The Satisfaction of Teacher Education Students with Online Pedagogical Internships

The bachelor thesis deals with teacher students' satisfaction with online pedagogical internships. The factors that indicate the quality of online pedagogical practices and affect students' satisfaction with them are identified in the following paper. Firstly, it defines the teaching profession with emphasis on the practical professional preparation of teacher students and the development of their professional identity. It is followed by describing teacher training and its problems in the Czech educational context. Furthermore, the paper pays attention to the satisfaction of student teachers with pedagogical practices. It identifies aspects of pedagogical internships that indicate their perceived quality and influence students' satisfaction with them. Then the specifics of online pedagogical practices and synchronous online teaching are described in the mentioned context. The qualitative empirical study, which aims to identify the factors that affect student satisfaction with online teaching internships at the Faculty of Education, Charles University, is included.
Crisis Management of Organisations from the HR Perspective during the Coronavirus Pandemy

The bachelor thesis aims to map the crisis management of selected organizations from the point of view of personnel management during the coronavirus pandemic. The work first deals with the definition of the crisis in the organization, its origin and development, and its typologies. Furthermore, attention is paid to the issue of crisis management, specifically its historical development, its functions, and activities. The work also focuses on crisis management tools, which are crisis strategies, crisis plans, and crisis communication. Subsequently, space is devoted to defining human resource management to justify the role of the personnel department in the crisis team. Finally, the pandemic situation in the Czech Republic in the period from March 2020 to March 2021 is presented. Although organizations differ in size and scope, they all have in common that they have been forced to respond to a crisis situation and ensure the protection of their employees. HR managers can provide a relevant view of the organization's response, as the crisis has endangered not only the functioning of the organization but also the health of employees. Forms of Support Provided to Persons with Mental Illness to Be Employed

The bachelor thesis deals with forms of support for people with mental illness to get a job. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to analyze the offer of support to get a job of people with mental illness. The thesis focuses on mental illness and its classification. Furthermore, attention is paid to legislative relations to the employment of people at a disadvantage in the labor market and forms of support for people with mental illness to get a job in terms of legislation. Furthemore, the work deals with organizations providing forms of support to gain employment for people with mental illness and to supported employment. The empirical survey was focused on finding out how the organizations providing a service of supported emloyment implement this service and compare these procedures with the procedures described in the Summary Methodology of Supported Employment (Vitáková, 2005). The main point of departure for its theoretical section have been several studies treating current didactic methods; the empirical research rests on monitoring and comparison and contrasting of the theory posited by the Design Sprint method with its use in practice. First, the aims and formats of staff education are defined. Next, individual didactic methods are outlined. Eventu- ally, we look at how Design Sprint methods are adjusted in real-life scenarios, by monitoring staff education in an organisation. Participation of the Second Generation of Vietnamese in the Czech Republic in Education at Universities

The bachelor thesis deals with the participation of the second generation of Vietnamese in higher education and its broader context. First, it focuses on the history of Vietnamese migration to the Czech lands, their ethnic identity and values. It also deals with the differences between the values of the minority and the values of the majority society and especially the participation of second-generation Vietnamese in higher education. The aim of the work is to identify selected facts (language and cultural barriers, stereotypes) that they encounter during formal education at universities, and to find out what are the views of young adult Vietnamese - university students - on the perceived differences in their education compared to ordinary students, who are not members of a national minority. A qualitatively oriented empirical survey, which is conducted in the form of interviews, focuses on the analysis and interpretation of the motives of second-generation Vietnamese in the Czech Republic to participate in education, obstacles encountered in accessing education, and ways to overcome them. Mentoring of Pastors at Church of the Brethren

This thesis explores concept of mentoring among pastors of the Church of the Brethren denomination in the Czech republic. The text is divided into four chapters. Individual chapters first introduce the basic terminology, theoretical and historical definition of mentoring, participants, key principles and forms of mentoring. Subsequently, attention is focused on the analogues of mentoring in church history, on medieval spiritual accompaniment, on the role of the spiritual and finally on mentoring among preachers, pastors and vicars nowadays. The text also deals with the issue of roles and competencies of the mentor with a focus on the mentor of spiritual workers. Part of this thesis is a quantitative research survey, which examines the practice of mentoring among preachers and vicars of the Church of the Brethren, identifies competences of their mentors and also the key topics of mentoring meetings. 4 Abstract The bachelor thesis deals with the process of adaptation of Filipinos in organizations operating in the Czech Republic. This thesis aims to analyze problems in the process of adaptation of workers in organizations. The thesis is devoted to the whole adaptation process, different approaches to the adaptation process and its phases are described. The specifics of the Philippine working culture are also presented and compared with the working culture in the Czech Republic. Part of this work is an empirical investigation, which aims to identify problems of adaptation of Filipinos and followed with options for effective adaptation process. Selection of Volunteering Activities in Organizations

Corporate volunteering as part of corporate social responsibility is gaining in popularity. So far, research has focused on aspects of motivating corporate volunteers or the link between volunteering and social responsibility. The choice of a non-profit organization that the company will support within the framework of corporate volunteering and the activities that are offered to employees to participate are topics that have only been marginally affected by research. Appropriate cooperation with a non-profit organization and the offer of activities are, however, the key to effective volunteering. The research aim of the empirical survey was to find out how companies select non-profit organizations to support in corporate volunteering. The aim was also to identify corporate volunteering activities and communication channels from the perspective of companies and volunteers. The survey was conducted with two groups of respondents, with companies and volunteers. The questionnaire method was used for data collection. Digitalization is a topical issue that is dealt with intensity at present. The aim of the diploma thesis is to identify digital elements in a process of talent management in a company. The attention is focused on digitalization and agile management in companies including their influence on personnel activities modernisation, in which framework the conditions and specific process of talent management are considered, in particular identification, acquisition, development, retention and talent utilisation in a company. The thesis is based on foreign research in the field of talent management, digitalization and utilisation of new technologies in personnel management as well as on relevant surveys and concepts of talent management implemented by selected internal and foreign experts. Part of the thesis is an empirical research which is aimed at obtaining and analysing data about an implementation of digital elements in a process of talent identification in big companies from Prague and the Central Bohemia Region.
