Predisposing factors of atopic eczema.
Kochová, Martina ; Kudláčková, Zděnka (referee) ; Jílek, Petr (advisor)
1 ABSTRACT The atopy is inherited descent displayed by increased reaction of the 1st degree which may develop in diseases such as astma, seasonal allergic catarrh rhinoconjuctivida, and atopic eczema. AE disiase is chronic or chromically recicivating xeroderma with high level of itching and also genetically conditioned. AE affects great amount of world's population and it is heavy burden for the patient, his family, and the whole society. The theses' goal, which is the pilot study, is to analyze the data, seemingly unconnected. The thesis is based upon the evaluation of the respondent's answers which focused on predisposed factors for atopic eczema. The questionnaires were spread in 150 pieces and at the end we worked with 98 of them which came back filled out. We divided our respondents by two aspects. First aspect was if respondents are people with allergy or eczema, and sekond aspect was if they are younger than 20 years old or older than 20 years. In our relatively small respondent sample, we were not able to prove higher prevalence of AE between young boys or girls. We proved that the nursing for at least 6 months helps to prevent the risk of the atopic underpass (with statistic significance p0,001). The presumptuous prophylactic influence of parasitic infection was not proved. Even children infected...

Rituals in the Hellenistic period
Nachtigal, Pavel ; Bednář, Miloš (referee) ; Jebavá, Jana (advisor)
Rituals in the Hellenistic period Diploma Work Objective: To give an survey about questions of rituals, mysteries in the Hellenistic period. The starting point of this DW lies within these hypotheses: 1. Presume, the rituals and mysteries in the Hellenistic period have had an effect on the senzitivity of an individual. 2. Presume, that the influence of Eastern philosophy had a mystic effect on the individual and kept the individual's mind away from brutal reality of his everyday life. (see The War). 3. Presume, that the oriental cults of god Mithra, Kybelé and Isis affected the perception of the Greeks and Romans. 4. Presume, that the architectonic style of the buildings, in which the rituals, mysteries were held, was specific and they were instrumental only for this purpose. (see Villa of the Mysteries in Pompeii - pic. 1-12). Methods: For this work I have used study of the available literature, researches, compilations, analyses, synthesis of essential ideas, comparison. The impetus for hypotheses of the DW resulted from the surveyed materials. Produces: DW proved thoughs about questions of the rituals and mysteries in Hellenistic period to be positive for the development of subjectivism, development of individualism, innovation of ancient world (the area of ancient Rome and ancient Greece) individual's...

4 ABSTRACT Thesis title: Physiological Load Imposed on the Ice-hockey Goalkeeper in a Match Thesis goals: - To describe the load imposed on the goalkeeper during ice-hockey matches - To compare the results of laboratory measurements with other studies - To describe the goalkeeper's load during the game within the defence third - To describe the goalkeeper's load during the game outside of the defence third - To describe the goalkeeper's load during the power play within the defence third Methods: The thesis presents a descriptive case study based on monitoring the heart rate of an ice-hockey goalkeeper during the match. The results were obtained through observations and a record of the goalkeeper's heart rate. The study was realized during three ice-hockey matches. Results: - The goalkeeper's heart rate was above the aerobic threshold - In comparison with other studies the laboratory test results were lower - For most of the game within the defence third the goalkeeper's heart rate was above the aerobic threshold - During the game outside of the defence third the goalkeeper's heart rate was mostly below the aerobic threshold - During the power play within the defence third the goalkeeper's heart rate was above the aerobic threshold Key terms: ice-hockey, goalkeeper, physiological load during the match,...

Hundred years of Czech and Moravian wine culture trough the journal "Wine horizont"
Kollárová, Klára ; Matějů, Martin (referee) ; Czumalo, Vladimír (advisor)
In my diploma work the ma in subject of interest is wine. Wine is certainly part of culture and so represents an excellent culturological problem. During my sommelier career I have noticed that wine is not only drink but can have very different meanings. It has influenced our culture, history, aesthetics and arts, religion and theology, economics and trade, habits and everyday life too. In this paper I study wine phenomenon through the journal ,Wine Horizon' which is the only wine magazine that constantly appeares in Czech and Moravian lands from 1907. Written form is also excellent material for culturological research. In my work I compared five different annual volumes of this journal with approx. 25 years gaps. It allowed me to compare what were the most discussed themes in each year, what were (if there were any) the common subjects and which were different ones. I have selected 12 cathegories of different aspects of wine (wine growing and cellaring, history of wine, wine abroad, wine laws, serving wine, wine and food and so on, women and wine) and went through the journal and searched for any comments about and compared notions about these in different volumes. The main idea was to find whether a journal writting about such ,culturological' subject is actually refering about it from different points of...

Trade mark law and the issue of parallel imports in Czech, EU and US law
Vávrová, Lenka ; Dobřichovský, Tomáš (advisor) ; Císařová, Zuzana (referee)
100 Parallel importation and trademark law in the Czech Republic, EU and USA Parallel imports are a non-counterfeit (genuine) goods, bearing a trademark, intended for sale in one country, but instead put on market without the consent of the trademark owner in another country. The price of parallelly imported good is actually lower than the price of the authorized good, due to several factors: currency exchange rates, laws, taxes, logistical expenditures etc. It is not only the price, but also other features of the merchandise, such as the appearance, required characteristics and customer safety measures that differ from the ones of the authorized goods. Such differences may damage the goodwill consumers associate with the trademark. Trademarks are protected dependently on national laws, therefore different countries address the issue differently. There is no international treaty that would solve the problem of parallel importation on international level. No consent has ever been unanimously reached. The issue of parallel importation is closely connected to the doctrine of exhaustion. Various countries apply national exhaustion whereas others apply international/global one. European Union developed specific type of regional exhaustion which means that once a trademark owner sells a good bearing the mark...

(De)regulation of the taxiservice
Páchová, Markéta ; Munzi, Tomáš (advisor) ; Zemplinerová, Alena (referee)
This thesis is focused on taxi service, which is one of the most regulated services in a modern society. State intervenes into this branch not only by barriers of entry but also by price regulation. I try to take a think if the state intervention is the best solution for its effective function. As the theoretical ground of my investigation I used the general theories of regulation and findings of foreign studies that deal with this market. As the specific example I used the market of taxi service in Prague, which has not been enjoying a good reputation. I try to map its situation and judge the regulation imposed on it. I target the price regulation which has been established since 1991. I sketch the main impacts of price deregulation and the other solution of contemporary situation.

Food Supply of Düsseldorf Citizens and Supply Policy in the British Zone 1945-1948

Development of concept of death

Static Analysis of Textile Structures
Husáriková, Natália ; Gratza, Roman (referee) ; Kytýr, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with the design and calculation of membrane structure for shelter placed above selected ground plan. The hyperbolic paraboloid was chosen as most optimal shape. Subsequently, three different sub-studies were conducted. In the first study, influence of mesh density on a finite element calculation model was studied. Second study deal with the effect of the geometry changes of the computational model. In the third study, deformations and tensions of membrane structure in relation to material formation calculation model was studied. For the static solution of those selected variant, structural analysis software RFEM and RF-FORM-FINDING add-on module was used. Geometric nonlinear solution was applied in the calculation.
