Education and Professional Development of Employees in a Control of Career

The thesis analyzes the issue of training and development of employees in career management, which is an integral part of effective personnel management. The text focuses on a career orientation in terms of individual's personality, attention is paid to career personality type, career movement and individual's career development. An important and often essential aspect of every career is a continuous education and human development, which this thesis deal with in detail. This thesis describes educational and development activities, trends in a company education, career management scheme, its context and planning of employees training. A part of this thesis is empirical research connecting topics such as career, employees education and career development.

Image of far-rigt in the Czech media in 1990's

This diploma thesis analyses the media image of political party Sdružení pro republiku - Republikánské strany Československa (SPR - RSČ, The Union for Republic - Republican Party of Czechoslovakia), and the media discourse in 1990s. The thesis is focused on analysis of electronic media such as radio and TV talk shows. The time period of the analysis was chosen to capture the period when this political subject was active on Czechoslovak and later on Czech political scene, i.e. 1990-1998. The author discusses the development of the political communication of the party representatives (most of the space is dedicated to media appetence of SPR - RSČ president Miroslav Sládek) and the general political communication in mass media. The goal of the thesis is to analyse the comparison of the media appearance of the party members during the eight years from when the party entered on political scene to its political decline in June 1998. Education as an instrument for improving the quality of life of elders in the context of social care

- 5 - SUMMARY This thesis is dedicated to the assessment of the current state of education and care for the elderly, and outlines ways to improve care through education and, ultimately, to achieve life satisfaction of seniors. The thesis is written in the form of a comparison of scholarly sources dealing with the education and care of the elderly, and the current legislation of the Czech Republic. The thesis also includes an empirical study which draws on a quantitative questionnaire survey in a selected nursing home. This investigation aims at further education of the elderly and its effect on life satisfaction of population in this age group. Key words: Old age, aging, older adult, elderly education, social services for the elderly.

Analýza trhu práce v ORP Veselí nad Moravou

This thesis analyzes the labor market in the administrative districts of municipalities with extended competence Veselí nad Moravou in the period 2001 to 2011. In the analysis came selected indicators of the labor market, emphasis was placed on the unemployment rate, the economic activity rate and the number of job applicants per one vacancy. MEP was analyzed as a whole and then the individual municipalities were divided into clusters using cluster analysis.

The potential use of the family farm in South Bohemia for agro-tourism

The thesis deals with the potential use of the family farm for agro-tourism. The family farm is located in the region of South Bohemia. Therefore there is assessment of the potential of this region for tourism and for agro-tourism. It is also described how the property could be used for the needs of accommodation services. The last but not least is an analysis of the nearest competitors. For the overall evaluation is used method of the SWOT analysis.
