The relationship between maternal anxiousness, sensitivity and their children's coping mechanisms in stressful events
Lindovská, Terezie ; Šivicová, Gabriela (advisor) ; Panenková, Erika (referee)
The aim of this bachelor's work is to propose a study, which explores the degree of the relationship between maternal anxiousness, sensitivity and their children's coping during the preoperative period. The literary part defines anxiousness and associated terms, other psychopathologic signs in mothers and their impact on the children's life, it also describes the development of a maternal attachment and its connection to maternal sensitivity. There are also mentioned factors, which can affect anxiousness or sensitivity in a specific stressful event (preoperative period) within the mother and the child. In the end a quantitative, exploratory study is proposed, which uses questionnaires to look into the degree of maternal anxiousness and the parental sense of competence as a sensitivity aspect in mothers, as well as the degree of preoperative anxiety in children, with the use of an observational method. Keywords maternal anxiousness, attachment, coping, preoperative period, preoperative anxiety
Development of a screening tool for cognitive impairments in older persons
Panenková, Erika ; Šípek, Jiří (advisor) ; Jarolímová, Eva (referee) ; Kulišťák, Petr (referee)
Development of a screening tool for detection of cognitive impairment in older persons Mgr. Erika Panenková Abstract Cognitive disorders are the most common psychiatric disorders in the elderly, while the prevalence in the population increases with age. Early detection of people at risk of dementia syndrome or mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is the basis for earlier pharmacological and non- pharmacological interventions. However, it is necessary to have a sufficiently sensitive screening tool to screen the cognitive status of the elderly over 60 years. This study focuses on the development and standardization of the screening test - the NANOK screen. With an average administration time of 3 minutes and 27 seconds, this tool will be used as a sufficiently reliable and valid tool for the use of general practitioners, neurologists, geriatrics, as well as clinical psychologists and psychologists in social services. In the research we offer a description of the development of the method (N = 540), a study on a healthy population (N = 187) and a clinical population (N = 97). The results are percentile norms and cut-off scores for different diagnostic situations: differentiation of the healthy population from a population with dementia syndrome and MCI; differentiation just MCI or just dementia syndrome. Since the...

Connection between sleep and memory consolidation in elderly people with and without cognitive impairment
Krejčová, Marie ; Kulišťák, Petr (advisor) ; Panenková, Erika (referee)
This thesis focuses on a connection between sleep and memory consolidation in people older than 55 years with and without cognitive impairment. The theoretical part discusses how sleep changes during aging and what influence these changes could have on cognitive functions (memory etc.). In a long-term perspective, sleep could play a role in a gradual decline of cognitive functions. Thus, modern researches focus on multifactorial causes of neurodegenerative diseases. These studies include those that examine a relationship between quality of sleep and cognitive functions. For better understanding this topic, these researches are described in this paper as well. In the second part of the thesis, a research design is outlined, which could clarify the relationship. It is examined by comparing memory consolidation of people older than 55 years with and without cognitive impairment. It is considered by amount of remembered material during a day/night. The study might discover, whether sleep disorders could play a role in the decline of cognitive functions during aging.
Means of cognitive screening methods in the elderly
Bartošová, Martina ; Panenková, Erika (advisor) ; Kulišťák, Petr (referee)
This Bachelor thesis deals with cognitive functions of the elderly and the options of screening examination of these functions. The goal of this thesis is to describe and compare the most used screening tests in the Czech Republic and their practical aspects. The literary overview part describes the current elderly population and shortly characterizes cognitive functions with focus on their changes due to normal ageing. It then goes on to differentiate between screening and complex neuropsychological examination and shows an overview of selected screening tests of cognition and possibilities of their use. In the second part a research is designed, which should verify the relationship between the level and the type of achieved education of the elderly, their career choice and the results of selected screening cognition tests. The goal of the research is to shine a light on the issue of not accounting for local aspects while using education bound norms in current elderly population in the Czech Republic. Practicable and evidence-based interventions to increase the effectiveness of doctor-patient communication
Zůnová, Anna ; Höschlová, Eva (advisor) ; Panenková, Erika (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to map important communication skills of physicians, point out the variables on the side of the patient, which they influence and find out possible interventions that contribute to the improvement of these skills. The communication skills of physicians are used in a specific relationship and type of contact. For this reason the first part of the thesis is devoted to describing this relationship and the two basic forms whitch it can acquire. The second part deals with the specifics of medical consultation, its phases and also the difference between anamnestic-diagnostic interview and therapeutic interview. The third part focuses on individual communication skills and also highlights empathic skills as key skills. Based on previous research this part of the thesis shows how the mastery of these skill proves beneficial not ony fot the patient and the physician but also for the entire healthcare system. The last part presents a research proposal, the aim of which is to clarify whether in acquiring the skills of acting and behaving empatheticly, the practical part of training is as important as the theoretical one Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
The Role of Social Networks Facebook in the Elderly's Feelings of Loneliness
Jiráčková, Radka ; Šivicová, Gabriela (advisor) ; Panenková, Erika (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the theme of loneliness in old age and social network site Facebook. It deals with the causes and impacts associated with perceived loneliness in seniors and offers various options for preventing or reducing this unpleasant feeling. Social networking site seems to be a way to reduce the perceived loneliness of the elderly. Their use can satisfy social needs and can serve as a platform for maintaining or strengthening social ties. To clarify this relationship, Facebook is used as a platform offering diverse possibilities of communication and social inclusion. The design of the research project outlines the experimental design of the research that would be carried out with those interested in practicing communication through Facebook. Both the experimental and control groups would be administered by SEPOS questionnaire measuring loneliness, both groups at the beginning of the three-month course and after the end. By finding a lower SEPOS score in the experimental group, after adjusting to the intervening variables, Facebook could be identified as one of the possible means of fighting the perceived loneliness of the elderly. At the same time, by demonstrating the multidimensionality of the proposed SEPOS loneliness questionnaire, the use of Facebook in the future could...
Body image and dissatifaction with own body with clinical population
Vopálková, Aneta ; Hrachovinová, Tamara (advisor) ; Panenková, Erika (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the phenomenon of negative body image, or dissatisfaction with its own body in the clinical population. The theoretical part contains knowledge about physical self-concept, focusing on the biological, psychological, socio- cultural factors that influence it significantly. The interference of these risk factors often causes dissatisfaction with your own body, which can cause a mental anorexia disorder that I have described in the next part of this work. Conclusion of the theoretical parts devotes some selected methods of measuring body self-concept. In the empirical part, research is proposed to map the differences in physical self-conception between men and women suffering from mental anorexia. It focuses on differences in personality traits, self-esteem, and frequency of social networking. Keywords: Physical self-conception, bodily discontent, negative body image, anorexia nervoza.

The first one includes selected aspects, which create the personality in the context of acting. The second chapter is the summary of existing studies about personality and acting. In the third one I try to find personal characteristics of few actors, based on their biographies. In the empirical part I suggest a research. The aim of the study would be finding a difference between personal profile of students of acting at the beginning and at the end of their educational process.
