Consumer Decision Making under Risks

The subject of thesis is to create analyze of the decision-making process of consumers in terms of risk. Readers provide information on ways to eliminate the risk and about which groups of people are seeking risk and how to behave with them. The work include proposals for best practice in selecting insurance and study which focus on players of gambling games.

This thesis is pointed to a modular development of hazard game system. There is one main module in this system, it services gamers database and user accounts. Every game in this system is module pair; first it is game server, it realizes the game, and second client application, it has user interface for this game. Every network communications are realized using my own multi platform network library TCP_Network, and using network protocol for every server.

PERMISSION TO THE OPERATION OF GAMBLING - ABSTRACT This diploma thesis deals with the legal regulation of the obtainment of a permission to the operation of gambling in the Czech Republic. Gambling and the conditions for their operation are currently regulated by the Act No. 186/2016 Coll., on gambling, which was significantly amended with effect from 1 January 2024. The most fundamental changes include the introduction of an initial licence, simplification of the blocking of unauthorised online games and the introduction of other measures for responsible gaming. The introductory part of this diploma thesis deals with gambling operators, individual gambling types, their operation via the Internet, as well as the general legal requirements that gambling operators must fulfil for the legal operation of gambling. The permission to the operation of gambling and the procedures of its obtainment are examined in more detail in the next part of this diploma thesis. In the Gambling Act, the licencing procedure is used in particular, while for some gambling types, the notification procedure is used; none of that applies to the raffle with the game receipts not exceeding CZK 200 000. Social work with clients addicted to gambling

This bachelor thesis deals with social work with clients addicted to gambling. The thesis is theoretical and divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with the definition of addiction, common features of non-substance and substance addiction and symptoms of addictive behavior. The second chapter describes gambling as well as the associated problem of gambling addiction, in other words pathological gambling. It also deals with the types of gambling, online gambling, the effects of gambling addiction and the regulation of gambling in the Czech Republic. The third chapter focuses on social work with clients addicted to gambling. It describes social counseling which aims to stabilize the addict's social conditions, through brief intervention and debt counseling. Another important subchapter is working with the family and strengthening the motivation of addicts.

Alea Iacta Est - Starting Points of The Current Regulation of Gambling with Emphasis on Financial and Legal Aspects of Its Regulation Abstract The thesis deals with the general starting points of the current legal regulation of gambling in the Czech Republic, both from the national and international perspective. In addition to a detailed examination of the fundamentals of the legislation, attention is also paid to selected financial and legal aspects of gambling regulation, especially the area of gambling tax, the tax on winnings, and the matter of use of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology in the gambling field. The thesis consists of three complementary interconnected parts. In the first, interdisciplinary part, the phenomenon of gambling is examined first from the perspective of non-legal disciplines. There are findings from sociology, economics, philosophy, ethics, psychology and there is also a brief look into the history and future of gambling. Interdisciplinary overlap and taking into consideration scientific knowledge from related disciplines is a prerequisite for such a creation of legislation that could achieve the objectives pursued. Generally binding regulations of municipalities in the field of gambling Abstract The municipalities, as basic territorial self-governing communities of citizens, have a number of rights in the implementation of their constitutionally guaranteed right to self- government. One of these entitlements is also the right of autonomous normative formation, ie. the right to issue its own legislation which is in a separate scope of a generally binding regulations. Generally binding regulations are therefore the laws of municipalities, the main purpose of which is according to the provisions of Section 10 of the Act about municipalities regulating local affairs in the form of obligations. The entitlement of municipalities to issue generally binding regulations is anchored directly in the Constitution and is further specified in the Act on Municipalities. However, the enabling provision for the issuance of generally binding regulations is contained in a number of specific legal regulations, among others even in the law on gambling. Pursuant to Section 12 (1) of the Gambling Act, municipalities are authorized in the form of a generally binding regulations to restrict or even prohibit the operation of certain types of gambling regulated by law. Administrative Sanctions in The Field of Gambling Abstract The dissertation "Administrative Sanctions in the Field of Gambling" focuses on the description and analysis of the extent to which the specificity of the regulation of gambling is reflected in the interpretation and application of the administrative criminal law in this sector. In this regard, the main attention is paid to how the principles of administrative punishment are applied in dealing with gambling offences, and this analysis is based mainly on specific administrative rulings of relevant administrative authorities, i.e., the Ministry of Finance and customs authorities. The basic aim of this thesis is to assess how the administrative sanctions are applied in the operation of gambling games from the point of view of fulfilling the basic principles and institutes of the administrative criminal law as well as to evaluate the extent to which the administrative punishment contributes to the fulfilment of the point and purpose of this public-law regulation, that is always with specific cases and situations in which the facts of the case of individual gambling offences are presented. Marketing communication of the betting agency Sazkabet

Title: Marketing communication of the betting agency Sazkabet Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to design a marketing communication, that will help to retain existing customers and to address new ones who belong to target group. Methods: There were used qualittative methods in this thesis. Specifically, there were three semi-structured interviews with employees of the betting office Sazkabet, who work with individual marketing tools. An analysis of texts, documents, websites and social media was also used. Results: The analysis found that the betting agency Sazkabet does not use all marketing tools as effectively as it could. I suggest to the company specific improvements in advertising, sales promotion, digital marketing, influence marketing and sponsorship. Opršálová, P. Financial literacy as a prerequisite for mitigating negative impact of gambling. Bachelors thesis, Brno: Mendel university in Brno, 2017. The work dis-cusses utilization of financial literacy in the gambling industry. The reader is firstly introduced to the concept of financial literacy and its development and level in the Czech Republic. The following part of the thesis deals with gambling in general, the individual games, their history, regulation and possible negative impacts. The core of the thesis is represented by a questionnaire-based survey about the level of financial literacy of gamblers, together with an easily applicable guideline on how to utilize a higher level of financial literacy to avoid a negative financial situation caused by an interest in gambling.
