The effect of parental education on preschool children on social network audience

Background: These high-speed modern times are moving forward rapidly. Modern technology is getting into the hands of everyone whether we want it or not, unfortunately even our youngest. We all learn from those around us and imitate the behavior of others from a young age, especially from our parents. Aims: The main aim of this research is to map the patterns of parental behaviour regarding the use of social networking sites and the access to electronic devices of their children who are actively attending nursery school. Methods: Data were collected using an anonymous questionnaire survey. There were 136 responses in total, which were filled in, either in writing or online. The hand written questionnaires were carefully transcribed into excel spreadsheets and then analysed. Results: Children are definitely influenced by their parents in terms of screen use and what activities they seek out most on screens. Parents are most in favor of restrictive mediation. The next most represented is active mediation. Parents with a high school diploma or college education are the most likely to lend their electronic device (cell phone, computer or laptop). 6 year old children spend the most time on social media. Development of media coverage biathlon in Czech television at 2010-2014

Title: Development of media coverage biathlon in Czech television at 2010-2014 Objectives: The main objective of this work is a detailed analysis of the evolution of media coverage of biathlon on Czech Television, concretely on the ČT sport channel between 2010 and 2014. Another objective is to analyze the viewership of biathlon programs broadcasted on Czech Television. Methods: A quantitative content analysis will be used in this study, through which it will determine how much time was devoted to various biathlon programs in different years and months. An electronic TV program of Czech Television will be analyzed. Results: The analysis shows that the space devoted to biathlon on Czech Television increases during this period of time. The largest increase of broadcast time was noted between 2011 and 2013. The most influential events in this broadcast time were major events such as World Championships and Olympics. Escalation of the crisis in Greek public broadcasting television in 2013-2014

The main topic of this thesis is the functioning of the public service media, especially public service television broadcasters. After general definitions of the basic terms associated with this topic, the thesis highlights the differences between the media in the private and the public sectors, and characterizes the public service media in the previously selected European countries: the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic. The choice of these particular states was based on their different economic, political and media systems. The history, the development and the crisis of the Greek public service media are subjected to a thorough analysis. Regarding the inclusion of the historical context the thesis moves onto the crisis which occurred in June 2013 due to inconsistent government interferences in the media field, which led to a suspension of the transmission of the Greek public broadcaster ERT. The practical part is dedicated to a detailed analysis of the viewership of the Greek television, focusing on the period before, during and after the crisis had occurred. The main objective of the thesis is to point out whether the government interferences had influenced the viewership of the Greek television.
The coronavirus epidemic and the audience of Mall.tv

This thesis is investigating the question of how and why there was a change in a viewership of the internet television Mall.tv during the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic in spring 2020. While looking for an answer for this work, a quantitative analysis of internal data provided by Mall.tv is used. This all is processed with the help of statistical methods. Simultaneously, this work is testing the hypothesis, according to which the audience show #kulturažije could be the key factor influencing the transformation of the size and socio demographic composition. From the results of the analysis, it is clear that the audience was not changed during the spring and that major changes are visible after the spring wave. The hypothesis, which states that the show #kulturažije was supposed to bring more new users to the website, was not confirmed but it was found that impact of the project was rather marginal.
Transformations of TV viewers'habits in the Czech media market

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to present the current situation in the Czech television market in comparison with previous years. How did the viewership of stations and also the preferences of viewers change with the expansion of the program offer, especially by thematic channels. In the first part of the thesis, the reader will learn a brief history of television, an explanation of the term medium, the definition of the media audience, and the development of stations in the Czech media market. Then the thesis describes the various methods used for research, which are quantitative analysis of data from electronic measurement of television viewing and qualitative analysis using the method Focus groups, or group interviews. The final part analyzes the results that these methods brought - that is, how and whether they changed over time in the viewer's preferences.
The research of biathlon among students of FTVS UK

Title: The research of biathlon vieweship among students of FTVS UK Objectives: The objective of this bachelor thesis is to provide data on the basis of marketing research about biathlon viewership among students of FTVS UK. Contribution of this thesis should be providing useful insight related to viewership and interest into biatlon for this group. This data could set a basis for a deeper reasearch in the foreseeable future. Methods: This thesis uses the method of quantitative research. The selection of the respondents was done by partially influences selection and the minimal sample size was set to at least seventy five respondents. Electronic questioning was used to collect the primary data. Results: According to the research results, nearly 86 % of the respondents had shown interest into biathlon. It was also found out, that vast majority of them has been watching biathlon races via ČT sport channel. More than 78 % of the respondents follows biathlon content on social networks. According to respondents, the two most important factors of biathlon broadcasting are quality commentary and quantity of commercials. Keywords: marketing research, media, viewership, biathlon
TV Viewing Habits between Generations

This thesis deals with the differences of TV viewing habits between generations. The aim is to find out how different are their viewing habits. How much time each generation spend watching television, which TV channels and TV programmes are they watching. The thesis compares generations of Baby Boomers, X, Y and Z. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and analytical. The theoretical part contains a description of television as a mass media and describe its development. The theoretical part also characterizes the television market and the main TV stations in the Czech Republic. There are also explained terms as Ratings, ATS or Target Affinity Index. The thesis also contains a short description of television program schedules. At the end of the theoretical part are characterized generations and their characteristics. The analytical section tries to find answers to research questions. How does TV watch time vary between generations? The thesis shows that generation Baby Boomers is watching television the most, and has the biggest divergences in viewing during the week and during the year. Comparison of broadcasting of Czech Television from Ice Hockey World Championship 2004 and 2015

The bachelor thesis Comparison of worldchampionship broadcasting on Czech Television from Ice Hockey World Championship 2004 and 2015 analysis the circumstances of the formation and the progress made by the mentioned television. The thesis is separated into two chapters. The goal of the first chapter is to define terms as sport media, televisual broadcast, broadcasting rights and sports journalism in its historical circumstances. The theory is describing the history of the Czech Television and its role in present society. The next part of these thesis is the chapter of the Czech Television sport channel, which describes its origin and the present condition. The theory is ended by the chapter of history of the championship broadcast, shortly describing the way of medial processing previous home ice hockey championships. The practical part of these thesis is formed as a qualitative analysis trying to ask the questions how and why the project World championship broadcast was created and what competences and responsibilities were rested in.
