Müller, Pavel ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Basl, Josef (referee)
This thesis is focused on the issue of ensuring sustainable development through ICT, especially focusing on the subsequent use of the theoretical knowledge in the implementation of Green ICT practices in small and medium-sized companies in the Czech Republic (SME). This work aims to achieve five specific side objectives, which are: Theoretical anchoring the Green ICT in relation to SME, the analysis of the potential impact of ICT on environmental sustainability, analysis of the available methodologies and ways of implementation of Green ICT and principles of sustainability, rating of Green ICT steps from different perspectives in order to select appropriate steps for the implementation and subsequent determination of methodical progress with implementing the most Green ICT steps into practice. Reaching these milestones is subsequently indicated achieve the main objective of the paper, which is a specification of a methodological framework for the selection and evaluation of appropriate Green ICT steps and a procedure for its subsequent implementation in practice. The primary tool for achieving the objectives of this paper is analysis of available and adequate current information resources focusing on the Green ICT and sustainable development, which is complemented by the author's expert reviews of Green ICT steps. This paper is possible to divide into two parts. The first part is contents of thoroughly analysis of information sources and based on them is subsequently implemented theoretical grasp of Green ICT. The second part is then specified own benefit of the paper through analysis and evaluation of Green ICT steps, accompanied by their methodology implementation.

Skin tumors are the most common types of tumors in humans. Their incidence is steadily increasing. Increases and mortality, especially in malignant melanoma. Risk factors playing an important role in the development of skin cancer, solar radiation belong. UV spectrum of sunlight is the most important cause of skin cancer. Therefore, the degradation of the ozone layer and the associated increased levels of UV radiation reaching the world so much studied. Among other known risk factors belong phenotype of human acute intermittent sunburn, especially in children and adolescents, increased tendency to form freckles skin after exposure to sunlight and the presence of pigmented nevi. Some people may find a genetic basis. The risk of malignant melanoma is also rising in people who have a history had already been diagnosed with this disease. Significant for the possibility of skin malignancy is immunosuppression. The work is focused on statistical analysis of most of the above mentioned risk factors.

Dynamic assesment - with the emphasis on the approach of Reuven Feuerstein - and its utilization in the area of preschool adjustment
Chuchutová, Kristýna ; Šírová, Eva (advisor) ; Mertin, Václav (referee)
Dynamic assessment constitutes an alternative diagnostic approach, focused on revelation of the tested person's real potential, which is reached and observed via the emphasis on the process of the achievement. It aims at meaningful connection with the intervention that immediately makes use of diagnostic findings to support the development of an individual. This work summarizes essential information about the mentioned diagnostic trend - its characteristic, a definition compared to conventional ways of testing and historical development. It further adverts to possibilities of its utilization, especially in the area of preschool diagnostic and education as an instrument of the prevention of educational and behavioural difficulties during the first years of the school attendance. The main goal of this work is to contribute to an expansion of the dynamic approach, which I consider to be a valuable alternative and/or a meaningful completion of conventional methods of testing.

Monitoring of the bullhead (\kur{Cottus gobio}) in the upper reaches of the river Elbe.
GUČÍK, Michal
Bullhead is common fish of our trout zones of streams and small rivers. It lives in mountain streams or small rivers. It needs clear water with high oxygen saturation. Therefor bullhead is used as a bioindicatorof clear waters. The aim of our experiment was compare the influence of artificial and natural flood on bullhead population in river Labe. Artificial flood was caused by wild water race competition in 2011. There was drained the water reservoir Labská during this event. The observed stretch of river Labe was fished out before and after this competition using electric generator. The fish obtained before the artificial flood were branded and released back to the river. New out fishing was done immediately after the flood. There were counted and measured the fish with or without brands. The same manner was used for obtaining of dates before and after natural flood in 2012. The main result of this experiment is showing the artificial flood is more destructive and dangerous than natural flood. The reason is faster increase and decrease of flow in river during the artificial flood.

Contribution of E. Ostrom focusing on management of public goods
Belinová, Gabriela ; Sirůček, Pavel (advisor) ; Džbánková, Zuzana (referee)
The thesis deals with the contribution of Elinor Ostrom, the Nobel laureate in economics in 2009. Ostrom confirmed that a group of individuals who jointly use a common-pool resource is able to agree on the rules securing the long term sustainability of the resource. This theory was based on her studies of local common property regimes. Common property regime is an alternative to conventional approaches that promote public resource management or transfer to private ownership. It is still not clear whether the possible conclusions which Ostrom reached in the study of systems of common property regimes can be applied to the problems of global scale. Ostrom's contribution lies in her analysis of systems of common property regimes. Partial findings related to human behaviour can be applied to the management of private organizations.

The Cross in Changing of Times and its Significance in Ancient Society
Roule, Radek ; Lášek, Jan Blahoslav (advisor) ; Weis, Martin (referee) ; Royt, Jan (referee)
The Cross in Changing of Times and its Significance in Ancient Society The cross is the most widespread symbol appearing worldwide right from the prehistoric times. Though being formed of a very simple shape of two intersecting lines the significance is far reaching. This dissertation looks at the cross both as a sign pointing beyond itself and concentrates on the diversity of its visual appearance. It tries to trace back the possible factors preceding Antiquity influencing the formation of the actual shape in that particular period of history. Although for most part the cross is understood in its connection with the Crucifixion of Christ its history is far more complex beginning in pre-Christian era. The biblical texts present more or less mere allusions of the cross itself. Seen typologically the cross may be understood as the element connecting both Old and New Testament creating a sort of a bridge between them. The careful analysis of the Early Christian documents brings several terms used for the same reality. The most significant are - σταυρός with the Latin equivalent crux and ξύλου (wood) with the Latin equivalent lignum. Later on these give a way to a more general term of σημεῖον (sign) and finally to a symbolic expression "σύμβολον σωτηρίας" (sign-symbol of salvation). The early Christian writers...

Chemical parameters of surface waters in selected model ecosystems of the cultural landscape.
STRNADOVÁ, Johana
The aim of this study was to determine and compare the concentration of chemical parameters in five streams in Novohradské hory. Individual sampling points were different with their types of ecosystem, management practices, vegetation composition of growth and subsoil. Monitored parameters in forest ecosystems were: conductivity, pH, sulfate and calcium. In agrosystems observed parameters: electrical conductivity, pH, calcium, chloride and nitrate. The collected data generated graphs for the years 2005 - 2010. Based on the results we can say that natural mixed forest resists concentrations of sulphates and prevents the acidification of surface water. In contrast with spruce monoculture where surface water has the lowest pH because the sprice forest captures haigher quantitty of sulphates. Chemistry of water in agroecosystems corresponds to the flow through the landscape, which is used for economic activity. This was most evident in the stream, which in the upper sampling point flows through spruce monoculture and conductivity there was only 65 ?S.cm-1. On the contrary conductivity was substantially higher 175 ?S.cm -1 in the lower sampling point. Conductivity value of stream flowing through wet meadows, was 191 ?S. cm1. The measurement results confirmed that the water reaches the higher conductivity in the managed landscape.
