The digitization of work in social sciences lessons at high school

The thesis focuses on professional and didactical points of view on digitalization in high school social science education. The aim of the thesis is to create a series of lessons for high schools (grammar schools) based on research on digitalization, which is supposed to aid students in better orientation at the labour market. At the same time, the didactical part is designed to be used and adapted by teachers interested in the topic. The theoretical part presents the professional background of the prepared lessons including key words, corresponding arguments and the general work basis of the author. Professional topics are transformed into a form didactically appropriate at the chosen level of secondary education (grammar schools). The practical part consists of a series of lessons focusing on changes in the labour market related to digitalization and technology development. Individual lessons are dedicated to online sharing economy platforms such as Uber and Airbnb, which change the concept of work in today's society and determine new working conditions of employees. The phenomenon of Airbnb in the Czech setting

The aim of the bachelor thesis "The Phenomenon of Airbnb in the Czech setting" is to analyze the current legislative conditions for short-term rents, for which the Airbnb platform is also used. The first part of the paper provides a summary of the information that is known about the sharing economy, short-term rents, as well as an inventory of the current legislative conditions that concern short-term rents. The second part is devoted to examples of different regulations in European metropolises, where they have already met with the necessity of regulation. This is followed by the dissection of the attitudes of various actors who deal with short-term rents through media analysis.

This BA Thesis deals with the contemporary trends in tourism. The main goal of the thesis is to analyse these trends and to find out the differences in using these trends between citizens of the Czech Republic and citizens of other countries. The issue at hand was researched using a survey. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is dedicated into the first of two chapters, which are indispensable in order to introduce he reader into to the issue of tourism. The practical part aims at the description of contemporary trends in the tree main areas of tourist services: accommodation, transportation and food and beverage. These trends are demonstrated on specific examples of Airbnb, Uber or themed restaurants.
Sharing economy

This master thesis deals with the very topical subject of sharing economy. It`s objective is to prove or disprove the assumption that today`s young people prefer to use sharing economy rather than classic services in different areas and to explore the relationship between students and sharing economy in general. Also to find out what are the key motivation factors and barriers. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part the sharing economy is defined based on technical literature and other sources. Particular models of sharing economy are also described in the theoretical part and demonstrated on real companies. Practical part consists of own market research in a form of survey. The objective of this master thesis is proved or disproved based on data gathered by the survey and secondary sources.
Complex comparison of long-term and short-term letting

The aim of this work is to provide an investor with how to invest in lettings manual. This is done by comparing two types of lettings in several different categories: risk, legal aspects, cost, property management and rate of return. The paper is assuming private investor financing the flat purchase only from equity. Focusing not only on financial aspects, the work intends to provide an investor with a complex decision making tool when it comes to deciding whether to buy and rent out a property in Prague.
The sharing economy, its analysis and influence on tourism

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the impacts of the sharing economy on tourism and on the marketplace. The partial aim is to propose measures which would improve the sharing economy and its operations. The first chapter focuses on tourism, its characteristics, place in the economy and on new trends in tourism. The next chapter presents the sharing economy as a global phenomenon, describes its main characteristics and states the reasons why the sharing economy has developed. Then an analysis follows, firstly of the positive, then of the negative impacts on the participants, tourism and the marketplace. The last chapter proposes regulations which would prevent the negative impacts of the sharing economy.
The impact of sharing economy on consumer behavior in tourism

The thesis concentrates on the impact of the sharing economy on consumer behavior in tourism. The theoretical part focuses on several approaches towards consumer behavior and the importance of mobile technologies for the growth of the sharing economy. The second part later deals with characterization of the sharing economy, determination of the key players and most importantly researches the impact of this phenomenon on consumer behavior in tourism, especially in the area of accommodation and transportation.
Evaluation of Airbnb's Potential and Impact in the Czech Republic

The thesis examines the phenomenon of the sharing economy and the impact it had made over the recent years. As a prime example, the thesis is structured around a recent company, Airbnb. The sharing economy is a relatively new concept which is influenced from the rise use of internet and social networks around the world. Sharing economy is a collaborative system built on sharing of goods and human resources. The thesis also examines the obstacles of legal issues, lack of control and safety. Airbnb is an online platform that connects people to rent their personal space to others for a nightly or monthly price. The website is being used around the world, bringing the concept of building a community and feeling of belonging for some people. A part of this work is also a quantitative content analysis, which compares the Airbnb offers with the offers of hotels in Prague. The research based on prices and users' rating examines if Airbnb is able to compete with established hotels. Although the total number of Airbnb units in Prague is significantly smaller than the number of hotels, the results show Airbnb's high potential in this area. Its advantages are lower prices and excellent rating.
