposition before the lesson, preparedness, satisfaction with the environment, teaching itself including the methods used, and the usability and importance of biological education in general. Students were also given the opportunity to express their views on the relevant textbooks used in teaching. Furthermore, the thesis aimed to compare and analyze differences in the attitudes of students from primary schools and multi-year grammar schools in the corresponding grades. Another analysis focused on differences in responses in terms of gender. Whether there are any significant differences in the attitudes of girls and boys, and if so, to attempt to evaluate the reasons for these differences. The research also reveals some specific differences in attitudes between the two groups of students, suggesting that educational programs and the school...
Perception of oncoming vehicle speed
Pršeš, Faruk ; Rak, Martin (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
The presented master thesis deals with perception of oncoming vehicle speed. The theoretical part defines basic terminology, types, and categories of motor vehicles. Furthermore, it establishes what effects sensory perception has on estimation of vehicle speed. The practical part focuses on the examination of the measured estimations of moving vehicle where the respondents are seated and the estimations of oncoming vehicle speed according to age, gender, driver’s experience, and type of vehicle. The design, preparation and realization of the experimental measurement is in this part of the thesis. Afterwards, it is followed by an evaluation of the measured data, which gives us a better idea of how precise the witness estimations are at the traffic accident.

It focuses on current applications of AI tools, identifies areas of application, and identifies possibilities for future developments. The thesis includes a research probe that examines seniors' interaction with the artificial intelligence communication tool Bing Copilot and explores how seniors perceive these tools and how they feel when using them. It highlights the importance of ethical considerations when using these tools and adapting their design to the needs and preferences of seniors. The paper also raises the question of developing new theories about human interaction with AI.

The topic of my work is space and its influence on our perception. I am interested in how this perception changes during time. I create small interventions that can remain overlooked as through they are on visible sites. The choice of particular interventions is based on my subjective experience with the location - which in this work is the building of our school. With my interventions, I intend to intensify the spectators consciousness of space and time - „here and now“ - and the complex perception the environment. Using photographic record, reflections on variuos surfaces, and point of view, I work with time and space. The main question for me was whether is there a way to „catch“ a moment and project it back into his site.
Perception of vehicle speed
Hlavinková, Petra ; Dadák, Leo (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
The presented master thesis deals with the perception of the speed vehicle crew (not the drivers) in traffic in terms of different aspects, that influencing the feeling while driving in the vehicle. This is primarily about the approximation of factors that may have an impact on the speed. The aim of the thesis is to propose an appropriate methodology of measurement and subsequent evaluation of acquired date, which leads to an improvement in the idea of whether witnesses of traffic accidents are indicative of the speed of the vehicles, at reasonable real speed.
