Temporal Tone-Mapping Methods for HDR Video

The diploma thesis provides the theoretical background needed to understand the complex topic of high dynamic range, and deals with the implementation of an innovative method for temporal video tone-mapping. At first, high dynamic range image acquisition, storage and processing are described. Afterwards, a general introduction to tone-mapping, description of undesirable image artifacts and an overview of existing state-of-the-art algorithms are presented. The part which follows focuses on the implementation of the chosen method and proposes several additional enhancements of the initially selected algorithm. Based on the information provided, an application with an intuitive graphical interface, which can be used for temporal HDR video tone-mapping, has been created. Finally, the the achieved results are demonstrated and visually compared with existing methods for temporal video tone-mapping.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the system of personnel management focusing on the area of recruitment of the selected company. The main aim of the thesis is to prepare proposals for changes that will contribute to improving and streamlining the functioning of the company in this field. The diploma thesis is composed of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with recruitment issues. Both Czech and foreign sources were used to process this part. The practical part analyzes the current situation in the company regarding the area of recruitment. The analysis was conducted on the basis of a controlled interview with the Personnel Department Manager. At the end of the thesis, based on this analysis, proposals and recommendations for improving and streamlining the management of the examined area are elaborated.

Specifically, the work focuses on digital data extraction from customers, which not only improves the professionalism and success of sales, but also reduces controlling costs and human resources.

The bachelor thesis entitled "God as Father in the Writings of Cardinal Tomáš Špidlík, SJ" provides a description and analysis of those writings of Cardinal Tomáš Špidlík,SJ that deal with God's Fatherhood. The introductory part contains a brief survey of Cardinal Špidlík's life and pays attention to his relationship with his own father. The subject of God's Fatherhood is structured in accordance with the spiritual theological katabatic description. First God Father is described as one of the three persons of the Holy Trinity. Then there is a description of Jesus Christ as the one who revealed God Father to us here on the Earth and also showed us how to turn to Him. The final part deals with an understanding of God Father as the perfect model for spiritual fatherhood. The method used is that of searching for facts in those of father Cardinal's texts that describe the above-mentioned subject and critical analysis of the facts.

HDR Image Acquisition from Sequence of Images

This bachelor thesis deals with high dynamic range image acquisition based on composition of ordinary digital photographs. Using this composition method, a program with graphical user interface is implemented. This application is able to save created images with high dynamic range or convert them to figures that are displayable on common displays using tone mapping.

This bachelor thesis is solved in an environment saturated insurance market in the Czech Republic. Thesis discuss about the life insurance product from Allianz pojišťovna a.s. specifically the promotion of sales of this product. Work represents an algorithm, which is used for routine business practice sales representative and facilitate the sale. According to the needs of traders is a program created in the development environment of MS Excel, a Visual Basic for Applications. The created solution enables the trader to demonstrate the same time ensuring incomes (ie. costs) client in the context of ensuring of housing and ensuring the future. The main result of this work is to create a financial plan for the individual.

Scrabble Game State Recognition

This thesis deals with the image processing, object detection and recognition and OCR (Optical Character Recognition). It describes the design and implementation of an application for Scrabble game state recognition using some algorithms in this area. It describes the detection of the game board in the image and the letters on it, classification of detected letters and word formation. The final application uses the OpenCV library for image processing and the LIBSVM library for letter classification. The application was tested on a custom set of photos.

Sheet Music Recognition and Playing from Photography

This work deals with development of an application for optical music recognition. This application is designed for mobile phones with Android operating system. The work includes a brief introduction to the problem and introduces some existing solutions. There are described methods for image processing and classification, which are used in final application. It also shows the design and implemenation of the final aplication, where used methods for detection and removal of staff lines, detection and processing of musical symbols and their classification are described. The evaluation of the final application and a summary of achieved results are shown in the end of this work.

The Dangerous Method # 19

I'm working with photographs of Sigmund Freud's apartment and creating their pseudo reconstruction. I'm trying through technique of linocut uncover light from black and white photos taken by documentarist Edmund Engelman in Vienna in 1938. I'm revealing volumes of individual fragments, which light falls on. Exposed light I keep for myself, for some melancholy reasons, and store it in glass jars. It is negative and final linocut represents positive. Atmosphere of pictures from Edmund Engelman's book has a big influence on me as well as Robert Longo's cycle Freud Drawings. Their atmosphere is catalyst for my own art solution.

The Spectre Everywhere and Nowhere

Robert Longo got into his hands Edmumd Engelman's photo book and according to these photos he created a series of large-scale charcoal drawings entitled: The Freud Drawings. I got into my hands 10 years old newspapers with article including photos foreshadowing time, atmosphere and personality of Freud and Robert Longo's work. I will create installation using my own means of expression that invites you in the Sigmund Freud's room as I imagine it.
