Dynamic visual functions assessment and training in juniors training game sports
Pecková, Natalie ; Valouchová, Petra (advisor) ; Kolář, Jáchym (referee)
The term neurovisual training describes procedures that improve an individual's visual- cognitive skills. In this thesis, we tried to characterize selected visual-cognitive skills, unify examination procedures and find possibilities for their training. In the theoretical part, you can find a list of conventional and software tools used for this purpose. In the appendices we describe specific exercises with selected tools. In the practical part, we put together training aimed at selected parameters and tested its effect on a group of junior volleyball players. Methodology: We established seven parameters that we monitored as part of input and output measurements. The examination can be divided into the static part, which was carried out by a qualified optometrist, and the dynamic part using the Senaptec Sensory Station under the guidance of a trained physiotherapist. Of the original 31 probands participating in input measurement, only 18 participated in output measurement. They were volleyball players from two Prague clubs with an average age of around 13 years. Probands were randomly assigned to an intervention and control group. The intervention group underwent three months of neurovisual training in a common part of conventional training at a frequency of one per week with the addition of...
Apophyseal injuries in sporting children and adolescents
Šťastná, Kateřina ; Valouchová, Petra (advisor) ; Procházka, Michal (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of apophyseal injuries in the population of sporting older children and juniors. The bachelor thesis is divided into several parts. The introductory part of the work focuses on various types of acute and chronic injuries and their description, treatment options and their prevention. The thesis also concentrates on prevention of these injuries with regard to the quality, frequency and complexity of training, taking into consideration the anatomical, physiological and, last but not least, psychomotor development of the child. The thesis also describes coaches' approach towards training of children and juniors to and its affecting factors that may increase or decrease the frequency of injuries. Part of the work is also a practical part, where the case studies of a patient with a diagnosis of M. Osgood-Schlater are compiled. The patient respectively his legal representative agreed to the processing of information about his treatment for the purposes of this bachelor's thesis.
Effect of kinesiotaping on shoulder girdle muscle activity
Dvořáková, Petra ; Valouchová, Petra (advisor) ; Bitnar, Petr (referee)
Kinesiotaping is a new method used for an extremely wide range of clinical conditions. Kinesiotaping is established in sport for treatment and prevention of injury and offers therapists a new treatment possibility of muskuloskeletal injuries and disorders. There are used elastic permeable and water-resistant adhesive tapes of different colours. Elasticity of the tape maintains the patient's full mobility. This is the decisive advantage compared with the previous treatment taping methods. The mechanism of kinesiotaping is based on two main effects. The kinesiotape stimulate the skin receptors and increase interstitial space between the skin and the underlying connective tissues. Therefore it improves the circulation of both venous and lymphatic fluid and decrease pressure on mechanical nociceptors. It is surprising that even though the kinesiotaping is being very often used, there is lack of evidence demonstrating its effectiveness. The aim of the thesis is therefore to summarize all general information about the kinesiotaping and compare them with published results. The special chapter is devoted to the kinesiotaping of the shoulder girdle, which is supplemented by a practical section about the muscle activity effect of the kinesiotaping of the shoulder girdle measured by surface electromyography.
Gait disorders in Patients with Parkinson's disease
Bulová, Hana ; Zárubová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Valouchová, Petra (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with problems of the Parkinson's disease (PD). It is an incurable neurodegenerative disorder which is caused by degeneration of pigment cells producing dopamine in the substantia nigra. The lack of dopamine impairs regulating activities of the basal ganglia. That leads to manifestation of the typical symptoms of PD. Knowledge survey briefly describes symptoms, diagnostics and treatment for this disease. This paper focuses on neurolocomotor process, movement control and especially gait disorders which occurs in patients with Parkinson's disease. Problems with walking develops subsequently, progressively limiting patients in their daily activities. Because current medications providing little relieve, physiotherapy plays an important role in ameliorating these symptoms. This thesis describes various physiotherapeutic approaches. It emphasizes necessity of regular exercising which is absolutely essential to slow the progression of the disease and its debilitating effects. Practical part of this work focuses on the efficacy of the therapy on one patient. This man has the typical PD symptoms and freezing and hesitation often happens to him. He has no cognitive deficit which may hinder his ability to cooperate with therapist. This part also evaluate impact of the therapy based patient's...
Kinematic analysis dinamic neuromuscular stabilization tests in people with low back pain.
Burešová, Vendula ; Valouchová, Petra (advisor) ; Kobesová, Alena (referee)
The main target of this thesis was to detect objective changes in the implementation of four postural locomotor tests DNS and during walking. The movements were recorded using the optical MoCap - the kinematic analysis Qualisys. The particular interest of the investigation was to determine the current stabilization of the spine system in individual subjects aged 25 to 55 years, which was documented by means of the angular deflection of each segment, the flat segment deviation or the shift of the marker in a coordinate system. The measurement results were compared between ten individuals with LBP and ten persons without any difficulty who were placed into the control group. The data were collected using the software QTM and Visual3D and subsequently were statistically processed. A statistically significant difference was observed during walking when comparing the angular deflection of the pelvis to the chest at the rotation and lateroflexion (ř). The significant difference of the pelvis shift toward the chest during flexion and rotation (ř) was showed in a deep squat test, but the difference was not confirmed in lateroflexion (ř). Furthermore, no statistical difference of the lateral deflection of the same segment (pelvis or chest) (cm) in patients with LBP compared to all subjects during the...
The observation of the influence of Vojta's reflex locomotion on the activity of the shoulder girdle's muscles with surface electromyography
Pochylová, Barbora ; Valouchová, Petra (advisor) ; Zounková, Irena (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the influence of Vojta's reflex locomotion on the activity of the shoulder girdle's muscles with surface electromyography. We also observed the activity of some of the trunk's muscles. We tested phasic and support function of the upper extremity in several movements on 15 healthy people. It didn't bring many significant values. It could be caused by different sensitivities of the participants for the stimulation, the short time of the stimulation, individual motoric stereotypes or not so strongly expressed muscle dysbalantion within healthy individuals.

Static and dynamic analysis of plantar pressure, spinal and pelvic motion in diagnosis femoroacetabular impingement
Štefková, Silvia ; Valouchová, Petra (advisor) ; Demeková, Júlia (referee)
Aim of this thesis is to evaluate distribution of plantar pressure and the movement of spine and pelvis in patients diagnosed with femoroacetabular impingement syndrome. The results were obtained using Diers pedoscan system which can record the pressure distribution of feet during stance and motion. Also Diers formetric III 4D system was used to obtain photogrammetic records of spine and pelvis movement. We use rasterstereography based on Moiré topografy. Measured data represent three dimensional model of back surface during static or dynamic analysis. In addition we evaluated the effect of treatment using Dynamic neuromuscular stabilization. Obtained results were statistically processed. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Surface electromyography leg and trunk muscle in patients with Jumper's knee
Crhonková, Radka ; Valouchová, Petra (advisor) ; Čech, Zdeněk (referee)
The goal of this thesis is summarize the current knowledge about Jumper's knee. It also includes a brief summary of the anatomy and kinesiology of the knee and then a separate chapter is devoted to the etiology, clinical picture, investigations and treatment of Jumper's knee. On these findings has been prepared and compiled research project hypotheses. This research is to determine whcther, and what affects Jumper's knee in the human musculoskeletal system. To this end, we chose a method of surface electromyography and dynamic plantography for analysis of pressure distribution and reaction forces during foot contact with the plate. Attention was focused on the comparison of side differences and timing muscle trunk and legs during dynamic activities sdccted. The results were compared with a control group that consisted of healthy individuals. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
