The effect of dramatic activities on Lisbon key competencies

This thesis verifies the effect of dramatic activities on the development of social key competencies. The theoretical part defines a framework of key competencies and dramatic activities. The empirical part provides (the larger) context of research, which is part of an international research project DICE (Drama Improves Lisbon Key Competences in Education). Then comes the description and analysis of the collected data. The findings of the empirical part do not confirm the effect of dramatic activities on the development of social key competencies, but at the same time they show possible reasons why this effect was not confirmed.
Educational and psychological aspects of experiential learning

The topic of this master thesis are educational and psychological aspects of experiential learning. This is analysed on the example of high school orientation courses. The teoretical part of this thesis deals - on the background of academic literature - with experiential learning, experential learning, social groups and group atmosphere in school classes. The empirical part analyses the development of group atmosphere and the development of group relationships at four classes which all lunderwent different types of orientation courses. The thesis finds that the orientation courses are advantages for the quality of relations between students and their future development.

Parent's criteria for the choice of a kindergarten

The thesis is a theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part is aimed at pre-school age children, what is for children in this age characteristics, their needs, development specifics. With this would be closely linked to parents' demands for a suitable nursery school for their child. How to kindergarten with their parents should look to meet you, how to work with their children. There are laws and regulations that are standard for pre-school education, which every school must follow and the general educational program for pre-education curriculum, which outlines the state requirements for pre-school education. Finally, a list of existing types of nursery schools, what is their intention, in what is typical and what is different from others. In the empirical part the survey focused on parental selection criteria for nursery schools enriched by individual interview of one of the parents and interviews with the director of nursery school. Here's how they see the situation of those with this issue in daily contact. At the very end of the work is an objective summary and interpretation of data and made its findings. Diplomová práce Animace kultury ve výchově a vzdělávání/ The Animation of Culture in Education Vypracovala: Kristýna Cihlářová 2011, KPED FFUK Abstract Nowadays, various cultural institutions realize their strategies of opening cultural services and the arts to the public. These strategies include the conception of educational programmes, particularly animation programmes for schools. The diploma thesis gives a definition of the animation of culture, its position and function in education. It focuses on a concrete type of an educational programme; an animation programme for the 1st and 2nd grade of basic school held in various types of cultural institutions. The thesis analyses the creation and realization of the animation programme from two perspectives; a theoretical and a practical one; by means of interviews with contemporary authors of animation programmes as well as by means of observation of the programmes. The two perspectives represent the confrontation of the ideal and real state of the issue. The conclusion offers practical recommendations in response to the articulated problems during the creation and realization of the programme. Doctoral dissertation thesis is devoted to questions of personality and social development from perspective of its methods, organizing forms and evaluation. At first the work dissertates on pedagogics of personality and social development in the context of pedagogical mind development and recent curriculum documents. The analysis of pedagogics of personality and social development from perspective of selected theoretical base line data makes the following thematic unit. As theoretical baseline data, the recent educational theories (spiritualist theory, personalistics theory, cognitive-psychology and sociocognitive theories) and educational systems of personality and social development (personality and social education, drama education, sociopsychological training, experiential education, global education, ethics, multicultural education ect.) are considered. Possibilities of the development of secondary schools pupil's self-conception in condideration of artphiletic approach courses

This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of the teacher's influence on the pupils' self-conception. The first part contains the definition of basic terms, explanation of the process of forming of se1f-conception and sets as its goal to point at the basic problems which the pupils encounter in relation to themselves. The aim of the second part is to show the specific options how the teacher in a common school can positive1y influence the selfconception of his pupils (with the stres s on the potential of personal and social education and cooperative pedagogy). Third part presents artphiletic approach as an option which the teacher (or school) can use in this effort. Part of this section is also an empirical enquiry finding what positive contribution do the participants of the artphiletic course reflect in relation to their self-conception.
German secondary schools in Brno in 1918-1945

The paper gives an account of the German secondary education in Brno during the years 1918-1945. The secondary education, within this paper, comprises training schools for teachers and technical and business schools as well. The purpose of the paper is to give a complete overview of the German secondary education in Brno during the given period of time, in the general context of education legislation. The analysis of the schools in Brno is preceded by a brief introduction to the system of secondary education in the Czechoslovak Republic and to the question of German secondary education in the Czechoslovak Republic. The paper examines the schools in Brno from diverse points of view (number of students, their religion and mother tongue, the percentage of female students, school financing and school fees, marking, …) and aims to describe the history of the schools and the relations among them. The source materials are primarily composed of documents written in German (school annual reports, anniversary memory books, principal and class registers, chronicles) and literature on secondary education of that period (predominantly by R. Neuhöfer). The work may serve as a basis for comparative works (to be compared with the Czech secondary schools in Brno, German secondary schools in Prague, etc.).

This work deal with system of drama improvisation which appears from the theatre sports. The practice part describes its goals, resources and principles. It offers to use the methods of drama improvisation as a possibility of teacher' s personal development. The theoretical part explores the effects of drama improvisation on personal development and resumes the results of the research.
