Family house

The aim of my bachelors project is to design a family house and work out the project documentation. The building lot is located on the border of the Brno´s quarter Žebětín, in the region of South Moravia. The building site with a trapezoid shape is slightly inclined and is not built-up yet. The entrance into the house is faced to the north and the terrace is oriented to the south. The construction is made in the “two by four” system with diffusion-open walls. The building with nearly T-shaped plan is topped with pitched roof. The house has two storey, one of which in the attic space and no basement, a single garage is also included. The house is designed for a four-member family.

Kindergarten

The topic of my diploma project considers a new building for a kindergarten in the city quarter Brno-Bystrc. The building lot where is the kindergarten located is rectangular in shape and is genty sloping. The building consists of a groundfloor only, without a basement and is solved as barrier-free. The kindergarten has 2 classrooms with the overal capacity of 50 children. On the west side of the plot is considered a parking lot for 13 cars, from here there is a sidewalk reaching the main gate and further the main entrance of the building. The structural wooden system use wooden wall panels NOVATOP. The foundation slab from reinforced concrete is layed on a glass foam granulate. The roof is designed as a green flat roof. The building has an atypical layout. The central part is raised and has a hexagonal contour, in its center is located a glazed atrium. On two sides of the hexagon are symmetrically located two more wings, which has a nearly rectangular shape. In front of the building is located a playground, faced to the south.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a dressing table and mirror in which resin will be used in combination with wood.The first part of the thesis will be theoretical, oriented mainly to the dressing table as a furniture element, its history, ergonomics and materials. The second part will be focused on the design of the element itself, material solution and subsequent implementation.

Bachelor thesis is concentrated on analysis of factors that affect gestation length. Gestation length was considerably influenced by the month of conception, month of the birth calves, sex of calves and parity. A significant effect was also recorded for the birth of single and twins, as well as by alive and dead calves. The results resulting from factors affecting gestation length should be given considerable attention regarding the correct determination of the onset of parturition.

Teplice Botanical Garden as a Place of Secondary School's Lessons

This diploma thesis is dealing with the theme of use of the Botanic Garden in Teplice to teach Science - especially Botany at lower-secondary school. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part I'm dealing with mapping of botanic gardens in the Czech republic - mainly focusing on the Botanic Garden in Teplice. In the second part I'm searching for theoretic information to create my own worksheets, and explanation of the teaching method - excursion according to the available specialized didactic literature. In the third part I'm dealing with the analysis of questionnaire and according to the availably gained information with the creation of my own worksheets. After the questionnaire there were nine worksheets with the concrete teaching methodology of botany and methodological worksheets. Afterwards the worksheet called ¨Excursion itself¨ was verified. Altogether nine worksheets with the methodological outcomes were created. The pupils were filling in the worksheets during the excursion and then the pupils' questionnaire was made to gain the feedback. Teplice Botanical Garden as a Place of Secondary School's Lessons

This diploma thesis is dealing with the theme of use of the Botanic Garden in Teplice to teach Science - especially Botany at Elementary School, 2nd grade. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part I'm dealing with mapping of botanic gardens in the Czech republic - mainly focusing on the Botanic Garden in Teplice. In the second part I'm applying my mind to the classification of Botany into the Framework Education Programme and subsequently its covering into the School Education Programme - at the Elementary School Litvinov - Hamr, to be more accurate. One section of the second part contains theoretic information about how to create worksheets and explanation of the teaching method - excursion. I also mention the theory of growing plants in the school parcel. The third part includes my own worksheets. The worksheets were created during the excursion and after it (together with the outcomes). After discussions with different teachers the worksheets with concrete education theme of Botany have been created. Finally there are eight worksheets together with the outcomes. These worksheets were being completed during the excursion and after it since a questionnaire for pupils was made. Diverzita mikrobiomů vybraných druhů ovádů (Diptera: Tabanidae) a její vliv na přenos trypanosom \kur{(Trypanosoma sp.)}

Three different bacterial symbionts have been known from blood-sucking horse flies (Tabanidae), Spiroplasma from family Spiroplasmaceae, Midichloria from family Midichloriaceae and Wolbachia from family Rickettsiaceae. Microbiomes of tabanids has been explored only marginally, therefore in my thesis I explore them in more details. I have described microbiomes of 7 species from Africa, USA and Czech republic, and found them to contain bacteria from families Spiroplasmataceae, Chthoniobacterales, Pseudomonadaceae, Acetobacteraceae, Enterobacteriaceae, Flavobacteriaceae, Staphylococcaceae, Halomonadaceae, Moraxellaceae. In addition, I have studied Trypanosoma´s influence on the compositon to the horse fly microbiome. I have not found significant differences between microbiomes of infected and uninfected individuals, indicating that the presence of Trypanosoma may not have any strong effect on the microbiome.
