Advanced Techniques Demo Using OpenGL
Buček, Antonín ; Přibyl, Jaroslav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis demonstrates advanced techniques using OpenGL. The work is conceived as a demo without any size restrictions. It focuses on creating 3D world, which consists of inner rooms complex. Some additional interesting objects, lighting and shadows enrich the rooms. Particle systems, which were used to create explosions, smokes and some other particle effects are described in the thesis, too. 3D machine models fight between themselves using laser beams and form the story of the demo. Important part of the work is a movement model which is applied to both models and avatar. Sound track completes the demo.

Watermarking 3D Models
Stehlík, Václav ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is dedicated to embedding and extraction of watermarks to/from 3D models represented by polygonal mesh. The goal is to choose a suitable method for watermark embedding and extraction to/from a 3D model for the purpose of implementing a tool of such capabilities. The resulting solution uses methods proposed in article A Novel Blind Robust Digital Watermarking on 3D Meshes . Used methods create two watermarks. 'OTC' watermark that changes vertices of the model and 'Zero' watermark that does not change the model at all. These watermarks provide robustness against attacks and modification such as translation, scaling, rotation, simplification, random noise, remeshing and vertex reordering. Used methods also preserve imperceivability of watermark thanks to minimal changes of the model. Methods are blind and do not require original model. The tool is implemented in a form of simple web application which allows user to embed and extract watermark to/from files in stl format. This work includes testing and evaluation of success and usability of the tool against various attacks on chosen test set of models.
Watermarking 3D Models
Honzátková, Tereza ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
Goals of this work are to summarize the process and existing methods of 3D models watermarking, to choose relevant methods for embedding/extraction of a watermark to/from 3D models. The final solution is based on Spectral Mesh Compression technique. This method is robust, imperceptible and informed. The embedded watermark is detectable and robust against geometrical transformations, added random noise, mesh smoothing and simplification, compression and cropping.  The realized tool allows a user to embedding watermark into the mesh, modify the mesh and extraction of a watermark from mesh. Testing was conducted on a set of 5 models differing in size, shape and density of points. The resulting tool inserts a watermark composed of four characters that can detect both undamaged models and the models affected. Among the attacks against which the watermark is robust, include transformations, rotation, scale, adaptive random noise, and combination of this.
In vitro models for studying Syncytin-1-induced fusion of trophoblast cells
Jech, Lukáš ; Trejbalová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Zíková, Martina (referee)
Trophoblast cell fusion is essential for human placenta development. Apart from initiating blastocyst implantation, syncytialization is critical for optimal nutrient and gas exchange between mother and fo- etus. Multicellular syncytia called syncytiotrophoblast covers the surface of the branched structure of chorionic villi, which is in direct contact with maternal blood. Impairment of the syncytialization process leads to insufficient fetal nutrition and severe pregnancy complications. Syncytia formation is induced by the interaction of the surface glycoprotein of retrovital origin, Syncytin-1, with its receptor. Despite the significance of these processes, the details of cell fusion and trophoblast differentiation remain unk- nown. Furthermore, because of its uniqueness, the human placenta cannot be covered by animal models. As a result, research into human placental development, especially Syncytin-1-induced trophoblast cell fusion, is limited to in vitro trophoblast models. These models include primary trophoblast cell cultures and trophoblast cell lines, which can be obtained by immortalizing cell cultures or extracted from trophoblast tumours. Dedifferentiated trophoblast stem cell cultures were also established. The most recent approach, however, involves the direct reprogramming of dermal...
Visualization of SDF Based Scenes
Fusek, Petr ; Karas, Matej (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
Aplikace vyvinutá v jazyce Rust s využitím grafického API wgpu umožňuje vytvářet tyto SDF modely a demonstruje představené vykreslovaní techniky. Tato aplikace by mohla sloužit základ pro budoucí vývoj jednoduchého 3D nástroje pro umělce, kteří hledají alternativu tradičního polygonálního modelování.
