Reading comprehension of pupils in the second grade of elementary school

The aim of this thesis is to assess the reading comprehension of pupils in the second grade of elementary school. This work focuses on possible existence of differences in reading comprehension of children taught using analytic-synthetic and genetic method. The content of this thesis is also a reading self-evaluation of these students. The theoretical part acquaints readers with the main topics related to the issue, with the help of available literature sources. It focuses particularly on issues of literacy, reading, reading comprehension, reading teaching methods, self-evaluation of reading, reader environment or reading diagnostics. Due to the research goals, for the practical part, quantitative methodology was used. The test battery includes two tests of reading comprehension and self-assessment questionnaire. Examination "We're going on a trip" is taken from a research project Reading comprehension- typical development and its risk. Other used methods are test "Hedgehog" and "Questionnaire reading for pupils in second year". These methods were created under the project Development of the reading literacy competencies in the inclusive education. Comparison of principles and forms of therapeutic communities for people dependent on addictive substances in the Czech Republic (with special focus on spiritual aspects in treatment)

This bachelor thesis deals with types of therapeutic communities for drug addicts in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to map these communities and determine whether or not the treatment provided by them also includes spiritual aspects. Furthermore, if they do, what form they are presented in and what kinds of benefits it Brings for the treatment itself. The paper is divided into two sections - theoretical and empirical. The theoretical section explains terms that are important to get well acquainted with as they are closely related to the topic, such as drug addiction, treatment, communities in general, therapeutic communities and the different therapeutical methods the communities in the Czech Republic make use of. Following is the empirical section that further details goals of the research, the specimen and the research methods. Finally, an important part of this section is also dedicated to the research findings themselves.
The potential of the Center Babylon Liberec for tourism of the city

The theses analyzes the position of the Center Babylon Liberec in tourism in region Liberecký kraj. The first part describes region Liberecký kraj, the condition for tourism and analyze its greatest natural and cultural attractivities. Tourism in region Liberecký kraj is evaluated also in terms of statistics related to tourist arrivals, overnight accomodation, favorite attractivities. Another part is dedicated on the city of Liberec which describes its tourism and favorite attractivities. The key part concerns of analysis of the Center Babylon Liberec in which describes its entertainment and relaxation packages. The Value of the Center Babylon Liberec for inhibitants of region Liberecký kraj was determined on the basis of survey. The aim was to determine the position of the Center Babylon Liberec among other favorite attractivities of Liberec, how often it is visited by inhibitants of Liberec, what they lack there and what they would propose to improve in this entertainment center. According to the survey was created SWOT Analysis Center Babylon Liberec.
Tourism analysis of selected city (Liberec)

The main aim of this bachelor work was to evaluate tourism in Liberec. Summary of atractions, town tourism, infrastructure analysis, tourism institutions analysis and visit rate analysis were created for the evaluation. The tourism potential of the city in tourism developement was evaluated and some deficiencies have also been established in tourism development for which it was proposed some solutions to improvement.
