Conditions of entry to the headship in selected European countries

The diploma thesis deals with the conditions of the principal office entrance and the training required in selected European countries. In the theoretical part the thesis deals with the current situation of principals, the possible professional support and preparation needed before the post entrance. It also follows up the role of principals, their competencies and the process of acquisition and selection of principals. The selection of first-rate principals and their training can influence the effectiveness of the school and the quality of education provided. Due to this, the entrance conditions and their preparation were inquired. The process of acquisition, selection and preparation of principals was described and compared in the case of selected European countries from 1994 to 2012. The results provided show the changing role of school principals, the growing workload requirements principals have to deal with, the growing meaning of preparation and education of future principals and the necessity to attract talented leaders. Even though the entrance conditions are different in distinct European countries, some issues they deal with are similar. Support of the beginning directors of kindergartens from 1990 to present

This diploma thesis provides information on the subject of supporting beginning kindergarten headmasters. It deals with the changes of this support from 1990 until the present. The objective of this diploma thesis is to find out the opinions of the headmasters of pre-primary education schools in Prague concerning the support provided by the state, school authority, middle management, the previous headmaster, other colleagues and educational institutions upon taking up their the post. The theoretical part introduces the basic terms connected with the headmaster's managerial functions and competences as well as with the historical development of the kindergarten headmaster's function in relation to the support received upon taking up their post. It points out the necessity of external support of headmasters during their career, especially in its beginning. The empirical part of the thesis is based on studying specialised literature and on survey results. It assesses the headmasters' experience at the beginning of their careers as headmasters. It evaluates the quality of assistance provided and points out the missing links of subvention. Audit of the education system of the Czech Republic and its critical analysis

The dissertation deals with the critical analysis of the audit of the education system of the Czech Republic, issued in 2014 by EDUin non-profit organization. The theoretical part de- scribes basic characteristics of the education system in the context of the level of the Czech education phenomenon. The aim of the dissertation is to analyse the bases and sources which were used to elaborate the audit of the education system and to make comparison with stra- tegic and other relevant documents. The aim will be achieved on the basis of the results of research, the relevance of the audit, presented by EDUin organization, will be confirmed or disproved. The interview with the authors of the audit and the analysis of documents are research methods and techniques. The interview with authors of the audit brings the answers to the questions of the research survey: "What is the audit of the education system and why did EDUin organization issue the audit?"The authors feature motivational impulses, which encouraged them to issue the audit, and clarify the main aims of the audit. Current problems of school meals in the Czech republic and the vision of its future development

This dissertation deals with a current troubles in the sphere of a school eating in a whole czech republic. Using a questinare survey were charted troubles of the school eating and defined the most important ones that can become a risk for this world unique specialization. A vast describe of a situation in the sphere of school eating in czech republic revealed many problems that workers are dealing with. They are finding optimal solutions as well. The questionaire survey revealed which problems can be solved in practice and those who can not be solved itself. Those wo can not be solved needs chane of sysem controlled by state authorities. A a biggest problem that questinare survey and additional ivestgation prooved high age of workers in school eatin and absence of young workers who would gain experiences and replace the outgoing workers. Results of the research showed the cause of the problem is inadequate finacial evaluation and low social prestige of this profesion. In this area of work is missing a positive motivation for gaining new workers. This is the reason why this area of work is dealin with a lack of quallified workers that are needed to ensure a service in the scool eating system service.

Title of the Master's Thesis: The management structure of universities Abstract: Master's Thesis "The management structure of universities' mapping key organizational elements in universities in Czech Republic, both in terms of internal point of view and from outside view from different institutions that are linked to universities, control them or are otherwise tied to their existence. These organizational elements are also compared to the practice of business management and key moments are shown, where the practice of business organizations differs from universities. As part of familiarizing with the organizational structure the analysis of the number of managerial staff was performed both in absolute numbers and relative to the number of students at selected universities. Finally, interviews were conducted with senior managers of these universities to compare their experiences of college life. The diploma work is called: "Analysis of preparation for the post of Principal in Selected Country of OECD. It is aimed at preparing the Principal in their profession before taking the office. It describes the different educational systems focused on the training of directors in selected OECD countries - the Czech Republic, USA, Canada, Chile. The aim is to compare the preparation for the profession Principal before taking office in each country, focusing on practice, education, legal grounding.. The theoretical part deals with the historical perspective of the OECD in terms of education, access to education in different historical periods since the inception of the organization. It also deals with the initial preparation of Principals prior to becoming director in terms of personality and school manager. The practical part describes the situation of education with a focus on Principal in selected countries. the conclusion are set out common elements of education directors.
Proceedings of the adaptation process of preschool children on entry into primary education, possible problems and their prevention

The aim of my thesis was to compare the attitudes of school management to ensure smooth transfer of children from pre-school to primary education, and to compare these approaches in urban and rural schools. The work consists of theoretical and research. Both these parts are designed to provide answers to questions about managing process of adaptation to different types of schools. The theoretical part is devoted to the general management. It deals with the concepts of management, managerial functions, adaptation, communication, etc. Specifies the position of the school as an organization. Describes the issue of school readiness of children coming into primary education. The research part is looking for answers to research questions related to the issue management process of adaptation. The final section is devoted to evaluation of the data and suggests ways to address the prevention of adaptation problems arising from the management process of adaptation of pupils in first class. Career system of teachers in the Slovak Republic

The aim of this thesis is to assess the contribution of the career system of Slovak teachers from the perspective of school principals. The theoretical part deals with the definition of the career system based on a literature research. Firstly, preconditions of the career system are defined. Secondly, the career system is described in detail, followed by its evaluation and comparison with the upcoming Czech career system. The practical part describes the used qualitative methods and approaches and includes findings from the field research. A multiple conn-Dove study was used to solve the research problem, in which the case is represented by ten principals from various schools. Semi-structured interviews with school principals, observing their interactions and document analysis were used for data collection. The result of the research was to create ten idiographic reports reflecting school principals' practical experience with the career system. Findings show significant dissatisfaction among school principals with the conception and implementation of the career system due to the administrative complexity of the system, its formalism, the lack of resources in the system and the lack of provided methodological support to school principals. Establishing, maintaining and developing the quality management system CSN EN ISO 9001:2009 in education

The presented work deals with the quality of education and elaborates upon the implementation of system of quality management ISO 9001 as one of the ways of possible improvement of a process and outcomes of education. Introduction included in the theoretical part is focused on explanation of the concepts of education quality, quality management, quality of a school, quality standards, quality control and quality management models. The subsequent part of the work contains implementation of a quality management system. The following chapter deals with process management as a means of maintaining quality management system. The final chapter of the theoretical part describes cloud computing as the latest and most progressive path of development of quality management. The object of the research is to develop a model of implementation of the quality management system. Actual implementation model build on a previous qualitative research conducted in several schools, performed in a form of a case study. In the appendix part, a number of actual documents are attached in order to better convey the implementation process.
