Today organizations use sports events in suppor of public relations as way of communiaction to their target markets. The form of these events is gathering different directions. The aim of this work is to design a project representing sports event in support of PR. The project is built on the basis of theoretical methods derived from the literature devoted to the project and sports management and event management. Evaluation of the effectiveness of advertising expenses during sport broadcasts

Title: Evaluation of the effectiveness of advertising expenses during sport broadcasts Objectives: The main goal of this work is to compare the amount of money invested into the commercial advertisement during sport broadcasts at the ČT sport channel with viewer ratings. The used metric is a coefficient computed as a ratio between the viewer rating of the particular broadcast and the corresponding advertisement cost, normalized using Cost per Thousand method. Methods: Analysis of the secondary data provided by Czech Television and internet portal Mediaguru. Emphasis on utilization of internal secondary data for the evaluation of the efficiency of advertising investments into the specific sport broadcasts. Three chosen broadcasts are FIFA Worl Cup 2014, FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2015, and The Czech Extraliga 2013/2014. The effectivness is evaluated by method Cost per Thousand. Results: The comparison of financial investments efficiency with respect to attracting a thousand spectators for the specific sport event and pinpointing the most efficient event and more specifically the most efficient part of the event. Title: Sporting immigrants and their effect on sport growth and popularity in a culture: A case study in Czech basketball Keywords: Sport migration, globalization, figurational theory, basketball Statement of the Problem: This study will examine the influence that immigrant athletes have on attendance and youth development in the Czech basketball league. This study is a descriptive, non- experimental, longitudinal case study in the genre of globalization in sport. This study examines the use of immigrant athletes to build non-primary sport popularity at the micro level (team, club, entity) and macro level (league, federation and nation). Purpose of the Study: This study is being undertaken to evaluate the practice of using immigrant athletes in the Czech basketball league as a cornerstone of the club business plan and sport growth. The long-term growth of the sport both to be consumed and to be partaken needs to be examined in light of the globalization which is taking place. Title: Football club Bohemians 1905 Marketing Mix Analysis and Proposals for Its Improvement Targets: Analysis of individual elements of the marketing mix. Communication with the club fans and to determine their views on the current marketing mix. Then formulate proposals to improve the image and marketing activities of the club. Methods: The current marketing mix will be analyzed through case studies and SWOT analysis, the result of which will be strengths and weaknesses of the club. Another source of data will be an informal interview with the management of the club and a questionnaire that determines the attitudes and opinions of fans. To the collected information I will add my own knowledge. Then I will try to propose recommendations to improve marketing mix. Results: with these used methods will be developed proposals for the improvement of the marketing mix. Title: Comparison of selected minority sports in the Czech Republic from the player, spectator and management aspects Objective: The aim of this work is to analyze the current situation in American football, frisbee and lacrosse in Prague and make suggestions for future improvements. Methods: The applied methods included the study of literature, collection of information, questionnaire examining players motivation and SWOT analysis. The research was conducted through surveys among athletes doing this sports. Results: Research has shown that the best prospects are waiting for frisbee, which benefits from minimum requirements for equipment and space. American football and lacrosse will probably never become mass sports, but using the above suggestions can improve their current position. Title: Funding of sport in the Czech Republic with application to the cycling environment Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to analyze financial management of the Czech Cycling Federation followed with analysis of the gathered data, and revelation of its shortcomings along with a proposal of its operational improvements. Methods: Methods of Qualitative character were used in this thesis; methods of descriptive analysis and an interview. Descriptive analysis was used to evaluate the technical literature for this issue, the Ministry of education, youth and sports materials, and internal documents of the Czech Cycling Federation. The fundamental data was acquired through informal interviews and interviews from a predefined outline with the main officers of the Czech Cycling Federation. Results: The thesis describes the system of financing of sport, with a focus on cycling. It dissects the activity of the federation and redistribution of available funds. The last part contains a recommendation for creating a marketing department to help facilitate communication between sponsors, management of private funds and ensure the increasing popularity of the sport. Title: Management of sporting event - 6 Nations Objectives: Target of the thesis is brought and defines problems with organization sport action 6 Nations. Whole organization will be describe and next will be analyzed the problems, with which the organizers had the opportunity to meet. With help of selected theoretic method will be on the conception of the project the next year show, how prevent and eliminate the arising situation so as the negative repercussion was least. The most important chapter is propagation of the action and options, that this part was the best result. Methods: With help of descriptive case study and date analysis of case study will be description organization of whole action that will be analyzed. On a questionnaire and discussion will be shown problems with propagation and will be devise the methods of propagation so as the propagations was the most intensive and reach target groups. In conclusion is done generalization the obtained results and setting assumptions to successful organization of sport enterprise. Varsity Sports in Canada from the student-athlete's point of view

Title: Varsity sport in Canada in the perspective of foreign and domestic student- athletes Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to analyze the system of varsity sport in Canada, to identify its problematic areas from the perspective of student-athletes and to make suggestions for its improvements. Methods: In this thesis the method of descriptive analysis was used. The information on varsity sport in Canada was mainly collected by exploring the documents of the governing body for varsity sports, the Canadian University Sport. The second method used was an interview. This was used in order to get additional information on varsity sports and to get suggestions and ideas from student-athletes. Results: Several problematic areas in varsity sports in Canada were identified: athletic financial awards, funding of the teams, several eligibility rules (number of years of eligibility, academic requirements, athletes' age limit), non-Canadian student-athletes, limited number of varsity sports, and limited opportunities for the athletes to continue their sport after graduation.
