Life with the perithoneal cathetr

This bachelor thesis deals with life quality of patient with peritoneal catheter. Several indicators for life quality evaluation were used: Family environment, possibility to be employed, travelling, hobbies, and own definition of the life quality. It is necessary to consider the patient's life before starting the dialysis treatmentand his personality The emphasis of this thesis is based upon survey which is based on qualitative analysis of semi-structured interviews.The explored sample consisted of 6 diseased patients under PD program of various age, sex and duration of dialysis treatment.Empiric chapter is focused on problematic of life acceptance with peritoneal catheter in the area of disease cause, dialysation treatment, catheter manipulation, PD progression, and life quality evaluation. The life is limited also in the area of employment and travelling possibilities, by reason of the everyday exchanges.. The thesis also consists of exactly re-written talks with individual patients.

The alternative stationary phases in HPLC analysis of drugs

Rigorous thesis The Alternative HPLC Phases for Analysis of Pharmaceuticals Mgr. Petra Holásková Charles Univerzity in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Control The solubility of silica gel at high pH is the cause for developing alternative HPLC columns based on metal oxides, such as titanium oxide, aluminium oxide, and zirconium oxide. Advantages of these columns are particularly high chemical stability and separation efficiency. In our project, zirconia-based stationary phases were tested in qualitative and quantitative analysis of doxazosine and its five impurities. Polystyrene-coated zirconia was chosen because of its low retention and appropriate selectivity. The separation was done within 16 min. Subsequently, chromatographic conditions were validated.

Contribution of Romany language and pedagogic assistants to Romany pupils of primary schools

Diploma thesis discusses the contribution of the Romani language and the importance of teacher's assistants for Roma pupils in primary schools. It characterizes the Romani language, its origins, dialects and grammar, describes speech education of Roma children in the family, bilingualism of Roma. Diploma thesis points to the language barrier of Roma pupils and a conceptual world of pupils entering first grade of primary school. It suggests how to use the Roma language to strengthen the confidence of pupils and provides appropriate literature for Roma pupils in primary schools. Diploma thesis also writes about the development features an assistant teacher at an elementary school, his responsibilities and the criteria to be fulfilled on his education. The practical part of the work tracks how Roma pupils at primary school on Havlíčkově náměstí in Czech Republic dominated Romani language and how do they relate to it. Substitution Treatment: Subutex

Bachelor's thesis named "Substitution treatment - Subutex" introduces a reader with possible solution of opioid addiction theme, where one of the possible treatments is the replacement with Subutex preparation. Thesis is divided into seven sections. First one deals with the drug policy in the Czech Republic. Next part informs the reader with harm reduction approach in general that includes substitution treatment as well. Thesis presents goals, types and providers of the substitution treatments as well as two lately prescribed medicaments in the Czech Republic: Subutex and Suboxone. After eight years from its registration in 2000 Subutex has turned from being the solution to the problem of opiates addiction. As a result of it a new remedy to deal with these problems has been introduced this January. It bears name Suboxone. The last section introduces into users experience. The thesis looks at the issue from the users' point of view using qualitative inquiry method among clients treated with Subutex. This inquiry tries to learn about clients' experience with the session in general, conditions and with rules imposed by the attending physician, together with its breaching if there is any. JIROUSKOVA, Klara. Humane attitude to the dying patient in nursing. Bachelor's work The topic, I've chosen for my bachelor's work is dealing with problems in humane attitude of nursing staff to the dying patient. The study is dedicated to those, who are daily faced to death on their wards, and feel themselves not to be familiar with appropriate approach to the dying patient- mostly to the medical staff in hospitals. This bachelor's work is composed of two parts - theoretical and empirical. In the first, theoretic part, I've focused on the process of dying, with it's stages, on the patient's reactions to the threatening death, and also on the mental changes, dying man have to go through in this process. The study is concerning the specific needs of terminally ill patients, as well as, the possibilities of psychological help. Particular attention is paid to the euthanasia, to the palliative and hospice care. The study is trying to clarify, that euthanasia, with respect to the palliative and hospice care, can not be regarded as a "dignified death". Study deals also with the "burn out" syndrome that usually affects nursing staff taking care mostly of critically ill patients, pointing out its causes, process, and possible prevention. The submited diplome work aimes is directed towards the sense of project methods in full filment of in advance given school aimes and philosophy the primary school Klíček. The work is decided in 8 parts. The teoretical part deals with internal questions of schools changes, transformation of teaching processes and learning. Thurse deals with aimes of primary education. It outlines the informations of projected metod these history, differenciations, planing and goals. The practical part of diplome work was dedicated to the qualitative research carried out at the primary school Klíček. The several realized projects have been introduce concerning both the whole school and also the classes, the whole year, few days and one day projects with the aim to show, how the school has been fullfiled it's goals and it's philosophy. A Qualitative Study of Strategy Creation in a Sports Organization

This thesis discusses strategic management in sport. There are two main parts in the thesis. First part includes theory about strategic management, strategic management in sport and strategic planning process. In the second part there is a research which analyzes Czech hanball club HC Dukla Prague. The research is qualitive and done by personal interviews with managers, players and spectators of the club. The main purpose of the thesis is to find out how the club works with the strategy and what are the differences between theory of strategy and real actions of the club. In the end there are some recommendations for the club how to improve their strategic planning process.

This Diplomas thesis is focused on critical thinking. The main goal of this thesis is to define methods and tools leading to improvement of critical thinking in decision making and problem solving. The thesis is divided into five parts. First part is about characteristic of current world and importance of critical thinking in it. Second part defines fundamental errors in judgment and provides methods that could prevent these errors to occur. Third part is about fallacious arguments and philosophical concepts which define to which problems use of critical thinking is appropriate. These concepts could also help to simplify our decision making. Fourth part describes methods to enhance our cognitive abilities and rational thinking. Fifth part summarizes methods and tools leading to improvement of critical thinking.
