The long-term stability and properties of a skin cream with addition of liposomes
Müllerová, Kristýna ; Pekař, Miloslav (referee) ; Enev, Vojtěch (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to design a formulation and subsequently prepare a native skin cream and skin creams enriched with liposomal particles with encapsulated vitamin E. After preparation of the skin creams, their stability and rheological properties were studied at given time intervals during storage for 12 weeks. The stability of the prepared samples was determined using a LUMiSizer analytical centrifuge with STEP-Technology. Among the rheological properties, changes in the rate of structure recovery of the formulations were monitored, as well as changes in zero and infinite viscosity, which can be presented as changes in viscosity during product storage and changes in viscosity during application and spreading on the skin. All stability and rheological tests were performed for a temperature of 25 °C, which also corresponded to the storage temperature, and for a temperature of 37 °C, which approximately corresponds to the human body temperature. According to the results, the sample without the addition of liposomes showed the highest stability and the skin cream with the addition of 10 wt.% liposomes at 1 week of age showed the best spreadability. Next, the characterization of liposomal particles was performed. Finally, a sensory analysis was performed where the evaluators compared the fresh native skin cream, the native skin cream at 12 weeks of age, the fresh skin cream with the highest liposome content and the skin cream with the highest liposomal particle content at 12 weeks of age.

Müllerová, Kateřina ; Jáč, Pavel (advisor) ; Lochman, Lukáš (referee)
Department: Department of Analytical Chemistry Candidate: Kateřina Műllerová Supervisor: PharmDr. Pavel Jáč, Ph.D. Title of the diploma thesis: Testing of potential capability of chiral ionic liquids with long alkyl chain in capillary electrophoresis chiral separations II Chiral ionic liquid (−)-N-dodecyl-N-methylephedrinium bromide (DMEB) was tested as a selector for chiral separations of selected drugs such as chiral quinolones, ketoprofen, and flurbiprofen by capillary electrophoresis (CE). The effect of several parameters on enantioseparation was examined: (i) type and pH of the separation buffer, (ii) type and amount of organic modifier, and (iii) the concentration of DMEB. When using this chiral selector, only the separation of ofloxacin enantiomers was observed, while the enantiorecognition of other chiral model analytes was not successful under the conditions tested. As a next step, a CE method for the assay of levofloxacin was developed to demonstrate the potential of DMEB as a chiral selector in quality control of single-isomer drugs. The best separation was achieved with 20 mM tris buffer of pH 8.5 containing 100 mM DMEB and 20 % (v/v) of acetonitrile as the background electrolyte. The separation took place in 50 µm id fused silica capillary (80.5 cm / 72 cm) at −30 kV with UV detection...

TITLE: Public Relations in Leisure Time Centres AUTHOR: Kamila Müllerová DEPARTMENT: Centrum školského managementu SUPERVISOR: Ing. Bc. Blanka Pechová ABSTRACT: This bachelor thesis is aimed at finding public relations concept for leisure time centres which can be subsequently implemented by particular leisure time centre management in their own regional public relations policy. The thesis considers public relations an important tool for a successful run of a leisure time centre within the marketplace of leisure time activities and services. There are three distinctive parts of the thesis; theoretical, research and practical one. The objective of the theoretical part is to introduce the institution of the leisure time centre in general and define the main aspects of public relations subject matter. The basis for this part became findings from available literature and other sources regarding public and media relations cited as follows. The research part builds on analysis of the state, run and the true practice of PR in leisure time centres. The instrument of the research was a web-site questionnaire. The conclusion of this part serves as one of the bases for the final outcomes of the thesis. The subject of investigation became leisure time centres located in the Czech Republic. The practical part of the...

Müllerová, Kristina ; Hoftichová, Petra (advisor) ; Indrová, Martina (referee)
This work aims to capture the area of public sculpture in the public space of the city in a wider context. Geographically, the work deals with the Czech socio- cultural environment with emphasis on the City of Prague. The objective is to explicate the engagement of culture as a fundamental attribute of human existence and interdisciplinary cultural studies approach in enhancing the reflection of social reality with the historical factor. The city acts here as a specific organism which is formed by certain social, cultural and historical ties that affect significantly both the material and spiritual quality of public life and space of the town. A public sculpture, as a specific social and cultural phenomenon enters the tangible / physical environment of the city and in coexistence with the society evokes new sensory values of public space. The work also mentions significant sculptures and, last but not least, deals with methodological and practical part of this issue, namely cultural politics of the City of Prague in relation to financing and installation of public sculpture in the contemporary city. Keywords city, society, space, public sculpture, culture politics
Self Management of Pupils of The Business Academy and The College of Turism and Language School in Karlovy Vary
Müllerová, Kateřina ; Bendl, Stanislav (advisor) ; Syřiště, Ivo (referee)
The thesis deals with student participation in the life of the school and more specifically with the work of student self-administration. The goal of the theoretical part is to define the concept of student participation and all its accessible forms. To outline the life of students self-administrations and present a current picture of the issue of student participation in the Czech Republic. To compare international experience with the work of student self-administration, as mainly in the course of the last couple of years there have been changes in thinking about student participation. The theoretical context serves as a basis for the empirical part of the paper. The main goal of the investigation is to analyze and describe the work of student self-administration at a chosen high school. The research also describes what possibilities and limits students as well as the management and teachers feel there are in relation to successful operation of student self-administration. The research was realized using a mixed qualitative/quantitative model (QUAN - QVAL scheme). The sample comprises of students, members of the student self-administration, teachers and management of a chosen high school.
Development and optimization of ointment preparation for burn healing
Müllerová, Kristýna ; Sedláček, Petr (referee) ; Enev, Vojtěch (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis aims to prepare ointments based on an ointment base with the addition of a bioactive component of chlorophyll according to a recipe from an unknow doctor. The basic characteristic of emulsions was performer in the theoretical part, their instability and possible methods of stabilization were described. Furthermore, the reader is acquainted with the bioactive substance of chlorophyll, selected ointments for the healing of burns and wounds and finally with the use in medicine. In the Experimental part, the preparation of emulsion bases of ointment was described. Based on a performed analysis of stability using analytical centrifuge, two ointments bases were selected, to which other components were added – chlorophyll, beeswax, and chamomile extract. The stability of completely prepared ointments was studied at 25 °C and 37 °C, this analysis was performed even after a longer time interval. Using ATR-FTIR spectrometry the present functional groups were identified at prepared ointments, individual components of the ointments base and chlorophyll. Based on the stability measurement of the prepared ointments and rheological measurements (oscillation and rotational measurements), it was evaluated that the best properties were shown by the prepared ointment with an ointment base consisting of 30 wt. % white vaseline and 70 wt. % synderman.
