The Evaluation of Risk of Suppliers
Peřinka, Zdeněk ; Doskočil, Radek (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
In the Master’s thesis I am deal with the proposal of sophisticated method for suppliers rating. The thesis analyses the supply environment of business company and characterizes the problems related to suppliers rating and choosing. The object of my Master’s thesis is the elaboration of the models for suppliers rating on the basis of fuzzy logic. These models should successfully solve the questions of suppliers rating as suitable method for minimizing of risk of suppliers.

Analysis of the state of Disaster Recovery Management in a particular company, analysis of incidents and suggestion of measures
Novák, Martin ; Bruckner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Žalčík, Hynek (referee)
This thesis focuses on the topics of Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recov-ery Management in the context of small and medium sized businesses which offer or use IT services in the cloud. The aim of this thesis is to carry out a theoretical research of BCM and DRM in the aforementioned context and to analyze situation in a specific company based on the results of the research. This includes analysis of specific incidents that hap-pened in the company, analysis of how the company reacts to the incidents and how are the incidents logged and reported. The analysis identifies weak spots in the company and their potentials of improvement. The most serious weak spot discovered is that BCM and DRM are not implemented in the company. In the last part this thesis suggests measures to im-prove the situation in the specific company. That includes both specifying general goals and procedures and also defining specific policies, plans and reaction schemes. Specifically those are politics handling the incidents categorization, warning and communication, inci-dent reporting and performing maintenance.

The formal relationship between employee and employer in accounting and taxation
Richtáriková, Paulína ; Müllerová, Libuše (advisor) ; Černý, Václav (referee)
This thesis is focused on the employer-employee relationship in accounting and taxation. It offers a general view on the process from formation of employment relationship to its termination. Income tax and social insurance represent the key areas establishing a wide variety of rights and obligations for both parties. The final part of the thesis uses a model situation to demonstrate an employment relationship.

Tax literacy among small businessmen of different nationalities
Tran, Thu Thao ; Pavel, Jan (advisor) ; Tepperová, Jana (referee)
This work is focused on tax literacy among small businessmen of czech and vietnamese origin. The main aim is to evaluate tax knowledge of small businessmen and find out on which aspects knowledge depends. Knowledge was rated on the basis of questionnaire, which was later evaluated. To solve this tax literacy issue, there was uttered a hypothesis, which was tested by test of independence. Conclusion of this test is, that businessmen knowledge depends on their nationality. Contribution of this work is determination of dependence between language skills and tax literacy.

Business Plan of Steakhouse K&K, Ltd
Rappová, Kateřina ; Pevná, Jana (advisor) ; Ezrová, Hana (referee)
The objective of the thesis is to create a business plan for starting a Steakhouse restau-rant with an offer of the best steaks and drinks. At first there will be theoretically expla-ined issues about business, startup and the estabilishment of a limited liability company. The next step si describe a business plan. In the base of survey thesis continues with practical treatment of business plan. There si solved the question about legal form of business, processing of founding budget and individualy parts of business plan including finanacial plan and financial analysis. At the and of the thesis is business plan evaluated and its results are summarized.

Gas Microsensors Based on Self-Organized 3D Metal-Oxide Nanofilms
Pytlíček, Zdeněk ; Husák, Miroslav (referee) ; Kolařík, Vladimír (referee) ; Prášek, Jan (advisor)
This dissertation concerns the development, fabrication and integration in a gas sensing microdevice of a novel 3-dimensional (3D) nanostructured metal-oxide semiconducting film that effectively merges the benefits of inorganic nanomaterials with the simplicity offered by non-lithographic electrochemistry-based preparation techniques. The film is synthesized via the porous-anodic-alumina-assisted anodizing of an Al/Nb metal bilayer sputter-deposited on a SiO2/Si substrate and is basically composed of a 200 nm thick NbO2 layer holding an array of upright-standing spatially separated Nb2O5 nanocolumns, being 50 nm wide, up to 900 nm long and of 8109 cm2 population density. The nanocolumns work as semiconducting nano-channels, whose resistivity is greatly impacted by the surface and interface reactions. Either Pt or Au patterned electrodes are prepared on the top of the nanocolumn array using an innovative sensor design realized by means of microfabrication technology or via a direct original point electrodeposition technique, followed by selective dissolution of the alumina overlayer. For gas-sensing tests the film is mounted on a standard TO-8 package using the wire-bonding technique. Electrical characterization of the 3D niobium-oxide nanofilm reveals asymmetric electron transport properties due to a Schottky barrier that forms at the Au/Nb2O5 or Pt/Nb2O5 interface. Effects of the active film morphology, structure and composition on the electrical and gas-sensing performance focusing on sensitivity, selectivity, detection limits and response/recovery rates are explored in experimental detection of hydrogen gas and ammonia. The fast and intensive response to H2 confirms the potential of the 3D niobium-oxide nanofilm as highly appropriate active layer for sensing application. A computer-aided microfluidics simulation of gas diffusion in the 3D nanofilm predicts a possibility to substantially improve the gas-sensing performance through the formation of a perforated top electrode, optimizing the film morphology, altering the crystal structure and by introducing certain innovations in the electrode design. Preliminary experiments show that a 3D nanofilm synthesized from an alternative Al/W metal bilayer is another promising candidate for advanced sensor applications. The techniques and materials employed in this work are advantageous for developing technically simple, cost-effective and environmentally friendly solutions for practical micro- and nanodevices, where the well-defined nano-channels for charge carriers and surface reactions may bring unprecedented benefits.

Housing financing in the Czech Republic
Kovářová, Markéta ; Kopecká, Lenka (advisor) ; Jitka, Jitka (referee)
The thesis solves possibilities of housing finance. The economic needs are explained on the basis of professional literary sources. The thesis also characterizes housing policy of the European Union, housing policy of the Czech Republic and present situation of real estate market. The practical part is devoted to common method of housing finance. It is about housing financing through a mortgage loan and a building savings. The comparison of offer of mortgage loan and building savings is performed for fictitious client. The best loan is recommended to the client on the basis on the results. The last part of the thesis contains necessary documents. The client is obliged to provide these documents to the bank.
