MIŇOVSKÁ VOCŮ, Hana
The aim of the work is to describe how educators at the end of their professional career perceive their work in a children's home. For this purpose, the principles of substitute care, especially the forms of institutional education, were described in the theoretical part. Because institutional education cannot fully replace family education, attention was also paid to the risks of institutional education, especially the psychological deprivation that children from orphanages are often exposed to. In the following subchapters, the specifics of the educator's work in a children's home and his risk of stress, which can be one of the many factors of burnout syndrome, were described. Therefore, attention was also paid to prevention. The creative part is processed in the form of a qualitative approach.
