Sněhotová, Jiřina ; Šípek, Jiří (referee) ; Wagnerová, Irena (advisor)

Attention is devoted to general methodological principles of psychological assessments, their contribution to personnel practice focusing on recruitment process and the discussion about increasing efficiency of selection process less mentally demanding and responsible positions. The theoretical part is mainly dedicated to the method GPOP, which in its core is based on the Jung's theory of psychological types, which has stimulated development of the questionnaire MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), and the Five-factor personality theory. Combining two completely different approaches it comes into being an assessment able to interpret on the one side, the uniqueness of personality, and on the second side its resemblance to a certain type. In the practical part, the psychometric characteristics of the questionnaire completed by 524 selected respondents are analyzed and evaluated. Reliability of the global scales is estimated of Cronbach`s alpha interval 0.8 to 0.9. Correlation analysis and exploratory factor analysis clearly support the expected construct of GPOP. The norms are compiled for a specific population, and the presented notifications attend on...

Approach focused on person and psychotherapy of psychoses
Volfová, Pavla ; Šípek, Jiří (advisor) ; Junková, Vendula (referee)
Pharmacotherapy, Educational Therapy, Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, and other training methods are mentioned most frequently as optimum methods of comprehensive treatment of psychotic patients. In my thesis, I attempt to increase awareness of possible therapy options, and include another approach which has been applied in psychotherapy for many decades, which has been tested by research for its efficiency, but which is also met with scepticism whenever its application in psychotherapy of psychotic disorders is mentioned. In this theoretical account I present assets and limitations of Person Centered Therapy, and prepare grounds for future empirical research which would validate statements proposed in the present study.

Trymlová, Martina ; Köpplová, Barbara (advisor) ; Wolák, Radim (referee)
The subject of this historical analysis is a development of an ideological propaganda in the Socialist Czechoslovakia in the Eighties of the last century based upon the ideology of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia. The availability of the original documents from archives of the Czechoslovak Ministry of Commerce and its promotional agency Merkur are still limited, therefore I had to rely more on the oral testimonies of individuals who had worked for these institutions. The personal memoirs of those participants enriched the study in realm of interpersonal relations and the overall atmosphere of the era. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Are people more altruistic towards persons of the same sex?
Bartůněk, Martin ; Chytilová, Helena (advisor) ; Kadeřábková, Božena (referee)
This thesis deals with the differences in the degree of altruism between men and women, with varying degrees of information. In three rounds of the dictator game experiment, the dictators decided how to redistribute the money between themselves and the recipient. The differences in altruism among the sexes were already dealt with, for example in the works by Andreoni, Vesterlund (2001), Dufwenberg, Muren (2004) or Eckel, Grossman (1998), whose experiments served to inspire the creation of the experimentation in this work. However, the differences in behaviour of men and women in all the observed rounds proved to be statictically insignificant, in this work. The results of this work do not support the hypothesis of a higher degree of altruism in the situation when the dictator has the information about the sex of the recipient, compared to the situation where he does not have it. Male dictators, as well as female ones, behaved equally altruistically to female and male and anonymous recipients.
