Diagnostic module for Single-Wire CAN bus
Jež, Michal ; Doseděl, Martin (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The basic properties of the CAN bus are analyzed in the bachelor's thesis. Furthermore, this work deals with the availability of circuits for the implementation of the CAN bus and the physical layer Single Wire CAN. Subsequently, the design of the diagnostic unit for the CAN bus is processed. It also deals with the design of firmware for the diagnostic module and a PC program for subsequent data analysis. Finally, the compatibility of the Single Wire CAN bus with the Low Speed CAN bus is tested.
Technology of thrust bearing steel cages production
Jež, Marek ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Rumíšek, Pavel (advisor)
JEŽ Marek: Technology of thrust bearing steel cages production . Diploma assert of daily magisteral´s studies, study programme – Industry. The branch manufactoring technology, 2 end form, level 2 – summer semester, study group 50 / 51, academical year 2007 / 2008. FSI of Brno University of Technology, department of forming and plastics, May 2008, 78 pages, 54 pictures, 6 supplements. The main theme of the Diploma Theses is the technology of production of tin cages for axial spherical-roller bearings. The given matter includes the production of tin cages for axial spherical-roller bearings – by traction, cutting, punching and calibration. For the chosen representative, i.e. bearing with marking 29 336 M I suggest the substitution of tin cage instead of the brass one. The component (cage) is made of the sheet iron 11 300 of 4 mm thickness, the basic semi product is the sheet panel with the size of 360 x 4 x 3000 mm. In solving the given matter, it is started from the fact that the current state of the cage is still under development. The aim of the Diploma Thesis is to choose the representative, suggest the appropriate technological progress, proposing the engineering design of functional parts of the tool for punching the holes/windows including the necessary calculations and workshop graphical documentation.
Entrance hall of multi-storey building in university area
Jež, Matěj ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The objective of the bachelor thesis is to design and verify sufficient resistance of load-bearing construction system and cladding made of structural glass. The object is located in university campus at the suburban area of the city of Ostrava, in district Ostrava Poruba. Floor plan is 8,5 x 12 m. The object is composed of six floors and its total height is 21 m. The object is connected to rest of the building. Main load-bearing system consists of frame made of composite steel and concrete rectangular columns and steel beams. Staircase steel beam and reinforced concrete slab are ensuring spatial rigidity. The object was designed according to currently valid standards using ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state verification.
Roofing of railway station "Brno - Main Station"
Jež, Matěj ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The objective of the master thesis is to design and verify sufficient resistance of load-bearing construction system of main station roofing in Brno. The plan shape is irregular, maximal plan shape dimensions are around 260 x 260 m. The roof structure consists of standardised grid. The structure has variable height, roof top edge is 25,060 m above terrain. In this paper, two variants of the structure are compared.

Analysis of Selected Macroeconomic Debt Relations of the Polish and Czech Economies in the Period of 2000-2010
Jež, Marek ; Petrášek, František (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Pavel (referee)
The thesis deals with the analysis of the development of the fast-paced debt growth of Polish and Czech economies in the years between 2000 and 2010. It focuses on the most debt-ridden sectors; those of households and government institutions. The thesis identifies the causes of the dynamic debt increase of these sectors in both economies. The outcome of the analysis is also the evaluation of the debt expansion influence on the growth of GDP. The evaluation is based on the available data from the databases of statistical offices and central banks. The cause behind the debt of households is a confluence of several factors both on the part of demand and offer. Apparently, the key factor is the relaxed monetary policy of the central bank. The cause of government institutions debt are predominantly the anually created state budget deficits, and thus maintained an expansive character of the fiscal policies. Debt therefore additionally stimulated the economies in what already was a period of growth.
Environmental tracers (18O, 3H, CFCs, SF6) exploitation for study of mean residence time and flow pattern of dripping water and karst springs (Moravian Karst)
Bruthans, J. ; Zeman, Ondřej ; Jež, M. ; Himmel, J. ; Buzek, F. ; Melková, J. ; Oster, H. ; Geršl, M.
Mean residence time and flow pattern was studied in unsaturated zone of Ochoz Cave in southern part of Moravian Karst by means of 18O in the years 2001 to 2003. The results of study showed relatively long residence time in the unsaturated zone (about 50% komponent with residence time exceeding one year). The proportion components coming from different reservoirs were computed from two components (soil/epikarst; meltwater). The results clearly indicate, that more than 50% of water (nearly 100% in 2003) in dripping waters was derived from soil/epikarst water, which originate from (late) summer precipitations (heavy 18O content)! It means that infiltrating snowmelt water was expelling (by piston flow effect) the summer water from soil and/or epikarst. Water from snowmelt was then lost by evapotranspiration in summer time. If this effect is common in Langer period, it can change composition of d18O in dripping waters and hence also in dripstones precipitating from these waters.
Effectiveness analysis of development subventions for the industrial zones on the example of industrial zone Nošovice
Jež, Marek ; Písař, Pavel (advisor) ; Vebrová, Ludmila (referee)
The bachelor thesis refers to industrial zones and related government supports of their development. The theoretical part introduces the determination and general features of the industrial zones in terms of positive and negative factors and evaluates, if there are benefits to concentrate companies at one place. The subjects and subvention programmes to support the industrial zone build up are mentioned in the further part of the thesis. The main part focuses on the strategic industrial zone (SIZ) Nošovice. There have been analyzed the expenses expended on the industrial zone build up and the consecutive impacts on the selected macroindexes. In the concluding chapter the evaluation of the SIZ Nošovice has been reported and the future subvention actions suggested.
