Influences of Social Activation Services for Families with Children on the Prevention of Risk Behaviour in Children and Adolescent

The work deals with the role of social activation services for families with children in the prevention of risky behaviour in children and youth. The aim is to explore whether social activation services for families with children have an impact on the prevention of risky behaviour among children and youth. The theoretical part deals with factors affecting the incidence of risky behaviour among adolescents. Most of the attention is paid to the family. The practical part consists of information obtained from employees of various social services in Litomyšl and Ústí nad Orlicí. It is a summary of their ideas and experience in working with families. Value orientations in adolescence and early adulthood

This work handles a topic of values and value orientations. We treat values as one of the issues on a broader field of motivation. From this point of view we placed values in a motivation system pattern. We deal with a more general characteristics of motivation just in order to understand a topic of values. The values and value orientations are elaborated with the help of a number of psychological theories. We are concerned with a developmental traits of values especially in adolescence and early adulthood. The theoretical part is followed on by a concept of psychological research - qualitative and quantitative. The purpose of this project is to get a basic understanding of value orientations among teenagers and young adults and to estimate their moral values and motivation. Volunteering as a tool of social pedagogy

SYNOPSIS The thesis has a form of a theoretical study with significant relation to practice in professional volunteer supervision in Kladno Volunteer Center. The thesis is divided in 7 parts. Part One is focused on the definition of basic terms such as volunteer, voluntary work. This part deals with the issue of awarding of volunteers. Part Two is devoted to the basic terminology of social pedagogy, including the definition of free time, the phenomenon, which is very important for both voluntary work and social pedagogy. Part Three is centered at history of social pedagogy and voluntary work. Key intersections of the two studied phenomena and their evolution are described. Part Four describes voluntary activities as a social phenomenon. Subparts are focused on the attitude of society towards voluntary work, the myths associated with it, as well as the volunteer work motivation. In part Five, I was trying to grasp volunteering as a tool of social pedagogy. The subparts combine my findings acquired from books and my own practical experience. Part Six is an analysis of a specific case of "Pět P" programme practice. Part Seven - the final one - includes a small scale empirical research. Life Goals - An Intergenerational Comparison

This thesis deals with the subject of life goals. It presents selected life goal theories and possible life goal classifications. Attention is also paid to developmental characteristics of life goals in the context of Theories of life-span development. Another related subject is meaningfulness of life - which is closely related to life goals. It outlines philosophical roots of this concept and some psychological theories. The last subject of the theoretical part is psychological construct of well-being, which is presented by selected theories. Empirical part of this thesis is trying to verify the hypothesis that there is a significant difference between the content of important goals of younger and older adults. It also examines the connexion between intrinsic and extrinsic aspirations and Life satisfaction. In order to attain this aim, we used two methods trough two different questionnaires - Satisfaction with Life Scale and Aspiration Index (AI). Samples were made by assessing answers of 962 Czech adult respondents, and the survey packet was distributed to participants online. The relationship of life satisfaction of adolescents to their parents

The bachelor thesis deals mainly with the topic of life satisfaction in adolescence. The thesis defines the concepts of life satisfaction and well-being and summarizes current knowledge and results of life satisfaction research in adolescents. Sources of life satisfaction are listed here. The most important psychosocial changes in adolescence are also listed below. The work also deals with the relationship of parents with adolescent children and their influence on their satisfaction with life in this period. The purpose of this work is to find out if there is a relationship between life satisfaction of parents and their adolescent children. The information used comes from Czech and foreign sources and is supplemented by information from foreign surveys dealing with the life satisfaction of adults, adolescents or the relationship of parents and adolescents. The thesis contains a proposal for research into the relationship of life satisfaction of adolescents aged 15-17 years and life satisfaction of their parents. Quantitative research is proposed and its aim is to explore this issue in Czech. A Cyber-bullying against the Teacher and Possibilities of its Prevention

The bachelor thesis focuses on cyberbullying against teachers a posibillities of its prevention. The first part of the thesis is a literaly review about definition of cyberbullying, specifics of cyberbullying against the teacher and a current occurrence of cyberbullying against a teacher in the Czech Republic and abroad. The next chapter describe posibilities of the prevention for schools and the teachers. The second part of the thesis is a qualitative research project. The goal of the project is to investigate preventive attitudes and approaches of teachers from czech schools in the problematics of cyberbullying. Mediation techniques as a means for resolving intepersonal conflicts

The thesis deals with mediation as a form of conflict resolution, focusing on techniques used by mediators in order to achieve an agreement mutually acceptable to the parties involved. The first part describes the process of mediation - the basic principles, structure, roles and approaches of the mediator, and the discipline is compared with psychotherapy. Subsequently, the work shows chosen techniques used by mediators with particular emphasis on its psychological aspects and research that has been conducted in this field. The empirical part presents a research project proposal, which aims to verify the effectiveness of the given mediation techniques. Long-term effects of parental divorce on offsprings

This thesis deals with the long-term effects of parental divorce, thus exploring how parental divorce in childhood effects the adulthood of an offspring. In the first part of the thesis are defined the types of family, it's fundamental functions, and divorce matters in the Czech Republic. The mechanisms of divorce effects and primary variables most researched in the matter, are also explained. Long-term effects of divorce are analyzed based on current research in the field, which mostly deals with the quality of life of people from divorced primary families. Furthermore, some trends in the changes of the effects of divorce are presented across time, and even directly from the Czech Republic. In the second part of the thesis the proposal of a research is presented. Its goal is to compare adults from divorced and intact primary families, respectively, the differences between the two groups shall be analyzed in relation to sex and age. Significant factors affecting the choice of partner during adolecence

In the period of adolescence there is a considerable social development. Relationships with parents and relationships with peers are transformed. First romantic partnerships are formed. These usually form within the context of a peer group, in which the relationship is shaped and further developed. Romantic relationships in adolescence are considerably variable in terms of the age, at which they first arise, the duration and the degree of intimacy and commitment. The closest social circle of an adolescent plays significant part in choosing a romantic partner. Within the family adolescent's attachment style is formed, which is important for the development of other relationships. Being in a romantic relationship affects individual's social status within the peer group. When choosing a romantic partner it is also important to consider adolescent's preferences about the characteristics of their potential partner. In a part of research proposal is presented a project of qualitative character. It aspires to create an anchored theory of preferences of Czech adolescents regarding their ideal and contemporary partner and the transformation of these preferences depending on the age and experience. Children at Risk - Identification of Risk and Protective Factors

This bachelor's thesis consists of mapping risk and protective factors to which children are exposed in the family where they are growing up and which can affect the child either immediately or after longer time and can influence the following development of the child. The theoretical part of the work describes selected important factors and their influences which are divided according to their relation to the family structure, stability, or functioning. The proposal of the research project focuses on the comparison of children coming from families with married and unmarried parents and examines if the wellbeing of children coming from unmarried parents is worse than wellbeing of children coming from married parents.
