Volunteering on sport event- Olympic Parks 2016- 2018

Title: Volunteering in a sports event - Olympic Parks 2016-2018 Objectives: The main objective of this thesis, based on the research of the development of volunteer satisfaction rate of cooperation with the Czech Olympic Committee, is to provide specific recommendations for improving the cooperation between these parties. The research will focus on the cooperation between COC and volunteers within the events of Rio - Lipno 2016 and PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Parks. Methods: The research was implemented using qualitative and quantitative methods. For the quality of the data an interview with the main volunteer coordinator, Tomáš Mirovský, and the observations in the natural environment of the events were conducted. The author participated in this sporting event as a volunteer. She represented an equal member of the group. As the observer was in the position of participant of the team, the other co-workers were informed about her true identity. The quantitative method was implemented through paper and electronic questionnaires. Results: The research results showed that the development of the satisfaction rate of volunteer cooperation with the Czech Olympic Committee improved in 2018. Volunteering as an allocation of human resources in sports organizations

Title: Volunteering as an allocation of human resources in sports organizations Objectives: The objective of the thesis is to recommend the most suitable Belbin roles for job positions in sports organizations based on knowledge from research and literature. Methods: The thesis uses qualitative and quantitative research. Qualitative research will take place in the form of dialogue and subsequent discussion of the Focus Group with representatives of sports organizations. 9 respondents will participate in this group discussion. Quantitative research is conducted among volunteers in sports organizations through electronic surveys and the Click4Survey tool. The Belbin test is part of the questionnaire survey. The questionnaire survey includes a sample of 305 respondents. Results: The results of qualitative research show that the positions offered to volunteers include the positions of administrative worker, assistant, supervisor, organizer and coach. The results of quantitative research show that the most represented role in volunteers, according to Belbin's typology, is the role of the Implementer. Marketing mix for sport studio

Title: Marketing mix of sports studio Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current marketing mix of the GoMango sports studio. The data gathered from the analysis are used to suggest posible adjustements of the present marketing mix to atract more customers. Methods: In this thesis the evaluation of the present marketing mix was conducted through the marketing research. Both quantitative and qualitative methods were used. For the quantitative part semi-structured questionnaire was used. For the qualitative part informal interview was conducted with the manager of GoMango studio. In order to identify potencial strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats SWOT analysis was carried out. Results: The evaluation of the marketing mix of the GoMango studio was very positive. The outcome of the reseach indicated that only a couple of changes in certain areas are needed. Changes of the following elements of the marketing mix were proposed: product, promotion, process and presentation. As for the part of product the studio was suggested to increase frequency of highly attended group fitness classes and to decreace frequency of the less attended ones. Title: Wilson Tennis Center Marketing Activities and Their Innovative Approach Objectives: The objectives of my masters thesis is giving the suggestions for improving the company current situation for the upcoming years, based on information from my analysis. Methods: Methods of my approach to this research were analyzing the data from my quality research, identifying the strentghts and weaknesses of the company. Based on these methods I suggested these major improvements fot the overall improvement of the company situation. Results: The research has shown that the biggest strenghts of Wilson Tennis Center are: advanced material equipment and large spacious facility, well air - conditioned solid structure building of the tennis facility, high number of tennis courts etc. The most common weaknesses people in my research were mentioning were the overall attitude of the restaurant staff, lack of social and sports events for the overall client base - recreational client and kids, lack of well, propriately a sufficiently illuminated courts. The main suggestion from me is to create a new public relations manager position who would be able to and responsible for the new changes to be implemented. Consumer preferences of adolescents in the field of sports nutrition

Title: Consumer preferences of adolescents in the field of sports nutrition Objectives: The objective of this work is to define factors that influence the behavior of adolescent consumers during the process of purchasing sports supplements. Methods: Data were obtained through quantitative research. Specifically, the method of electronic questioning was used for this work. Subsequently, a statistical evaluation of collected information was performed. Results: According to results of the research dietary supplements are regularly used by up to 75 % of adolescents aged 14-24 years (n = 237). The remaining participants simply do not recognize the need to buy these products or have never even thought about it, hence do not look for them at all. The most popular dietary supplements used by this age group are vitamins, minerals and protein supplements. Adolescents look for them mainly in order to boost their immunity, sports performance and to speed up the regeneration process. On the contrary, the research did not show a significant influence of doctors and other experts on dietary supplement consumption. Young people's consumer behavior is influenced mostly by their immediate surroundings, family, friends or by themselves. Volunteer motivation and care in the RunCzech running events

Title: Volunteer motivation and care in the RunCzech running events Purpose: The main aim of this master's thesis is to find the motives contributing to be a volunteer at the RunCzech running events which are organized by the Prague International Marathon. Another goal is to discover how the organizer takes care of their volunteers, and how the leadership and volunteer coordination really works. Method: For this research on volunteer motivation questionnaires were used in electronic Google forms. The link for this survey was sent via e-mail and shared via social networks. The other methods were structural and semi-structural interviews with two employees of PIM, who are responsible for their volunteers during the organisation of RunCzech running events. The results were analysed with graphs and tables in MS Excel. Results: Based on the results the survey suggests more than half of volunteers are motivated by more than one motive at once. The atmosphere during the events and new experiences are two of the most important motives for volunteers. The behaviour of volunteer leaders also has an important influence on volunteer's motivation. The interviews showed that PIM searches for volunteers primarily from high schools. Research of service quality of selected fitness center

Title: Research of service quality of selected fitness center Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to identify the problematic areas of services provided by the selected fitness center and define specific proposals and recommendations for the management of the organization leading to the improvement of customer service. Methods: Research service quality of selected fitness center was used the modificated SERVQUAL questionnaire for sport services in Czech republic. This questionnaire compares the expected quality of services in an excellent fitness center to the actually perceived service quality in the selected club. The data collection took place in the period from February 2020 to March 2020. Results: Based on the analysis of the service quality, it seems that the offered quality of fitness centre services is at a relatively high level. However, the research also identified some shortcomings in the individual indicators and found room for improvement. According to the identified shortcomings, recommendations and other steps were proposed to the fitness centre, which should contribute to even better services. Competency profile of rhythmic gymnastic coach

Title: The Competency Profile of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to create the competency profile of the rhythmic gymnastics coach from the perspective of current and former rhythmic gymnasts, based on the identification of important competencies that Czech rhythmic gymnastics coaches lack. Methods: The thesis uses qualitative and quantitative methods. According to the expert literature studies, researches and interviews with the qualified rhythmic gymnastics coaches was created a list of four competency groups that should be needed for quality work of rhythmic gymnastics coach. After that current and former rhythmic gymnasts of the senior age category evaluated the importance of individual competencies and assessed the existence of these competencies in their rhythmic gymnastics coaches by electronic questioning. Results: Two theoretical competency profiles of the rhythmic gymnastics coach are created in the thesis, including competencies from all competency groups: personal characteristics, abilities and skills, education and knowledge, other specific competencies. Title: Attitudes and awareness of students UK FTVS about darts Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to find out attitudes and awareness of UK FTVS's students about darts. There are also other goals - testing students's knowledge about darts and description of darts' history and culture. Methods: As far as research, quantitative method of questionare survey was used. Students were asked to answer eighteen questions which were based on operalization and approved pilotage. The other used method was in-depth interview. Topics of the problematics were discused on the basis of half-structured interviews, led by qualified experts. The working out of theorethic part was done by studying of specialized literature and internet pages or articles and also by information from interviews with experts. Results: The survey showed the majority does not understand darts as a professional sport but as a kind of entertaiment, Almost everybody has already played darts and more than half would take part in some tournament. Students seem to have quite good knowledge about darts as well. The results revealed certain interest of students in darts, slightly above-average awareness and mostly positive attitude. Objectives: The main aim of the bachelor thesis is according to found information to define relationship and knowledge about mixed martial arts (MMA) by students of UK FTVS. Methods: Attitudes and knowledge to MMA were found by quantitative method of electronical questioning. The method of document analysis was used to create the theoretical part of the work. Results: According to the research results, men are more interested in MMA than women. Also man fights are being taken more positive than women fights.
