Assets
Beránková, Jana ; Zoulík, František (advisor) ; Smolík, Petr (referee)
Thesis, theme: Assets Author: Jana Beránková English Summary Assets in the insolvency proceedings is the subject of the submitted thesis. Assets is one of the fundamental legal institutions in insolvency proceeding, which forms the basis of the solution of the bankruptcy. Thanks to the precise definition of assets, accurately defined inventory of assets, and its breakdown (in relation to the debtor, creditors, and other persons), there is a fundamental and qualitative change as opposed to the legislation of the law on bankruptcy and settlement. This significant change occurred on the day of January the first 2008, when the Czech law of insolvency entered a new phase. The new insolvency act was passed, and at the same time the law on bankruptcy and settlement was invalidated. The new legislation does not solve bankruptcy only of the bankruptcy and composition, it uses the general concept of defaults that suggests this is a completely different solution concept. The insolvency area is understood much more comprehensively. The bankruptcy act use not the term "bankruptcy", but the assets. It's completely new term and new defininition of contents, not just the change of the name. In the original treatment the term bankruptcy applies onl y to the bankruptcy proceedings. On the contrary, the bankruptcy act defines...

Liability for defects by the sale of goods in a shop
HAČKOVÁ, Kateřina
The aim of this thesis was to describe and analyze legislation liability of the seller for defects in the sale of goods in a shop and describe and analyze problems in the application of reclaims. Legislation has been described and analyzed in the theoretical part. In the practical part was a questionnaire survey which was done on the part of buyers and sellers. It was found that the buyer does not know what their rights are and what obligations, has sellers. More than half of the buyers had a problem naming the CR law, which deals with liability for defective goods. To improve this situation, it was proposed to create newsletters with advice how to proceed in the case rejected the reclaim and which institution to contact. It would be necessary to define precisely the term ?goods damaged by normal use of product? which is very common and controversial. The seller knows the laws better than the buyer, but their knowledge is not perfect. The proposed measures are consistent control compliance with laws and increase penalties for any violation. Czech seller works quite well, mainly because the reclaims are recognized as legitimate.

Studies of NK cell receptors and other proteins using recombinant expression and mass spectrometry
Kavan, Daniel ; Bezouška, Karel (advisor) ; Tučková, Ludmila (referee) ; Řehulka, Pavel (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Science Department of Biochemistry Studies of NK cell receptors and other proteins using recombinant expressions and mass spectrometry Summary of Ph. D. Thesis Daniel Kavan Supervisor: Prof. RNDr. Karel Bezouška, DSc. Prague 2010 Daniel Kavan Introduction Introduction NK cells and CD69 as one of their surface receptors Natural killer cells (NK cells) are the subpopulation of large granular lymfocytes, which lacks the surface receptors typical for B cells or T cells. They are characterized by the presence of NKp46 and NKp30 [Moretta L. et. al. 2002], however. They were named natural killers according to their function in the organism, as they do not need any activation and nevertheless they are able to eliminate abnormal (i. e. infected or transformed) cells from the tissue [Kiessling R. et. al. 1975]. This function is dependent on scanning the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules of ambient cells. The resulting action (killing or not killing the target cell) is dependent on the balance of activating and inhibiting signals mediated by the NK cell surface receptors and forwarded to the specific signaling pathway [Raulet D. H. et. al. 2001]. Specificity of NK cells is not based only on one type of antigen receptor as it is in case of T and B cells,...

Bel canto - ideal aim in technique preparation of teachers
Sklenářová, Terezie ; Volavá, Iva (referee) ; Havlíček, Michael (advisor)
The notion bel canto is frequently used among singers and singing masters but nobody knows how exactly this concept should be specified. The students then are confused and consequently do not achieve such good results as they could. This fact inspired me for the topic of my master thesis, which is to briefly conclude, what has already been written about bel canto and put it into the context with the vocal training of teachers to be. This master thesis forms a complex work. There is a chapter about the vocal physiology, because every student should have at least basic knowledge about this topic. Because not all the students learn or understand Italian I added the chapter about the basic principles of the Italian pronunciation based on the Metodo practico di canto italiano by N. Vaccai. At the close of the theoretical part I introduced three significant names connected with bel canto, that are Niccolô Vaccai, Mathilde Marchesi a Lilli Lehmann. The vocal training has the only aim, that is the beauty of the voice and precise intonation. There are as many ways leading to this aim as many singing masters exist. In the practical part of this thesis I therefore tried to give several examples of possible ways to the above mentioned aim. I described several different ways how the vocal training of the teachers to be...

The concern Koh-i-noor Hardtmuth in the Protectorate economy 1939-1942
BOHDÁLEK, David
This bachelor´s thesis focuses on the wartime development of the České Budějovice Koh-i-noor concern during the years 1939-1942. The first part of the thesis takes a compilatory approach, and it describes the economic development of the German Empire and of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia up until the end of 1942 based on available literary sources. The second part of the thesis then deals with the situation inside of the Hardtmut´s concern. Among its basic information sources there are annual reports, operation reports, minutes of pencil company meetings, preserved correspondence, and last but not least, person sources related to the owners and employees of the concern. It is based on these sources that the overall strategy of the concern during the wartime period is analyzed, with a main focus on the transition of exportation markets and on accommodating production to the needs of the war. This development is then analyzed and compared to situations in other České Budějovice pencil companies, namely to the situation in the National Corporation and the situation in the national enterprise named Grafo. In this analysis and comparison lies one of the main contributions of this paper.

The use of UML diagrams in practice
Rejnková, Petra ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Mackovič, Ondřej (referee)
Unified modelling language UML is a result of a long-time effort to create a unified graphical notation that could be used during object-oriented development of information systems. The main aim of this thesis is to characterize UML 2.0 diagrams and show the examples of their usage in earliest phases of a development of a specific application. Next aim is to unite recommendations concerning diagram modelling and last but not least describe the main features and the development of UML and name changes that occurred in UML 2.0 compared to UML 1.x. The aims of this thesis were reached by studying available theoretical findings and practical recommendations and by consulting the modelled application with their developers and users. The diagrams were created using a trial version of Enterprise Architect 7.1. The contribution of the thesis is in the practical creation of UML diagrams based on previous consultations with the developers and the users of the application and summary of the most important information and best practices, which should be followed. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part concentrates on the most important features of UML, its development and comparison of UML 1.x to UML 2.0. The second part describes UML 2.0 diagrams in detail. Each chapter of this part characterizes a chosen diagram and includes recommendations, which should be followed so that the diagram is understandable not only to its creator, but to all people who come into contact with it. Afterwards, the mentioned facts and recommendations are used to create diagrams describing a specific application.

Synthesis of pyrazino[2,3-b]pyrazines - azaphthalocyanine precursors
Šebl, René ; Zimčík, Petr (advisor) ; Holas, Ondřej (referee)
CHARLES UNIVERSITY IN PRAGUE FACULTY OF PHARMACY IN HRADEC KRÁLOVÉ DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY AND DRUG CONTROL Name: René Šebl Supervisor: Doc. PharmDr. Petr Zimčík,Ph.D Title of the thesis: Synthesis of pyrazino[2,3-b]pyrazines - azaphthalocyanine precursors The topic of my thesis was synthesis of azaphtalocyanines containing pyrazinopyrazine units. These molecules have been published only in few publication till now. Since these molecules are extended by one pyrazine nucleuson each unit, their extended conjugation leads to an increased absorption in the higher regions of the absorption spectrum. In the first step, I focused on the synthesis of precursors for subsequent cyclotetramerization. Starting compound for the preparation of various precursors was 6,7- dichloropyrazino [2,3-b] pyrazine-2,3-dicarbonitrile. It underwent nucleophilic substitution leading to products substituted with various substiuents attached via heteroatoms such as oxygen or nitrogen. Another option is the condensation of 5,6-diaminopyrazine-2,3- dicarbonitrile with appropriate diketon. This attempt did not lead to the successful preparation of the precursor. The precursors were subsequently cyclotetramerized to corresponding macrocycles. We succeeded only with one precursor...

Minor placenames in the area of the communities of Vysoký Chlumec, Hrabří, Hradec and Oříkov - a contribution to the analysis of regional anoiconymic systems
Hamplová, Martina ; Harvalík, Milan (advisor) ; Rejzek, Jiří (referee)
The main aim of the work is to analyse the minor place-names found in the territory of four villages in the region of Central Bohemia. As a consequence of the interdisciplinary nature of this issue, the introductory chapters deal with the geography, geomorphology, history and dialects ofthe region. The next section provides an overview ofthe theoretical conclusions which have so far been made in the study of Czech anoiconyms. The main part ofthe work focuses on the analysis ofthe anoiconyms. Special attention is given to their language formation and the connection with the regional dialect.
