Effect of morphine application on the rat circadian system
Platilová, Michaela ; Bendová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Svobodová, Irena (referee)
Circadian rhythms are controlled by endogenous mammalian biological oscillators. The main oscillator is located in the suprachiasmatic nuclei in the hypothalamus and entrains the phases of slave peripheral oscillators located in many organs and tissues. Under natural conditions, circadian rhythms are synchronized with an external 24-hour day, by light-dark changes during the day. In addition, the circadian system is sensitive to a number of non-photic stimuli, such as arousal or social interactions, severe stress, medicines, alcohol or opiates. Timed application of opioids causes phase shifts of the circadian rhythmicity in behaviour and negatively affects light synchronization. The aim of this work is to explore the effect of acute morphine on the activity of cellular signaling cascades in SCN cells, that are essential for the proper function of the circadian clock, and to elucidate the molecular interaction between opioid and circadian system. Our data suggest that acute activation of opioid signalization affect the circadian clock indirectly, and suprachiasmatic nuclei obtain the information via afferents form other part of brain. Besides that, the side data of our work show the decrease of pERK1/2 a pGSK3β within two hours after the light pulse, which is the observation that has not been yet...

The thesis is focused on influence of controlled movement activities to results of elementary skills and potential of pre-school children. The theoretical part describes it in general (movement activity, skills, dexterity, movement,...) and individual meanings. The practical part deals with testing of children and questioning of their parents. The results bring information on relation between of amount of controlled activities of children and their performance in basic kinetic tests. The fundamental is to create an overview of level of movement skills and dexterity using testing of particular age groups of pre-school children Preschool age Movement skills...

Influence of compensation exercises in primary school with extra swimming lessons
Cepáková, Hana ; Hronzová, Marie (advisor) ; Svobodová, Irena (referee)
The aim of my diploma thesis is to find out and influence positively with the help of some compensative exercises posture, flexibility and muscular unbalance among swimmers from the Swimming club in Jindřichův Hradec. Experimental research was divided into two measurements between which half of the swimmers did the compensative excercises. The input and output measurements corresponded with their content and evaluated posture, flexibility and swimmers'muscular strength. Standard tests were used for testing and evaluation. Posture was evaluated with the help of plumb line and standing on two bathroom scales. Flexibility was evaluated by standardized tests of movability according to Měkota, Thomayer and Otta tests. Muscular shortening was tested according to Janda. Standing jump, pull-ups, or rather staying power in pull-up and press-up staying power in a kneeling position were used to compare muscular strength. Key words: compensative exercises, swimming, posture, muscular unbalance
