Psychohygiene in School and Application of Relaxation Techniques into the Teaching Process at Elementary School

This bachelor work is dealing with the question of psychohygiene in school and application of relaxation techniques into the teaching process at elementary schools. Mental hygiene here is primarily focused on the pupils. This work defines several basic terms regarding to the topic, for example: psychohygiene, mental health, relaxation techniques etc. Primary intention of this work is refer to the necessity to pursue greater attention to the psychohygiene of the pupils since elementary school, due to keeping their mental health in balance, learning how to relax, preventing mental problems, fatigue or exhaustion. Possible symptoms of mental unease of pupils and reasons why it is necessary to care about their mental health are stated in this work. Finally this work offers some relaxation techniques and practices. Part of this work is also suggestion of several relaxation techniques, which would be usable and suitable at school for integration into the educational process. Experience Reflective Activity in the Primary Prevention of Socially pathological Phenomena

The aim of presented bachelor thesis named "Experiential-reflective activities in primary prevention of socially pathological phenomena" is to theoretically set the experiential-reflective activities in relation to the prevention of socially pathological phenomena and to introduce the experiential-reflective method of Forum Theatre. This thesis is focused mainly theoreticaly. First part introduces the socially pathological phenomena, the cause of socially pathological behavior and demarcation and classification of socially pathological phenomena. Second part is focused on primary prevention and its realisation. Third part describes the experiential-reflective activities, experiental learning and learning-by-doing method. Fourth chapter is about the Forum theatre method, it's history and mainly it's realisation. The last part is practically focused, it describes author's personal experience with Forum theatre and it's relisation in the elementary schools. In addition, this experience is enriched by research interviews. These interviews are focused on opinions and experience of the teachers who are familiar with Forum theatre method. Multidisciplinary Approach to Rehabilitation of a Family

The theoretical part of this diploma thesis aims to summarize the basic information about rehabilitation of a family as a relatively new phenomena in Czech social work with families. Firstly I describe according to a disposable literature functions of a family, its importance to a child as well as the most common problems a family can face. Than I place rehabilitation of a family as an approach into the Czech system of care of vulnerable children and describe disadvantages of the current system. Lastly I decribe the characteristics of rehabilitation of a family as a multidisciplinary approach to family social work. The empirical part of this thesis is based on semi-structured interwievs with profesionals in the field of rehabilitation of a family as well as clients of family rehabilitation services. It aims to find out how can we use educational activities when working with families in danger of social failure. The Relationship Between Teacher and Pupil in Extracurricular Education

The theme of this bachelor thesis is the relationship between teacher and pupil in extracurricular education. This theme was chosen on the basis that extracurricular education, specifically the creation of the relationship between teacher and pupil in extracurricular education, not by me a lot of literature and it is still an area less discussed. The theoretical part of the thesis I have dealt with the interaction between teacher and pupil, which was the subject of my research. I compared the extracurricular and school education, I have focused on the personality of the teacher and the pupil, and the shaping of the relationship between teacher and pupil. The aim of theoretical part was to compare the school and extracurricular education, characterize the personality of the teacher and pupil and describe the process of forming a relationship between teacher and pupil in school education. The empirical part I made research, which I used qualitative method as a tool chosen semi-structured interview. Interview was directed to teachers who deal with extracurricular education. Problematic issues of home schooling

This work deals with the general issue of homeschooling, particularly the negative aspects that can bring this type of education. At first the theoretical part gives the definition of basic and advanced terms and subsequently the approach of the topic including legislative measures and implementation of homeschooling in the Czech Republic and also in other European and non-European countries. Consequently, analyzes the potential pitfalls of individualized education. The practical part is focused on the specific experience of people who are involved in the homeschooling. This part is processed through interviews with graduates of this form of education, their parents and through communication with the school. The aim of this work is to explain the issue, the motives that lead parents to choose this form of education and to critically analyse all the negatives associated with homeschooling.
The Choice of an Appropriate Subject of Study Through Practical Experience

This text concentrates on career decision making of high school students aspirating to university studies. The emphasis is on practical work experience as a specific aspect of career counselling. The goal of the thesis is to examine the role of a practical experience inthe scope of career decision making. The thesis first offers a theoretical grounding of the topic.The empirical part includes a detailed description of a project, the aim of which was to arrange for students an opportunity for a practical work experience within the field they are interested in studying. Education of Visually Impaired Children with Focus on Music Education

The theme of this bachelor thesis is the education of visually impaired children with focus on music education. The aim of this work is to chart methods currently applied the in education of visually impaired children with a focus on music education. The current methodies will be compared with the procedures that had been used in the education of visually impaired children in the past. The theoretical part is mainly aimed at education of the pupil/student with visual impairment, where it was drawn from the quoted literature and selected scholarly resources. In this section it is possible to find types of schools for the visually impaired, teaching methods, but also brief etiology of visual defects, and finally, possibilities of employment of visually impaired people in the music field. The second (empirical) part of this thesis deals with the processing of research through questionnaires and interviews. Home preparation of pupils with specific learning disabilities

The thesis addresses the issue of students' home preparation at primary school. The thesis is focused on students with learning disabilities, so in the first chapter of the theoretical part these disabilities are analyzed, describing their etiology and education opportunities in the school education system of the Czech republic. Re-education, as one of the ways through which we can help to eliminate manifestations of specific learning disabilities, is also emphasised. The characteristics of a child of primary school, education maturation, the process of learning and cognitive processes are contained in the second chapter of the thesis. Home preparation, its functions, types and factors are comprised in the third chapter. This chapter also describes the necessity of cooperation between parents and the school. The empirical part provides the description of home preparation of pupils at primary school with specific learning disabilities. The end of the practical part shows us a collection of games, activities and experiences of our respondents, which are enriched with vertified activities, games and recommendations related to the pupils with specific learning disabilities. Pedagogical view on the upbringing of children by homosexual couples

This Master's Thesis approaches the phenomen of upbringing of children by lesbian and gay couples. It deals with primary school teachers' attitude to the question of homosexuality and homoparentality. In the theoretical part, the issues such as family, gender, gender role and identity are introduced. Thereafter the work is focused on the concept of gay and lesbian families, the legal aspects of homoparentality and the possible approach to parenting by the same-sex couples. The thesis also presents some of the realized researches into homoparentality. Part of these studies covers a potentional influence of upbringing by same- sex parents on child's development. Second part comprises the researches focused on parental experience of gays and lesbian women. The last chapter of theoretical part deals with the conception of homosexuality and education at schools. The aim of the practical part is to find out what the attitude of primary school teachers to homosexuality and homoparentality is really like, whether and how these topics are taught and how the attitude of teachers is reflected in teaching/lessons. THE ATTITUDES OF SOCIALLY EXLUDED FAMILIES TOWARDS EDUCATION Abstract This graduation thesis is concerned with the families living in the localities of social exclusion and with their attitudes towards education. The main purpose of this work is to study attitudes towards education and to design potential solutions to existing problems. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis describes the basic concepts related to the topic, deals with the problems concerning education of people with the social and cultural disadvantage and describes the characteristcs of the locality of social exlusion Náhlov. The practical part is divided into the research part which explores attitudes of Náhlov families towards education and the project part which describes an attempt to solve some of the existing problems.
