Elaboration of documentation of the actual construction of the railway construction in the context of BIM
Vystavěl, Ondřej ; Raška, Jakub (referee) ; Bureš, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with the creation of the geodetic part of the as-built documentation (G-DSPS) of the Reconstruction of the Šumice stop and the process of its reworking into the Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment. The first part of the thesis deals with the creation of the G-DSPS according to the standardised internal regulations of the Railway Administration (SŽ). The second part of the thesis deals with the conversion of the G-DSPS into the BIM environment. The form in BIM is currently in a nascent state for transport constructions, therefore it was necessary to analyse the current state from available information, especially from documents and webinars of the State Fund for Transport Infrastructure (SFDI) and training courses of the Railway Administration. Some of the options analysed for this transfer were tested using G-DSPS data. The result of the thesis is a developed G-DSPS according to the valid regulations of the Railway Administration and its subsequent transfer to the BIM environment. The most important finding of the thesis is that this conversion is possible, but currently highly inefficient with a lot of technical pitfalls that will need to be resolved by the time the procurement process in BIM is launched.
Between High Culture and the Working Class: Typographical Communities in Leipzig, Vienna and Prague (1840-1914)
Raška, Jakub ; Štaif, Jiří (advisor) ; Fasora, Lukáš (referee) ; Pokorný, Jiří (referee)
I have chosen the typographic communities in Leipzig, Vienna and Prague as the basic material for the following doctoral thesis. I will use their examples to trace, in a transnational perspective, the broad theme of the transformation of workers' collective identities, ideas and strategies in an era of fundamental technological, economic, social, political and cultural change from the end of the pre-March period to the beginning of the First World War. My aim is to combine the tradition of methodologically informed labour history of the last sixty years or so with the narrowly conceived trade union history of a small elite field that has a long tradition among typographers. I frame the general theme of the thesis as the formation of collective identities of manual workers in modern times, which I will here view as a precondition for the collective strategies and practices of negotiation that will also be analyzed. This will involve a synchronic analysis of the changes that have affected society as a whole with the changes in typographers' own self- reflection. An important theme of the following work will also be the exploration of the tension between the consciousness of belonging to the working class and the status consciousness that was particularly strong among typographers. Personally, I see...
Between art and the class struggle. The collective identity of typography workers n the context of 19th century sociocultural changes
Raška, Jakub
This study aims to link the cultural history of early industrialization with the beginnings of the labour movement, exploring the changing collective identity of printers and typesetters, both elite and elitist skilled print workers, at a time of basic social change. Due to their proximity to written culture, typographers were the first manual workers to take up the pen and themselves reflect on the changes in their position. The source material consists of Czech and German texts from the latter half of the 19th century. In order to compare typographers’ changing identities, texts and conditions from the Early Modern period are also examined. In addition to texts written by typographers, an examination is also made of typographic association activities and typographers’ strikes, as typographers’ identities increasingly changed.

Poverty, Pauperism and Social Question as Public Discourses in the Habsbburg Monarchy in the Era "Vormärz" and Revolution of 1848/1849
Raška, Jakub ; Štaif, Jiří (advisor) ; Petrbok, Václav (referee)
(in English): This paper deals with early views on industrial pauperism in texts intended for a public reading in the western part of the Habsburg monarchy during the pre-March period (here 1830-1848) and at the time of the revolution in 1848-1849. The main observed phenomenon is the dynamics of social and political imagination of the Austrian society in a relation to structural processes of European modernization. On two basic areas, journalism and literature, it explores development of views on the mass poverty from the general romantic rejection of modernization process to the proposals for solutions of the social question, which were formulated on the basis of affiliation to any political camp, for example, education by liberalism or the welfare state by socialism. The work does not deal so much with a thinking of big personalities of social theory, but rather focuses on the everyday negotiations dichotomy of "old" and "new", which was led by nowadays more or less forgotten authors.

Value System at Teaching of the Normal school in Prague at the Turn of 18th and 19th Century
Raška, Jakub ; Tinková, Daniela (advisor) ; Pokorná, Magdaléna (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the Normal School in Prague, which was after the introduction of theresian General School Regulation (1774) a pattern for the lower education in Habsburgian Bohemia. For this reason, its teaching methods and distinctive value system could be understood as a norm for other lower schools in the Czech inherited land. The first chapter contains an overview of the development of the lower education from educational reforms of Maria Theresa to educational laws of Francis II. in the early years of the 19th century. In the second chapter, the author of this paper tries to show the ways in which the state-enlightenment school discourse puts emphasis on the connection of the state and the school on the basis of four texts by various authors, who had large participation in promoting the school reform in the Czech lands or were directly connected with the Prague Normal School. The last chapter, based on period theoretical texts on education, textbooks and sources compiled by the school, describes the school (= state) vision of the perfect man and his upbringing. Key words: Normal School in Prague, Bohemian Enlightenment, dawning of the modern state, etatization, value system, Alexius Pařízek, Ferdinand Kindermann, Maria Theresa, Joseph II
