Conditional discontinuance of criminal prosecution and settlement in prosecutorial practice - comparison At the outset, the first chapter outlines the possible alternatives in criminal proceedings and describes the principles of restorative justice. Following this, the thesis also elaborates on alternative sentences and alternatives to punishment, focusing on diversions. This thesis deals mainly with two diversions in criminal proceedings, which are conditional discontinuance of prosecution and settlement. These diversions are defined and compared using the method of literature search. The second chapter is devoted in detail to the legal conditions for the application of the CDCP. In particular, it discusses in more detail the concept of the offence, the circumstances of the accused's confession and his consent to the application of the CDCP. This chapter also discusses the obligation of the accused to compensate for the damage and to hand over the unjust enrichment and, last but not least, a part is also devoted to the specification of when the application of the CDCP can be considered a sufficient solution. Development of the relationship between mother and child during pregnancy and early postpartum period

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the formation of the mother-child relationship (bonding) during pregnancy and early postpartum period. The aim of the work is to explore the factors influencing this relationship and its significance for the child's further development. The literature review is divided into five chapters covering research and theoretical approaches in the field of bonding. The first chapter deals with the definition of the term bonding and its early research. The second chapter describes the formation of bonding during pregnancy and focuses on factors that influence bonding during this period, including factors such as hormonal changes and stress. The third chapter deals with the influence of childbirth on the bonding formation. The fourth chapter describes bonding formation in the early postpartum period and focuses on factors such as early contact and care for the newborn in relation to bonding. The final chapter focuses on the factors influencing bonding from the mother's perspective. The empirical part of the work presents a research proposal that focused on identifying different trajectories of bonding and analysing factors such as partner support and social support that influence the mothers` belonging to a particular trajectory. The Persistence of Human Polyomaviruses

Despite years of research, even the most scrutinized Polyomaviruses - BK and JC - have not yet been thoroughly understood. With a number of new Polyomaviruses - KIV, WUV, MCV, HPyV6, HPyV7, TSV and HPyV9 described in the past few years, the need to understand how Polyomaviruses operate in their hosts has become even more urgent. The probable route of transmission appears to be either respiratory or faecal-oral. The initial infection occurs most likely in the early childhood or early-adolescence and is followed by a life-long persistence. The seroprevalence of Human Polyomaviruses among healthy adult population is high: BKV (81-97 %), JCV (35-69 %), KIV (55 %), WUV (69 %), MCV (25-46 %) and TSV (70-80 %). Human Polyomaviruses can cause fatal diseases in immunocompromised patients. The site of persistence in humans probably varies depending on the specific Polyomavirus. BK and JC are known to persist in kidneys and the urinary tract. Human Polyomaviruses have been detected in the lymphatic tissues, blood, respiratory, urinary, and gastrointestinal systems. It is not clear, however, if they persist in all of these sites. Bioenergetic Analysis and its Application in Physiotherapy

Title of Diploma Thesis: Bioenergetic Analysis and its Application in Physiotherapy. Purpose: To evaluate bioenergetic analysis from the point of view of the physiotherapist and suggest the application of the whole method or some of its components in physiotherapy. Methods: Thesis is conceived as a theoretical work, was based on the literature retrieval of the accessible relevant literary sources. Literature, pressed and electronic monographs, textbooks, professional journals was derived from the professional medical databases, bibliographical databases, library catalogues, were used also sources from the specialization of psychosomatic medicine, psychology, kinesiology. The obtained knowledge was analyzed from the point of wiev of the physiotherapist with the goal to suggest the application of the method or some of its components in physiotherapy. Results: The possibility of the application of the bioenergetic analysis and the therapy as a complex in physiotherapy turn out to be inconvenient. The possibility of the application of the components of the bioenergetic analysis and the therapy seems to be suitable. Development of nanochemical tools targeting receptors in the tumor microenvironment Targeting the receptors in the tumor microenvironment is crucial for the future development of targeted therapies, precision medicine and immunotherapy of cancer. The options available now are, however, limited by the availability of specific ligands. The advances in the field strongly rely on the use of antibodies and genetic modifications of immune cells. Availability of small molecules targeting the receptors of interest would allow further development of alternative strategies as well as deepen our understanding of the underlying mechanisms of cancer development, progression and clearance. In the search for new small-molecule ligands and their use for receptor targeting, the prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) and the immune receptors CD3 and CD64 were selected as model targets. The selected method - the phage display of bicyclic peptides - utilizes chemical modification of the displayed three-cysteine peptides to achieve their cyclization and formation of bicycles. The panning of a peptide library displayed on the phages and probed with PSMA revealed a reproducibly-selected amino acid sequence. Interpersonal communication language in new media

The central theme of the thesis is the impact of the new media on interpersonal communication of common life. The thesis is divided into two basic parts - theoretical part and empirical part. The first chapter of the theoretical part is focused on history and fiction of media, it is concerned with new media and their possibilities and also with media science and medial education, which deal with media data and their influence. Second chapter represents the theme Language and communication, is concetrated on transformations of language in new media communication. The empirical part of the thesis presents research project itself and analysis of survey results, which was used for collecting of information. The conclusion of the thesis is focused on the evaluation of the empirical part and the thesis itself.

Chemically modified Murine Polyomavirus-like particles and their interaction with Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA)

Prostate cancer is one of the most abundant types of cancer among men and the demand for a specific treatment is very high. In this thesis, I have focused on using Glutamate Carboxypepti- dase II (GCPII), as a target for a proof-of-principle delivery system. GCPII is a transmembrane protein that internalizes after a binding of a ligand and is overexpressed in prostate cancer. Virus-like particles from Murine polyomavirus (VLPs) are a suitable nanocarrier for the delivery of imaging agents and drugs. Here I describe modifying these VLPs with inhibitors of GCPII and fluorescent dyes and characterize their binding to GCPII on surface plasmon resonance and to cells expressing GCPII on confocal microscopy. VLPs carrying a GCPII inhibitor show specific binding to GCPII on surface plasmon reso- nance, however they bind non-specifically to cells that don't express GCPII. Several approaches have been tried to avoid that. The substitution of BC loop on the exterior surface of VLPs that is partially responsible for the binding of sialic acid did not seem to affect specificity on cells.
