Water rescue sport and competitions in Czech Republic

This bacherol thesis deals with the history od water rescue service both in the world and in our country. It also describes the development of water rescue as a sport in the Czech Republic and it describes its competitions and disciplines as well. The work is divided into several parts the first of which is concerned with the history od developement of swimming and water rescue service worldwide and in the Czech Republic. The next part describes the developement of water rescue as a sport in our country until 1989 and the last one deals with the period after 1989 including the new ILS rules which are used in some competitions in our country. The disciplines I have chosen to determine the relative performance are: long jump and 60 meters sprint. In the theoretical part there is a description and analysis of these sports disciplines. In the practical part there is a measurement of pupils' performances in that two sports disciplines and creating a dependency relationship between them. Design a training diary for swimmers.

The theme and objective of this work is to propose a training diary intended for the documentation in swimming training. The theme of the theoretical part briefly describes the characteristics and structure of the swimming and swimming performance. Also the history of swimming and its development, in both the world and our country, is described there. Similarly, a general training, its rules and an annual training cycle is discussed there. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with training methods in competitive swimming and its historical development. The research part of this work largely discuss the ways of documentation of the swimming trainings. In particular, it deals with the research training sheet developed by swimming coach Ing . Jaroslav Strnad. Furthermore, there is an analysis of the three training diaries which are currently available on the market. These are examined for their suitability for recording swimming trainings. Finally, there is a suggestion of training sheet provided for swimmers and their training diaries.

Doping and doping controls in different sports

Sport as a kind of physical activity should, above all, be a way of entertainment for people. However, one cannot forget to mention the other aspects, which sport provides to people, whether from the point of view of health or psychology. It particularly concerns the improvement of both physical and mental form, prevention against health problems, relaxation, improvement of communication, cooperation etc. Sport has become a phenomena of these days. Shining careers, tremendous popularity and last but not least sometimes huge amounts of money offered to the best sportsmen lead to swindles as a matter of course. Nowadays, the desire for success can overcome the limits of fair play, and therefore a lot of sportsmen tend to the use of illegal aids in order to have an advantage over their rivals. In spite of that, doping is not the term only connected with top-performance sports, but also with recreation sports. Dope substances are used on all sporting levels at the present. The main aim of this work is to introduce readers to the problems of using dopes and their detection. The work describes the ways in which doping checks proceed, and in which sports and on which levels doping checks can be anticipated. Teaching children the freestyle swimming stroke

The aim of this study is to compare two groups of children both practicing the freestyle swimming stroke. One group attended the Juklík swimming club from an early age and the second group attended swimming lessons provided through primary school. An integral part of this study was to compare the teaching methods, preparations and objectives used in the two models. Results of these observations are displayed in the form of graphs based on the results of an identical swimming test.
