Our modern industrialized society increasingly requires new structural materials\nfor high-temperature applications in automotive and energy-producing industrial\nsectors. Iron-aluminides are known to possess excellent oxidation and sulfidation\nresistance as well as sufficient strength at elevated temperatures. New Fe-Al-based\nmaterials will have to meet multiple casting, processing and operational criteria\nincluding high-temperature creep strength, oxidation resistance and room-temperature\nductility. Such desirable combination of materials properties can be achieved in multi-phase\nmulti-component superalloys with a specific type of microstructure (the matrix contains\ncoherent particles of a secondary phase - a superalloy microstructure). In order to design\nnew Fe-Al-based superalloys, we employ a state-ofthe-art theory-guided materials design\nconcept to identify suitable combinations of solutes.
Study of mechanical properites of nanostructured polymer coatings prepared using plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition
Buršíková, V. ; Homola, V. ; Peřina, Vratislav
The aim of the present work was to deposit transparent polymer SiOxCyHz protective coatings from hexamethyldisiloxane/ oxygen mixtures in capacitively coupled glow discharge. The coatings prepared under dusty plasma conditions showed nanocomposite character. Complex characterization of the local mechanical properties was carried out on the prepared samples from nano to microscale using indentation techniques. The coatings were very elastic, they exhibited high elastic recovery and low plastic deformation even at indentation depths approaching the coating thickness.

Recently, based on attractive mechanical properties of boride and carbide based X2BC ternary compounds (X = Mo, W and Ta) they became subjects of both theoretical calculations and experimental work. In the case of stoichiometric composition, X2BC with X = Mo, W and Ta are very promising candidates for protection of cutting and forming tools due to their unusually stiffness and moderate ductility.\nIn this work we focus on nanostructured Mo-B-C and W-B-C layers grown by magnetron sputtering on high speed steel (HSS) substrates. Mechanical properties of the layers were characterized by nanoindentation experiments in both static and dynamic loading regimes. Elastic modulus, indentation hardness and fracture resistance were evaluated and discussed. The fracture resistance of both Mo-B-C and W-B-C coatings was compared using both indentation and dynamic impact tests.\n

A Mo-B-C nanostructured coating was prepared on WC-Co hard-metal substrate by magnetron sputtering. The details of microstructure of deposited thin layer as well as elements redistribution caused by subsequent annealing at 1000°C were studied by several experimental techniquec.

Bursíková, Veronika ; Janák, Vladimír (advisor) ; Voráček, Josef (referee)
Title: Analysis of the use of telephone selling VIP hospitality for hockey teams Objectives: The main objective of this work is to determine the current status of the use of telesales VIP for hockey teams and on the basis of the general assembly retail concept VIP hospitality over the phone. Methods: The paper used methods of analysis, inquiry and observation. The analysis method was used for the analysis of segmentation current partners of clubs, a method of questioning to determine the use of telephone sales in the sales of individual clubs and finally observation method was used to evaluate the implementation of telephone sales at the club, which it uses to sell VIP hospitality. Results: There was a finding that telesales is not widely used sales technique VIP hospitality. Clubs do not use it at all or incorrectly consequently, the inefficiently. Those who use telephone sales violate the basic principles of this type of sale and does not put enough emphasis staffing these positions. Keywords: telemarketing, VIP hospitality, sponsorship

Bursíková, Veronika ; Janák, Vladimír (advisor) ; Voráček, Josef (referee)
Title: Optimalisation of communication between HC Letci Letňany and parents. Abstract: Bachelor thesis Optimization HC Letci Letňany communication with parents is about communication and PR activities of the club in relation to the parents of players first class. The work is based on primary and secondary sources of information. Its main objectives are to assess the current status of team communication with parents, based on observations of running the team, consultation with opinion leaders and the parents received a questionnaire survey, and devising a set of principles that would lead to more effective communication of the club. The theoretical framework is to define the basic concepts of communications and Public Relations, their relations and applications in sport. Key words: Communication with parents, communications hockey club, public relations, image sports club, questionnaire.
Deposition of Hard Yet Moderately Ductile MoBC Coatings by p-DC Magnetron Sputtering
Souček, P. ; Buršíková, V. ; Zábranský, L. ; Buršík, Jiří ; Vašina, P.
Novel nanolaminated MoBC coatings were prepared using a combination of non-reactive direct current and pulsed direct current magnetron sputtering. Depending on the deposition conditions the coatings were either of amorphous or of nanocomposite nature. Nanocomposite coatings showed good hardness and Young’s modulus and showed no tendency to form cracks even for high-load nanoindentation testing.
Study of fracture toughness and wear resistance of thin MoBC coating under dynamic conditions
Buršíková, V. ; Grossman, Jan ; Fořt, Tomáš ; Souček, P. ; Zábranský, L. ; Buršík, Jiří ; Vašina, P. ; Dupák, Libor ; Sobota, Jaroslav
The aim of the present work was to study the mechanical properties of thin amorphous MoBC coatings and MoBC coatings consisting of nanocrystalline Mo2BC embedded in amorphous MoBC matrix. The hardness of the amorphous MoBC coatings (20 GPa) is comparable with the common amorphous diamond-like carbon coatings, however their elastic modulus as well as fracture toughness and ductility are significantly higher. Magnetron sputtering of three targets, B4C, C and Mo, for MoBC was used for coatings preparation. The aim of this work was to study the mechanical and tribological properties of MoBC coatings deposited on high speed steel substrate. The classification of MoBC coatings was performed using an impact tester in a dynamic mode and enabled us to predict the limit load causing the coating destruction.
A Comparison of Different Measurement Method of Mechanical Properties of Al Thin Film
Truhlář, M. ; Buršíková, V. ; Sobota, Jaroslav ; Kruml, Tomáš
The paper compares two different methods for testing of metallic thin films: microcompression test and nanoindentation. Microcompression test is one possibility how to perform mechanical tests on a very small scale. This method requires preparation of a small cylindrical specimen (micropillar) of micrometric size by FIB and execution of a compression test using nanoindenter device equipped with a flat diamond punch. Stressstrain curves of the thin films were obtained from such tests. Nanoindentation tests were then conducted to compare the results on the same films. Two different metal thin films – AlCuW, AlCuSi with thickness 2 .mu.m and grain size 3.8 .mu.m in average were prepared by PVD method. In this paper, we announce the results of measurements, a comparison of the results obtained by each method and identify advantages and limitations of the methods.

Souček, P. ; Schmidtová, T. ; Zábranský, L. ; Buršíková, V. ; Vašina, P. ; Buršík, Jiří ; Peřina, V. ; Pei, Y. ; de Hosson, J. T. M.
nc-TiC/a-C:H coatings were prepared using a well balanced and highly unbalanced magnetron sputtering. Both series were found to shov similar trends in mechanical and tribological properties depending only on the carbon in the nc-TiC/a-C:H coatings.
