Abstract: Effects of ecological and environmental factors on the composition of the microbiome were studied on selected hematophagous arthropods in comparison with phytophagous species. Firstly, I focused on microbiome profiles of Triatoma species from the same locations. Secondly, I focused on possible convergence of microbiome composition among selected hematophagous arthropods from the same habitat.
