In my bachelor thesis deals with defining the relationship between the emerging concept of adult education at EU level and the expression of support in the national curriculum of the Czech Republic, response documents and putting into practice on a national scale. The fundamental point I think the concept of the Lisbon process and its implementation at European level. The priority thesis will evaluate the progress of the Czech Republic in accordance with the educational policy of the European Union, mutual compatibility and complementarity of the two concepts of education.
New Challenges for Directors of secondary Schools in the Czech Republic and France - Project management in the sphere of education

This diploma thesis explores the issue of project activity which has become a new challenge for school directors in EU member states for the last few years. The projects not only contribute to the fulfillment of the tasks of the educational process, but also to the development of the school environment. The aim of this thesis is to compare the use of project possibilities within the research sample of directors of secondary schools in the Czech Republic and France. Theoretical background specifies the project and its cycle together with the strategy, tools and subsidy opportunities within the educational and regional policy of the European Union. The empirical part investigates the differences between the activity and success in the use of grant funds within the sample of directors of Czech and French schools and views on the form of international cooperation in the Comenius sub-program of lifelong learning.

European programme Grundtvig as an option of persons' development in adult education

and keywords The thesis "European programme Grundtvig as an option of persons' development in adult education" is conceived as an analytical insight into lifelong learning and education with an orientation on European education programme Grundtvig. The goal of this thesis is to emphasize a significance of the community programme Grundtvig, which support a new European strategy and to point out another option of adults' professional development. This thesis is particularly addressed to a lifelong learning progress in last years and described particular education activities within the frame of Lifelong Learning Programme 2007 - 2013. The main part is focused on the key issues in adult learning. Particularly is focused on current adult education situation in Europe, European Union strategic documents and on success implementation of the lifelong learning concept within particular national politics. At the end are also discussed European structural funds, which represent other possibility of European Union support in terms of adult education. Education in EU Community Programmes

The thesis deals with education in Community Programmes. It focuses on Education Policy in EU and Lifelong Learning Programme which was concentrated on Education and Training in 2007 - 2014. Since 2014 the programme has a new form and a new name, Erasmus+. New programme connects six existing programs into a single framework which covers Education, Training, Youth and Sport. In the final part is presented the practical example of completing funding application form to support projects in the education area. The completed form can serve as a guide for future applicants.
European Union programmes to support student mobility - comparing the mobility of Czech and German students

The bachelor thesis deals with the European Union programmes to support education and mobility, with an emphasis on the most widely used programme Erasmus. The work is divided into two main parts, the theoretical and the practical part. Introduction of the theoretical part is devoted to the education policy of the European Union. It briefly describes the process of creating a European area of higher education, including the development vision for education in Europe by 2020. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with individual programmes to support education and mobility. The practical part deals with the analysis of the development of selected Erasmus indicators in the Czech Republic and Germany. The first phase is devoted to a comparison of student mobility in the Czech Republic and Germany. In the second phase of the practical part there is a comparison of the student mobility on two selected universities ? the University of South Bohemia and the University of Passau. At the end of the practical part there is a presentation of the questionnaire results which was aimed on students of the University of South Bohemia. It explains the disproval of the second hypothesis.
Implementation of EU´s Education policy in the Czech Republic

Thesis describes development and current state of European Union's Education policy. It focuses mainly on Erasmus programme and its implementation in the Czech Republic on example for five universities in Prague. First part describes history of Education policy from EU's establishment to formation of strategy Europe 2020 and it pays attention to authorities and institutions that influence education in the EU. Second chapter introduces Lifelong Learning Programme and other community programmes supporting education. Moreover it deals with operational programmes in the Czech Republic. Third, last one, part focuses on Erasmus programme, its practical use in the Czech Republic, and specifically on five selected universities in the capital city.
Language teaching in the EU

This thesis deals with the language teaching in the European Union. By the representatives of the EU language learning is considered as one of the key areas because proficiency in foreign languages is a prerequisite for the economic growth of the EU and for the flourishing communication. This work follows the development of the European educational programmes which are concerned with the language teaching, describes their goals and structure. Then it mentions the legislation of the EU which encloses this policy. The last part of the thesis tries to say if the strategy in this area is successful. At first it describes the linguistry level in the member states, then it demonstrates how the Czech Republic pursues the aims of the EU and in the end it illustrates how the schools in the South Bohemian Region participate in the educational programmes.
