IZIP - electronic health book: Czech eHealth project in the context of other similar projects in EU

Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je vymezení pojmu eHealth a představení českého projektu IZIP jako příkladu speciálního informačního systému v rámci informatizace Evropské Unie. Analýza projektu IZIP je provedena z pohledu pacienta, lékaře a vývoje informační politiky ČR. V práci jsou uvedeny strategie a projekty eHealth vybraných zemí Evropské unie, které byly oceněny spolu s projektem IZIP v roce 2005 cenou eEurope Award for eHealth. Jsou představeny projekty Německa (AOK Rheinland - GesundheitsCard, GCE), Švédska (síť Sjunet), Francie (Institut Curie Paříž, Elios and Prométhee), Belgie (Vaccinet, Kind and Gezin), Dánska (MedCom, Danish Health Data Network, DHDN), Velké Británie (NHS Direct) a Rumunska (REMSSy).

Digital libraries of electronic theses and dissertations in the Czech Republic and abroad

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku zpřístupňování vysokoškolských kvalifikačních prací ve třech vybraných státech a to na Slovensku, ve Velké Británii a v České republice. V první kapitole jsou uvedeny důvody budování digitálních knihoven vysokoškolských kvalifikačních prací obecně. Druhá kapitola se zabývá národními projekty Slovenské republiky a to konkrétně systémem ETD.SK a novým projektem Centrálny register záverečných prác. Třetí kapitola popisuje britský celonárodní projekt EThOS. Čtvrtá kapitola ukazuje na příkladu Univerzity Karlovy v Praze problematiku budování lokálního repozitáře a dále se zaměřuje na projekt Masarykovy univerzity Theses.cz.
Current micropyment's situation

The topic of this bachelor's final project are micropayment systems focused on running information services. The work describes the Czech and foreign micropayment systems and compares them with other methods of payment for information services. Bachelor's final project is divided into five main chapters. Introductory chapter deals with the issue of putting into micropayment and defining terms. The second chapter summarizes the history of Czech micropayment systems until 2003. The third chapter is devoted to selected foreign micropayment systems and their applications. The fourth chapter deals with the micropayment systems, primarily the Czech coverage, which were active at the time of processing this project. Part of the chapter is also comparison with other methods of payment for information services. The largest part of the work is the fifth chapter mapping ways of paying for information services in the selected databases, encyclopedias, media, libraries, etc. The final chapter summarizes the issues of micropayment and outlines its further possible development.
Remote control tools and theirs usage

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to discuss the available methods for remote administration. It also provides experiences with remote administration tools and theirs impact on information society. Thesis is divided into six main chapters, which are divided according to areas of useability of remote administration tools. The first chapter is entry into the remote administration. The second chapter summarizes this issue in Microsoft Windows operating systems. The third chapter is about the remote administration in UNIX operating systems. The fourth chapter presents additional remote administration technologies. The fifth chapter is about webtools that are based on the remote administration. Some practical comparison is also as part of this chapter. The final chapter summarizes the issues of remote administration in modern communication devices.
Library 2.0 and application of its features in library systems

The topic of this bachelor thesis are software tools, enabling enriching of library systems in terms of library 2.0. The work deals with web 2.0 and library 2.0 concepts and describes tools enabling implementation of theirs' features into catalogues of both czech and foreign libraries. The bachelor thesis is divided into four main chapters. Introductory chapter serves as an introduction into problematics of Library 2.0 and definition of used terms. The second chapter is devoted to concepts of web 2.0 and library 2.0 and gives examples of usage in library environment. The third chapter deals with new requirements on library catalogues and implementation of web 2.0 and library 2.0 features in library systems. The main part of the work is the fourth chapter that describes software tools enabling introducing library 2.0 features into library catalogues. The final chapter summarizes possibilities of use of library 2.0 features in library catalogues and compares the chosen tools, that enable implementation of library 2.0 features.

Economic aspects of system integration Abstract This thesis sets out to inform its readers about the importance of economic and legal background of system integration as well as the mutual interaction of legal and economic framework of system integration. The system integration is a comprehensive way to ensure the strategic support of key business processes in order to increase the competitiveness of the organization. It happens through the unification of computer resources to meet the needs of all relevant processes in the organization. Improvement of these processes leads to the creation of value added from the integrated systems that makes from organization an economically efficient unit. First, the work deals with the general characteristics of system integration. To approach the issue of practice are mentioned the most important projects carried out system integration in the Czech Republic in the field of public administration. Based on this description of system integration are described specific benefits of integration. Furthermore, the work deals with analyzing the impact of the legal framework of system integration on its economic aspects.
