Mobile Application for Scheduling Activities at Summer Camps

The main goal of this thesis is to design and implement a mobile application assisting in scheduling activities at summer camps taking into account the preferences of camp participants. This is done in a way that ensures the minimization of conflicts with respect to user-defined constraints. QR code scanning is used as an effective method of data input. The main process of finding an optimal solution is formalized as a graph colouring problem and is implemented using the branch and bound method. The created system does not require any other device for its functioning, all the necessary calculations are being executed on a mobile phone of the user. This system has significantly accelerated and simplified the process of scheduling activities at summer camps.

Polyfunctional Building

Diploma Thesis „Polyfunctional building“. The work deals implementation project of polyfunctional building in Jihlava. Object is situated on Jihlava suburb in emerging part called „Horní Kosov“. Land is gently sloping from west to east. It continues for Buková street. The building has six floors and a basement. The basement is made from monolithic reinforced concrete. It is used as garages. Floors are made of ceramic bricks with isolation . First floor contains four commercial premises and main entry for housing part. Seventeen flats are situated from second to sixth floor. Sizes of apartments are 1+kitchen corner to 4+kitchen corner with terraces and balcony. Roofing is solved with simple flat roof. Heating will be ensured with central heating. Every apartment, commercial premises, shared premises are going to have it’s own gas boiler. Polyfunctional building is connected on a local road – Buková street, which is connected to new communication. Within multifunctional building twenty parking slots is designed at the basement. Next fourteen parking slots is designed outside.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the monitoring principles of the system devices in the environment of the Microsoft Windows Operating System. The emphasis is placed on the system services and functions which are utilizable for the system resources monitoring. Some aspects related to their functioning are discussed and specified. The implementation part is represented by an application for the system monitoring based on these services and functions. The evaluation of the work and a possible extension is mentioned in the conclusion.

The topic of this bachelor´s thesis is new building multifunctional family house and it contains complete documentation for the execution of the project. The house is situate in the district of Pardubice in the town Přelouč. House is designed for four people and it is solved as a two-floor, it is also connect with a projection office. A building is designed as a brick building. Vertical and horizontal construction are designed from constructional system POROTHERM. Family house and projection office are covered with gable roof. Whole building is cellarless.

This thesis is focused on the phenomenon of former decade which is called cryptocurrency and compare it on the basis of historical context with a regular currencies that are among us and decide if it is comparatible with a classic kind of money that we usually use in our daily life or not at all. Firstly I will describe the definition of term money and the combination of its features with its functions included and also the view of money as the key instrument in global politics. The following part where is situated a comparation of development of the regular currencies and the first generation cryptocurrencies, their mechanics and the future possible development of cryptocurrencies 2.0 with an answer on the question if the cryptocurrencies are comparatible with the original model of money circulation or if its bubble that will burst. At the end is found possible direction of cryptocurrencies that could lead to the agreement among finacial institutions to consider cryptocurrencies as a regular payment method through a simulation of world cryptocurrency named WAT which would be released by World Bank. The differences between using mythological archetypes in the news of public and commercial television Ondřej Holub Media studies Abstract The bachelor thesis named " " first gives the explanation of the terms "myth and mythological archetypes" and then it focuses on various aspects of using them in the news broadcasts as well as on various kinds of approach to classical elements of mythical character which occur in news contents and news stories where reality is combined with myth, in general. The mythological archetypes mentioned in specialist literature are then extended by the comparison with examples from traditional - especially Germanic and antique mythologies. Further on the thesis also deals with the mechanisms by which myths are used to help reflex, legitimise and fix the social order and the illusion of its meritocratic character. The conclusion is preceded by the chapter analysing the use of archetypal formulas, which have their roots in the traditional mythology itself, in the two most popular news broadcasts in the Czech Republic. Accounting and Tax Frauds from Comparative Perspective of Czech and American Law and Practice

This diploma thesis entitled Accounting and Tax Frauds from Comparative Perspective of Czech and American Law and Practice analyses accounting frauds and tax frauds in the Czech Republic with added comparative aspects from the US. The purpose of the thesis divided to 6 chapters is to provide a complex and comprehensive analysis from the perspective of accounting, legal and justice system and police investigation and to propose original policy solutions how to improve combating this sophisticated economic criminal activities. This thesis is grounded in an interdisciplinary context and applies economics, taxes, accounting, law, criminology and forensic science. It also combines theoretical background with practical case study analysis. Stemming from the case study analysis and the comparative perspectives from the US, this thesis proposes practical solutions proposals for the police work. One of the common features of both Czech and the US system is the essential role of experts. The added value of this thesis includes 10 different proposals in the legislative, institutional, informational and practical police area, such as establishing special police unit tasked with accounting and audit frauds, protection of whistleblowers, more severe punishments, uniform tax software and electronic evidence, better coordination between police and the tax authorities, improving the education of policemen in the economic, tax and accounting area, cooperation with academia and police internships of economics students and also enhanced international cooperation. One cross-cutting finding is the absolute necessity of close and long-term cooperation and coordination between police, judiciary, tax authorities and academia, sharing knowledge, information and know-how and critically analysing recent trends and practical issues. That is the only way how to effectively improve the fight against this complex white-collar crime.
