Deliberate Self-harm as a Specific Form of Addictive Behavior: A Concept of Non-substance Addiction Verification

Záměrné sebepoškozování představuje nutkavé jednání, které se vyskytuje zejména v období dospívání. Právě v tomto období se zvyšuje riziko experimentování a riskování v oblasti chování. Dospívající jedinec je tak vystaven mnoha rizikům a nebezpečím, kterým musí čelit a bojovat s nimi. Není-li na tyto okolnosti jedinec předem dostatečně připraven, může jim velmi snadno podlehnout. Sebepoškozování se pak pro dospívajícího často stává nástrojem na zvládání nebezpečných vlivů a nepříjemných pocitů. Přetrvávat může i několik let a sebepoškozování tak může v mnohých případech přerůst v jakousi formu "závislosti". Cílem práce je popsat fenomén záměrného sebepoškozování jako jednu ze specifických forem návykového chování, ověřit tak koncept nelátkové závislosti a poukázat na některé společné či podobné znaky se závislostmi látkovými.

Early Childhood Education and Care in Netherlands

The topic of this thesis is Early Childhood Education and Care in the Netherlands. It brings the insight in the institutions for children up to six years old in the Netherlands. The theoretical part summarizes basic information about the Netherlands together with the conditions of family policy. The main portion of the theoretical part is devoted to the description of the educational system and characteristics of the various types of institutions that provide early childhood education and care of pre-school children. In addition to the principle of the functioning of institutions, the thesis explains the legislative anchoring of pre-school education together with staffing of institutions. The final part of the theoretical chapter discusses current issues and problems of pre-school education in the Netherlands. In the empirical part of the thesis it presents case studies of four pre-school institutions in the Netherlands; each of them represents a particular type of institutional care for a pre- school child. Each institution studied in detail, in its structural and processual aspects. Support of language development for children with different mother tongues in kindergarten

ANOTATION The presented thesis The promotion of language development of children with a different mother tongue in kindergarten deals with the integration of children with different mother tongue into the nursery environment. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of three chapters, where the first chapter outlines the image of today's society with regard to multicultural education. The second chapter deals with the issue of communication, namely the development of children's speech, communication in kindergarten and the support of the language development of children with a different mother tongue. The third chapter focuses on the legislative conditions for education of children with a different mother tongue. For the practical part of the bachelor thesis, the author chose one of the qualitative methods - a case study specifically focused on observation, systematic work and subsequent evaluation of the individual educational plan created in order to integrate a foreign language child into a group of peers in the nursery.

The development of Czech-German cooperation in pre-schools: the road to its origins, the current situation and possible future

The proposed thesis 'The development of Czech-German cooperation in pre-schools: the road to its origins, the current situation and possible future' focuses primarily on the preschool education and its connection with the Czech-German cooperation. Initially, the goal is to briefly present the common Czech-German history and the key events that resulted in the cooperation between both countries. After a brief sidestep into history author introduces preschool education in Europe to achieve a better understanding of the context of this thesis. Education, especially the preschool one, is gaining importance and is currently a debated topic on multinational levels. This chapter should explain the importance of pre-school education for the mutual Czech-German cooperation. Within this chapter author will also introduce and compare the educational systems of both participating countries. The last and most extensive chapter introduces the activities of the Czech-German Youth Exchange Coordination Centre Tandem in detail and the insight into its activities form the main goal of this thesis.

Analysis of labour migration determinants of Czech citizens

This diploma work deals with free movement of workers within European Union. The first theoretic chapter define labour migration and its main segmentation. The second chapter discribes four significant theoretical approaches to labour migration depending on wages differentials, human capital supply, family and created migration nets. Every approach explains the causes and effects of labour migration by different way. The third chapter is devoted to the migration policy of EU. Within fourth chapter migration policy of the selected countries (Germany, Austria, Ireland, Great Britain) is studied. The core of the work draws on a questinnaire-based survey of the migration attitudes of high-skilled workers and students. In this fiftht chapter, which is the key one, The influence of migration determinants on labour migration of the Czech citizens towards EU members states is analyzed. In conclusions the knowledge acquired in writing diploma work is interpreted.

Češi na trhu práce EU

Bakalářská práce se zabývá volným pohybem pracovníků v rámci Evropské Unie, který se od roku 2004 s určitými omezeními týká i občanů České republiky. První teoretická část je obecně zaměřena na mezinárodní trh práce a model mezinárodní pracovní mobility Paula Krugmana, který vysvětluje příčiny a efekty pracovní migrace. Část této kapitoly je věnována diskriminaci na trhu práce. Druhá kapitola popisuje tzv. přechodná opatření, jenž jsou uplatňována některými členskými státy vůči českým občanům, a problémy volného pohybu pracovníků, které musela EU řešit. V třetí klíčové kapitole analyzuji sílu vlivu migračních determinantů na pracovní migraci českých občanů směrem do členských států s volným trhem práce. V závěru interpretuji poznatky, ke kterým jsem v průběhu práce dospěla.
