Performance Assessment of the Selected Company according to the Model Start

The main topic of this bachelor thesis is a performance evaluation of a selected manufacturing company according to the model Start. First part deals with essential knowledge of the topic such as main definitions, models and evaluation methods. Follows the analysis including itroduction of the company, its situation, strenghts and weaknesses. I have prepared several suggestions grounded on the analysis that would provide improvements for the company and its development.

Validization of Early Memories of Warmth and Safeness Scale in Czech setting

Present thesis explores early childhood memories of warmth and safety in relation to self- compassion. The thesis aims to establish validity of the Early Memories of Warmth and Safeness Scale (EMWSS-CZ). Theorethical part reviews the importance of early childhood memories of warmth and safety and their impact on developing self-compassion. Furthermore, self-compassion is elaborated in a greater detail in relation to psychopathology and mental health problems. Next, the thesis presents original theories, especially the theory of attachment and other theoretical works associated with therapeutic work focused on self-compassion. Empirical part of the thesis reviews validation of the EMWSS-CZ scale. Data were collected quantitatively using a questionnaire battery consisting of EMWSS-CZ, CORE-OM and YPI- R2. The testing battery was administered online and the collected sample consists of N = 406 participants from a non-clinical population who are older than 18 years of age. Results show negative correlation between recent experiences of negative affect (CORE-OM) and unfulfilled emotional needs in childhood (YPI-R2). Moreover, the high relibility of EMWSS-CZ indicates strong psychometric properties suggesting EMWSS-CZ is fit for use in either research or clinical settings. Keywords Memories of Warmth and...

Legal Acts in the Name of an Entrepreneur

The thesis deals with an acting on behalf of legal entity. Its aim is not to produce a comprehensive elaboration on the subject matter but to focus on judicial decisions of the higher courts with an effort to fill in gaps in legislation and to clarify dubious parts of the legal text. Chapter One is introductory and defines basic institutes used in the thesis such as management of the company, acting on behalf of legal entity and decision-making. Chapter Two examines an acting on behalf of the corporation by its corporate agent, a set manner of acting, its limitation and consequences of a concurrence of the agents. The chapter briefly mentions an acting in the name of a company before its incorporation and some aspects of powers of a proctor. Chapter Three concentrates on a representation of a legal entity with focus on a substantive representation. In its beginning, there is a brief characterization of a statutory representation and a representation under the power of attorney. Subsequently, the chapter describes individual types of representation by - a chief executive of the structural unit of the legal entity (s. 13/3 of the Commercial Code), a person authorized to certain conduct (s. 15), other person currently present in business premises (s. 16). California Proposition 187 - The American Immigration Discussion in 1990's

Immigration - legal and illegal - has been an important issue throughout the United States history. One of the periods of high interest in immigration and related themes occurred during the 1990's, especially between years 1994 and 1996. The controversial Proposition 187 restricting the illegal immigrants' access to welfare benefits and state education passed in California in November 1994 was the first anti-immigrant measure of this period. The state of California became once again a ''trendmaker" in the immigration policy of the United States. Nevertheless, California is rather unique among the states of the Union with its substantially high share of foreign born population and great ethnic diversity. The goal of the thesis was to analyze the immigration discussion in California in 1990's on the example of Proposition 187 passed in 1994 in a referendum and evaluate the impact of the discussion on the federal legislative and the federal immigration debate. Social relationships and people with mild intellectual disabilities

1 Abstract The diploma thesis clarifies the specifics of establishing social relationships ofpeople with mild intellectual disabilities. The aim of the work is to understand the specifics of establishing social relationships for people with mild intellectual disabilities, to understand in depth how people with mild intellectual disabilities perceive the possibilities of gaining and maintaining social ties. The first part summarizes the findings from the study of available literature related to this topic. In the second part, using a qualitative research survey, which used the method of interviewing respondents with mild intellectual disabilities who live in sheltered housing, seeks answers to the questions that were asked at the beginning of the research survey. An e-mail interview with two sexual confidants working in the organization was used to supplement the information obtained from the respondents. Qualitative research was chosen due to the nature of the target group. The results of the work are based on analysis of the mentioned interviews with respondents and they are supplemented by information from the sexual confidants. Sustainable development of tourism in Dolní Morava destination

Topic: Sustainable development of tourism in the Dolní Morava destination Objectives: The main aim of the thesis is to warn about the negative impacts of tourism, based on an evaluation of the destination's present state of development. The conclusions of the thesis could contribute to the destination's future sustainable development. Methods: In the research part of this work, which has an empirical character, methods of data collection and methods of data analysis and interpretation were used. Two methods and specific techniques for collecting of primary data were used: qualitative questioning (semi- structured interview) and quantitative questioning (questionnaire). The method of content analysis was used for secondary data collection of and, together with statistical analysis, as a method of data analysis and interpretation. Results: Over the course of the last 15 years, Dolní Morava has become a dynamically developing popular tourist destination, renowned in the entire country, thanks mainly to its outstanding natural conditions, modern sports infrastructure including two skiing areas, and development of tourist activities. Mental Hygiene of Lecturer in Further Education

The thesis addresses mental hygiene of lecturers in further education and focuses on a workplace. Mental hygiene is established as a set of preventive methods that lead to a well- balanced mental state. Poor mental hygiene is linked to low-quality performance and demotivation. The aim of the thesis is to identify negative aspects of the lecturer's work regarding mental health as well as the mental health prevention methods used by practising lecturers. The first chapter explains a meaning of mental hygiene, describes a brief history of its development and its aims and methods. The following chapter is dedicated to the characteristics of helping professions and specific psychological stressors associated with them. The last theoretical chapter contains a theoretical background describing specific aspects of the lecturer's work. Last part of the thesis is a qualitative investigation that identifies negative factors affecting the mental health of practising lecturers and maps practical methods lectors used as a mental hygiene. Sports tourism in the Pardubice Region

Topic: Sports tourism in the Pardubice Region Objectives: The main aim of the thesis is to develop several general recommendations and own suggestions regarding sports tourism in the Pardubice Region, based on an evaluation of its overall potential. The conclusions of the thesis could increase the region's sport-tourism potential, rise the tourist traffic and contribute to the region's dynamic development. Methods: In this work, two separate methods of data collecting and one evaluation method were used. The principal method of data collecting was the examination of documents, especially official documents, archive data and virtual data. The second method consisted of leading semi-structured interviews with two experts in the field of tourism. The method for evaluating the potential was created and subsequently applied on the examined region. Results: The Pardubice Region is endowed with good natural potential for tourism development, which relies mainly on convenient natural prerequisites; however, the potential is not sufficiently developed. Sports tourism and recreational tourism prevails in the region, grounded in a stronger summer season. Optimization of relaxation regime in nursery school

This thesis is focused on relaxation regime in the life of pre-school kids in their family and in nursery school. In theoretical part child's needs and rights, evolution of motivation, emotionally-moral evolution and socialization of children in the given age group are defined. In the next part aims and conditions of contemporary nursery school its daily regime, rhythm and rituals are described. This work also deals with the work of a teacher and his competences. The following part is dedicated to contemporary family, its educational styles and current relationship between school and family. In the final part of the theoretical part sleep and relaxation and its importance as well as sleep malfunctions are described. Practical part is aimed at relaxation regime in families of the children and in nursery school. Through questionnaires state of relaxation regime in families and in two classes of nursery school was established. After implementing organizational and material suggestions in two classes of nursery school impact of these innovations on happiness of children and view of teachers of these changes was evaluated after six months.
