Light (Magic of Light)
Horák, Ondřej ; Hayek, Pavel (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
The present work deals in one level with the issue of work and laboriousness in the arts and in the second plane perception of reality and its illusion. Here, briefly explains the function of the visual system, leading to the formation of the image, perception of light phenomena and to create visual illusions (ie. Phenomena, when our perception completely does not match with reality), which served as the basis for dealing with the formal aspects of the work.
Calculation and optimization of synchronous servomotor reluctance torque.
Kroupa, Martin ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This work is mainly focused on construction and design simulation of synchronous servomotor. This motor is built by 30 permanent magnets which are attached to rotor and solved in Ansoft Maxwell 14 software. The main purpose was to calculate reluctance torque, which is significant during the motor operational mode and its optimization. Ansoft Maxwell 14 can analyze in 2D mode as well as in 3D mode, for analysis it uses method of finite elements. Subjects can be analyzed in static conditions, or in any way of transient movement. Optimization in 2D, where we will change the shape in the area of air gap, will only be used as revision that the reluctance torque is bounded with this factor. The main simulations were supposed to be done in 3D model, where the role of rotation should have been taken in account to the final result. These simulations were replaced by alternative calculation. On behalf of achieved results, the optional rotation is stated in the end of my work.
Simulation of toroid coils in Ansoft Maxwell 3D
Daněk, Michal ; Pfeifer, Václav (referee) ; Hanák, Pavel (advisor)
The master thesis is focused on the simulation of the toroid coils in Ansoft Maxwell 3D software, which uses finite element method for electromagnetic field simulation. Firstly the process creation of the geometric model toroid coil with seventy-five threaded is presented. It is necessary to debug this model and prepare it for the mesh generation. Physical properties are assign to this model and it gives rise to the physical model. We will set boundaries, excitation current, core material, winding material and the parameters for the mesh generations. New material Kashke K4000 will be created in the materials library and subsequently we will define its BH curve on the basis of datasheet. Analysis is made in two modes. Direct currents (7,5A; 10A; 15A; 20A; 25A) and (non)linear materials are used in magnetostatic solution. Toroid coil is excited by current pulse in transient solution. In Ansoft Maxwell Circuit editor a source which generates current pulse will be created. This excitation will be assigned to the toroid coil as an extern source through a terminal. Core material is linear in the case of transient analysis, because Ansoft Maxwell 3D doesn´t allow to use nonlinear material in this solution. Settings are different in transient and in magnetostatic analysis. End time and time step are entered to solve this task in transient analysis. Time points are entered too. Flux density and electromagnetic field strength are calculated in these time points and later it will be possible to view the results. Calculated fields are shown as the pictures in this thesis. The procedure how to use a field calculator in the postprocessing is given as well. The achievements are summarized in the conclusion.
When reproductive rights are criminalized: cross-border abortions and a case study of the Ciocia Collectives
Catalina, Savanah ; Sokolová, Věra (advisor) ; Helman, Ivy Ann (referee)
This research examines qualitative interviews with three informal feminist collectives: Ciocia Basia, Ciocia Wienia, and Ciocia Czesia. The Ciocia collectives are located in Central Europe, specifically Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic, and work to organize abortions for people mainly living in Poland where abortion access is highly restricted. Every member of the collective is a volunteer and the group does not profit from their activism. While prior research has been conducted on individuals who are forced to travel to receive reproductive care, little current research exists on the abortion organizing groups who assist them in the process. The Ciocia collectives work tirelessly to organize cross-border abortions including arranging accommodation, appointments, funding, translation services, and more. This work poses a unique set of challenges and opportunities which will be further explored. Keywords: abortion, reproductive justice, cross-border abortions, feminist solidarity, borders, boundaries
Drama education as a space for realizing own needs and boundaries.
WALDOVÁ, Veronika
My diploma thesis' topic is "Drama education as a space for realizing own needs and boundaries." The theoretical part of this thesis is devoted to the prevention of pathological phenomena, such as bullying or sexual harassment, which children can encounter with in real life but also on the internet, using drama education, its methods and techniques. The theoretical part also provides important information about these negative phenomena, about the essence of drama education and brings information necessary for understanding the issue. Part of the theoretical part is also the role of the drama education in the comprehensive development of children's personality, the formation of their life opinions, attitudes and values. This also includes the development of emotional and social competences, building and defining own boundaries and realizing one's own needs. The main content of the practical part is the creation of a preventive project regarding bullying, cyberbullying and sexual harassment using methods and techniques of drama education and its application in classes.
Infidel?
Krnáčová, Andrea ; Fajnor, Richard (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
In my bachelor's thesis, I am based on my own memories of my childhood and adolescence, which I spent in the community of Jehovah's Witnesses. I liken individual memories to pieces of concrete furniture from the Kingdom Hall, which I regularly visited. I decided to process this topic using a hanging installation made entirely of polystyrene.
Detection of the border between North and South Europe by using mental maps
ŠTEMBERK, Martin
The bachelor thesis deals with the detection of the borders of North and South Europe by using mental maps. The whole elaboration was created with the participation of nine European countries, which represent Central, Western and Eastern Europe. Altogether, the research involves more than 300 respondents who visit European universities in selected countries. Various display variants, such as line or polygon, were later used to work with mental maps. The work also deals with the centre of Europe and the dominant elements of creating mental maps. The data were processed via ArcGis Pro. The work aims to analyze the results, compare the individual lines and create the borders of North and South Europe. Finally, it responds to the results that are delived from the practical part of the work.
The Reterritorialization of Austrian-Slovenian-Croatian borderlands as a causal impact of the European integration process
Král, Radek ; Žíla, Ondřej (advisor) ; Šmidrkal, Václav (referee)
The submitted thesis "Reteritorialization of the Austrian-Slovenian-Croatian border as a causal impact of the European integration process" analytically approaches the issue of the reterritorialization process within the state-centric, still valid Westphalian system. The topic of reterritorialization is important especially in the context of considering the spatial or territorial impacts of ongoing European integration. This integration can take the form of establishing so called Euroregions or cross-border cooperation. The territorial framework was chosen on the basis that Slovenia is one of the most typical border and contact social areas in Europe. This assumption was subsequently linked to the time perspective, when the above-mentioned three states joined the European Union at almost the same interval. Appropriate choice of territory and time framework in the work is the basis for the analysis of the impacts of the phenomenon of reterritorialization. The analytical part of the work is organized as a discursive analysis of texts whose authors are researchers from the university environment. As members of academia often have a direct impact on the local implementation of cohesion policy, the analysis is complemented with the interpretation of the results of thematic structured interviews. Boundaries between client and social services workers
VLNATÁ, Markéta
This thesis deal with the boundaries between clients and caregivers in nursing homes. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The first part is trying to figure out where the boundaries are between clients and caregivers. It examines what to search for, boundaries and help guides. It also addresses what should be a caring personality and how to approach their clients. In the practical part with the help of questionnaires completed by caregivers try to point out where these caregivers have their boundaries and how you can cope in a given situation.
The boundaries of ecotourism and their crossing on the community in Chambok
Kořánová, Anna ; Kuřík, Bohuslav (advisor) ; Tenzin, Eva (referee)
My thesis focuses on the problems of ecotourism, or more precisely its borders from an anthropological perspective, using example of a typical Cambodian community named Chambok. Based on five months of research, together with ethnographic methods of research I found out that boundaries of ecotourism are complex, multi-layered, problematic and negotiated and also that there are so called "grey zones" encompassing them. It is the conceptualization of these zones and boundaries, which is my contribution to current anthropological debate about ecotourism, which has been largely left out until now.
