Validation of exercise that aims to increase physical fitness in high school students using beach volleyball exercises
Koubková, Michaela ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Peřinová, Radka (referee)
Title: Validation of exercise that aims to increase physical fitness in high school students using beach volleyball exercises Aims: The main aim of this thesis is to verify through an experimental investigation whether deliberately selected beach volleyball exercises will lead to a change in the level of physical fitness in the experimental group and then to compare the measured data with a control group. Methods. In order to increase the level of physical fitness, exercises with beach volleyball content were chosen. The experiment consisted of an eight-minute intervention that was conducted over a 4-week period in high school physical education classes. It is a kind of working experiment in terms of methods. In order to verify and compare the effectiveness of exercise through beach volleyball training, it was necessary to create motor tests to determine any changes in physical fitness. These tests are as follows: 1. vertical jump achieved, 2. rapid changes of direction, 3. sprint for 20 m. Two schools were selected that implemented the same intervention, which differed in time. RESULTS: The results of the study indicate that the experiment itself suggests progression in some areas of physical fitness. In the 20m sprint, the hypothesis was confirmed in the case of experimental set 2, where there...
Proposal of interactive computer exercises for the programming education
Chaloupka, Tomáš ; Mekyska, Jiří (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design interactive excercises based on feedback from students who have passed through programming course Počítače a programování 2 in Java language. The main part of this work is comprised of design of selected exercises and their applications development. Graphical user interface is designed in JavaFx framework.
Preparation of Homeworks in the Course Algorithms
Vrábelová, Pavla ; Techet, Jiří (referee) ; Lukáš, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with a new set of exercises for a subject Algorithms. There are explained terms such as algorithm and complexity, described general properties and types of algorithms. Further, particular sort and search algorithms covered in the set of exercises are described in more details. There is explained how these algorithms work, described their complexity, category, field of use, advantages and disadvantages. Next part presents principles of a system for automated generation and rating of exercises. The implementation of particular parts of system is described in the last chapter of this paper.
Simulation of high-speed optical data transmissions
Chaloupka, Tomáš ; Münster, Petr (referee) ; Horváth, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is comparation of simulation tools OptSim™ and PHO- TOSS which are used to create simulations of data traffi cs in access and metropolitan networks. The outcome of this thesis is three laboratory exercises and their theoretical bases which should explain the way of working in diff erent simulation environments to students.

Strejciusová, Aneta ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Maršáková, Kateřina (referee)
Author: Bc. Aneta Strejciusová Supervisor: PhDr. Tereza Nováková, Ph.D. Title: Musculoskeletal disorders related to the soldier's occupation Objectives: The main goal of this work was to find out how the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders is related to the performance of the profession among soldiers of the 13th Artillery Regiment of the Army of the Czech Republic. Another goal was to investigate which risk factors, according to the respondents, most often occur in the origin of their difficulties and to clarify the preventive strategies that the respondents most often use in practice. Methods: The research was conducted using a questionnaire survey. A questionnaire based on the standardized Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ) was used to obtain data. The research group consisted of 196 respondents, both male and female soldiers of the 13th Artillery Regiment of the Army of the Czech Republic, who answered questions related mainly to work-related musculoskeletal disorders. Subsequently, the data was analyzed and conclusions drawn. Results: 35,7 % of respondents had at least one experience with work-related musculoskeletal disorder. The most frequently reported problems during the last 12 months were in the area of the lower back, where they occurred in 24,5 % of all respondents. This...
Physiotherapy in patients with multiple myeloma undergoing autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
Holasová, Adéla ; Novotný, Ondřej (advisor) ; Ortová, Marta (referee)
The bachelor's thesis is devoted to the issue of physiotherapy intervention in patients with multiple myeloma hospitalized in the transplant unit, who are currently in a state shortly after high-dose chemotherapy followed by autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The theoretical part includes the basic classification of haematoma-oncological malignancies, a description of the multiple myeloma disease, its incidence and prevalence, symptoms of the disease, diagnosis, treatment options, the effect of long-term hospitalization on the body, symptoms of the disease relevant for the initiation of physiotherapy intervention. The conclusion of the theoretical part deals with the current issue of physiotherapy in patients with multiple myeloma. The practical part consists of three case reports of patients with multiple myeloma who were hospitalized in the transplant unit shortly after undergoing high-dose chemotherapy followed by autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Their case reports include an initial examination, a description of therapies and an exit examination of individual patients. The practical part also introduces a set of exercises, which should serve as inspiration for patients for suitable exercises that they can perform themselves during the day, but only after...
