Construction of Reality in News and Relation with Non-media Reality

The master thesis is concerned with an analysis and a comparison of two realities that, according to the theory explained in the text, are supposed to be different. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical framework through the analysis of the relation between media and reality. Basic approaches focusing on this coexistence through several paradigms, above all social constructivism and social representation, are explained. The theoretical part contains a chapter dedicated to the basics of news and the specificities of the content creation. The practical part of the thesis is first comprised of a definition and of an analysis of the news media reality, based on the declarative statements of its relation to the non-media reality. The same type of analysis is secondly also applied to the non-media or life reality. In order to facilitate comprehension of the topic and of these two realities, the work analyses a case study of a news event. Based on the case study, the practical section leads then to a comparative analysis of the characteristics of both studied realities. The final part suggests the definition of a relation between the media reality based on news production on the one hand and the non-media reality on the other hand. The theme of this bachelor thesis is a study of a new building of a village house in medieval style including interior design. The work is divided into three parts.The first part is a literature search, which is focused on medieval buildings intended for housing and comparison with today's buildings. The second part presents a proposal for a new layout corresponding to today's requirements and a selection of structures and materials that are available on the market and resemble those of the Middle Ages.And the final third part will deal with the processing of the floor plans and views of the house and the creation of the interior visualization.

The Viewing Tower in Brdy

The subjekt of this thesis is a design of a viewing tower located in the area of Brdy. The structure has been created as a 3D model, the internal forces have been calculated with the use o finite element method in a structural engineering software Scia Engineer 15.1. Based on the knowledge of theses forces the design of the structural systems has been done. The materials used on this construction are glued laminated timber and steel. The height of the tower is 25,725 m. The floor plan is a shape of a circle and fluctuating smaller with the gaining height. The main structural systém consists of 8 curved posts which are radiály situated on the circular floor plan. The tower has 3 observational platforms.

Annes, Extension and Building Adjustment of the Building House Neumannova in Brno, Preparation and Realization of Buildings

The thesis deals with the technological stage of the rough construction of the annex and the reconstruction of the apartment building on Neumannova Street in Brno-Pisárky. These are earthworks, rough substructure, rough construction, demolition work, and some of the finishing work. The diploma thesis deals with the design of the work process of the works, the design of the machine assemblies, the studies of the implementation of the main technological stages, the preparation of the budget item, the time schedule, the time and the financial plan of the object, the control and testing plan, the material assurance plan and the transport relations. Further, the design of the building facility is processed and a technical report of the building facility is made.

Sports center

The subject of my master´s thesis is a project of a new sports center in Havlíčkův Brod in Humpolecká street on plot no. 2709/3 and 2709/4. The land is sloping and its area is 14 849 square meters. The building has two overground floors and one underground floor. Vertical bearing constructions are designed from the monolitic ferroconcrete columns. Space between colmuns is made up of ceramic blocks. In the underground floor the space is made up of monolitic reinforced concrete. The vertical peripheral structures are provided with an insulation system with ventilated space. The horizontal bearing structures are designed as a monolitic reinforced concrete slabs. The roof is designed single – layer vegetation area. The roof over sports hall is sloping made up of wooden trusses. In south-eastern side of sports centre is designed restaurant with its technical background. In the underground floor there is relaxation part with swimming pool, saunas and massages. The rest of sports center is made up of technical and hygienic background for visitors and employees, and sports grounds, for example badminton courts, climbing wall, squash courts, fitness and 4 sports rooms.

The subject of my master's thesis is construction technological project of the hall ADS s.r.o. Větřkovice. The work includes technical report of construction technological project, facilities of construction zone, solving traffic routes from the production to the place of construction, study of the implementation of the main technological stages of the building SO02, the most appropriate machine assembly, technological specification for drilled piles and for montage of prefabricated reinforced concrete skeleton, control and test plan, schedule of work, itemized budget, plan of the safety and health protection during work, proposals of design of movement mechanisms and time and financial discretion of realization of the reinforced areas of the production hall area.

Building survey and evaluating the state of construction

This diploma thesis is focused on building survey and evaluating the state of existing constructions. In theoretical part are described the process of evaluating the state of existing constructions and selected diagnostic methods. The practical part is dealing with performed structural and technical survey of industrial object including evaluation of the strength of concrete and verification of the reinforcement. The last part is focused on a static assessment of selected supporting element of the structure.

The analysis of erors in the design of geometrical constructions.

An error analysis that may appear in the process of a design of problems solved by geometrical constructions is shis diplomas subject. The design of the geometrical construction is described as a cardinal part of searching for ideal solving strategy. In the theoretical part of the thesis there are characterized crucial terms related to the subject (geometrical construction, design of a consruction and error in the design), various ways of their defining and diverse approaches to these terms. An experiment exploring errors in a design of a geometrical construction made by second grade pupils of a grammar school with eight-year study program was designed. Construction designs errors were analysed by sorting according to their features and their possible causes were described. Suggestions of error applications in following geometry lessons arise from this analysis. Pupils' constructions of functions using absolute value

The thesis focuses on how students work with the absolute value and on the strategies of students' search for equations from graphs of functions. The aim of the thesis is to describe solution processes and the most common mistakes of students in searching for the equations as well as finding out how students understand the absolute value and how they work with the absolute value in solving the problems. The first, theoretical part, is the analysis of textbooks, RVP and graduations tests on given topics and a summary of selected researches on this topic. The second, research part, is devoted to the description and analysis of own research that was carried out on high school students. The final chapter summarizes the results of the research and compares these results with the theoretical part of this work.
