Genetic Algorithms - Multi-core CPU Implementation

his diploma thesis deals with creating the most universal library of genetic algorithms in C++, as much as possible, implemented with the certain number of universal operators, and then with testing created library on some examples. Library must support multi-core processors, implementation will be done over OpenMP. The library will be tested on three examples in all. The first two examples are mathematical functions, that are used just for genetic algorithms testing. Last problem for test is N-Queens problem. Finally we will use genetic algorithms to try find solution for Eternity II puzzle, there is declared a 2 million bounty for full solution.

Teoretická část práce bude vycházet z dostupné literatury se zaměřením na problematiku lidských zdrojů. V praktické části práce je na základě analýzy práce s lidskými zdroji v dané firmě, budou provedeny návrhy v rovině organizační a metodické pro kvalitní a efektivní řízení lidských, které bude směřovat ke zvýšení konkurenční pozice firmy.
Trends in Recruitment and Selection Employees in Selected Organization

This work explores the trends of selection and recruitment of workers in a chosen company. The bachelor work explores concepts and methods described in literature. Special attention is paid to a selection method of recruitment through internet websites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. This work is focused on the interviews, hire conditions and methods of recruitment. In the next step the work describes the company itself and deals with an analysis of the system of recruitment and selection of employees and research which uses questionnaire with employers and employees. This work also deals with a questionnaire survey from the perspective of the target group and its results are presented in the form of graphs and they are supplemented by verbal comments. According to the research, the employees are satisfied with the system selection and recruitment of workers. But they do not have enough employees and they need at the least one other employees. The final part includes proposed amendments to a recommendation in a selected area. The Bachelor work is focused on recruitment and personal selection in company Larx s. r. o.
Selected issues of the hiring of employees

This thesis analyzes selected issues of the hiring of employees. It is the connection between the uncodified branch of human resources and the labour law generally. This topic is close to everyone because every person sometimes finds himself during the life in the position of job applicant and chooses acceptable employment and also person is hiring by employers. It is neccessary to know rights and responsibilities which everyone has to follow in the process of hiring of employees. The procedure of hiring of employees can be uderstood from many aspects. If we want discusse it closely we must focus on one of them. These selected issues of the hiring of employees are methods of hiring and protection of personal data which is connected by employer with application of methods. The thesis is composed of four main chapters. The first one focuses on legal regulation of this procedure. It includes national, internetional and european regulation. It defines issues which this thesis explains. The second chapter defines and describes the process of hiring of employees generally, what preceded, what it includes and which rules must be kept during the procedure. Psychological testing in personnel psychology: competency-based selection of hospitality leaders

This thesis deals with one of the most debated topics of the Personnel Psychology - the personnel selection. The aim of the thesis is to provide an exhaustive overview of the designing process of the selection procedures with special attention being paid to the various methods of selecting employees. Attention was primarily paid to the effort that the knowledge of the otherwise common methods of selecting employees be put in the new framework and the latest ways of their application. Particular emphasis has been put upon the new approaches to the method of interview, cognitive abilities testing, detection of individual personality at work and new methods in designing assessment centers. An interesting chapter is the use of emotional factors as selection criteria and the application of the attachment theory to work. Considerable extent of the thesis is also devoted to the methods of job analysis and competency modeling, their comparison and applications. Based on the previous theoretical treatise the empirical part attempts at creating a competency model for senior executives in the hotel industry and proposes possible ways of its practical use.

The bachelor thesis deals with the description of the selection process for an academic at the university. In the theoretical part, the reader will familiarize with the personnel activities in the organization, including the recruitment of job seekers, pre-selection and selection of workers. This part of the thesis describes the methods of employee selection and the stage of the personnel selection process. The work also defines a college (university) and specifies an academic worker - a college worker. The research part of the thesis focuses on a detailed assessment of the selection process for university graduates. The research was carried out on a sample of public universities in the Czech Republic. Interviews were held with the staff responsible for the selection process at universities (Personnel Department staff). Further knowledge on this issue was gained through direct participation in the selection process for academic staff taking place at some universities. This bachelor thesis discusses the topic of methods of selection. The aim of the thesis is to provide the summary of methods which are mentioned in professional literature and also methods used by employment agencies. The aim is also to evaluate these methods. The thesis consists of four parts. The first one is devoted to the aims of the thesis and its methodological solutions. The author focuses on the characteristic of process of selection and she also gives readers an idea of concrete methods which are used during the selection in the theoretical part. The characteristic of chosen employment agencies and methods which they use during the selection process constitute the practical part of this thesis. The author evaluates and interprets gained findings in the last part of this thesis.

Recruitment and Selection of Employees in Selected Company

This bachelor thesis concerns about human resource management, specifically focuses on recruitment and selection of employees. The main object of the thesis, regarding acquired knowledge from literature review and empirical research, is to evaluate the process of recruitment and selection of employees in terms of selected company. For this purpose, it is made apparent observation, completed by a survey with the human resource department and managers. Results of analysis of current state are used to find a solution that improves records of candidates and also improves cooperation of human resource department with managers when selecting employees. Another solution aims at students of key areas, from which company is recruiting its own employees. In general, those solutions improve the process of recruitment and selection of employees.
