Customer Satisfaction Research in the Private Healthcare Facility

The thesis is focused on specifics of quality and customer satisfaction in health care. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the status of this issue in the literature; it compares theoretical approaches to quality that are generally applied and approaches that are recommended by authors for the health care sector. This part uses the Czech and foreign literature. The practical part of the thesis provides an overview of a current state of health care facilities, presents characteristics of the society where the research was conducted and its products. A satisfaction customer research is presented on a concrete example of a private eye care facility. Outcomes of the research are analyzed. Data obtained by the analysis are synthesized, the conclusion is made and further actions are suggested.

Accounting as a source of information for budget of locall government

This thesis focuses on municipal governments and their management. At first, it defines the status of municipalities in the public sector. It further describes municipal budget, the way it is compiled and how it is treated by the law. The second part deals with the management of municipalities, revenues and their division into tax, non-tax and transfers and expenditures of municipalities and their divisions. The following chapter includes bookkeeping treatment of local governments in the legislation of the Czech Republic and selected specific issues of bookkeeping. In the practical part of the thesis are these cases shown on examples of financial statements and budget of the city Slatiňany. The aim of this work is to find the interdependence of financial statements and budget.

Development of the company's share price of Philip Morris CR, a.s. on the stock exchange

The aim of the thesis is based on statistical methods to predict the evolution of the share price of company Philip Morris CR, Inc. and subsequent determining the period of investment return, which was made during the reporting period for companies trading on the Prague Stock Exchange. The author first defines the position of the capital market, defines used tools within the market and divides the capital market into type of securities business and into the type of the opportunities to participate in the market and into the type of organized character. For the analyze shares are identified market participants and are listed investment tools. Finally are formulated types of exchanges, clarified ITS functions and author defines The Public Market in the Czech Republic In the subsequent part of the thesis is executed fundamental and technical analysis, forecast of the shares of Philip Morris and calculating return of investment using macroeconomic ratios, indicators of sectoral analysis, the dividend discount model, profitable models, trend indicators and oscillators, multiple linear regression and profitability investments. EU merger and and dominating position policy: Forming of Visegrad countries banking sectors by cross-border mergers and acquisitions

An unprecedented process of financial consolidation has taken place in the European Banking Sector over the past 20 years, which in the Visegrad countries was combined with economic transformation. As such, analysis of mergers and acquisitions is made with a view to the importace of the recent economic transformation and scope for further economic development and the Thesis is introduced by an analysis of the banking transformation in the Visegrad countries. Afterwards follows a theoretical part describing and analysing European legislation concerning banking mergers and acquisitions, incentives for them, factors, that support and hamper them, and the synergy following banking consolidation and its impact for supervisory bodies. Finally, building on the abovemetioned theoretical knowledge and premises, we apply them to the economic and banking environment of the Visegrad countries, i.e. we analyse the impact of the European cross-border mergers and acquisitions law on structural indicators of the banking sectors in the Visegrad countries.

Tax aspects of insolvency proceedings

124 English abstract This doctoral thesis is apart from the obligatory introduction and conclusion divided into 6 chapters. The thesis focuses the tax aspects of the insolvency proceedings from both the procedural and substantive perspective. From the procedural point of view, the consequences of bankruptcy and ongoing insolvency proceedings are dealt with. Further the topic of recovery of tax debts is discussed. From substantive law areas, the thesis focuses on the taxes that are relevant generally for all taxpayer. The sector specific taxes such as excise duty and environmental taxes are excluded from this thesis. The brief definition of key terms of insolvency proceedings, including the categorization of receivables, is followed by the description of insolvency proceedings and individual methods of resolving bankruptcy. The following four chapters cover the tax aspects of insolvency proceedings itself. The first of them focuses on the procedural aspects. Firstly, the general consequences of a bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings is addressed. Further, the thesis deals with the deadline for extraordinary submission of tax returns that are closely connected to the bankruptcy. 62 8 RESUME The subject of the thesis is Financial Management of a Foundation. A foundation is a legal entity that supports charitable activities in order to serve the common good. It is created with endowments - money given by individuals or corporations. The foundation endowment is the basis element of a foundation. Foundations are non-for-profit organizations and as such they build an important part of a non-for-profit sector in the Czech Republic. They play a significant role in the civil society. They provide their help and support in all areas of human live. Because of their charitable purpose and transparent financial management they are supported by a lot of individuals and corporations. Their philanthropy activities are focused on areas in which state's support or individual's help are not provided or are not sufficient. The objective of the thesis is not to work up an economic or accounting analysis of the financial management of a foundation but to focus on financial management of a foundation in context of a legal and tax regulation. General Project for Private Kindergardens

Title: General Project for Private Kindergardens Objectives: The primary aim of this diploma thesis is a survey of quality in organization of physical activities at the private kindergardens in Liberec. The secondary aim is to create a general framework for a specific kindergarden incorporated into the Czech Republic Idex of Kindergardens. Methods: This work combines direct, indirect and document methods; namely observing, dialogues, subject analysis and analysis of a secondary pedagogical school curriculum, which is a basis for theoretical and then consecutively for practical starting points of the work. The ascertained data are processed quantitatively. Results: Launching out into the market sector of private kindergardens in Liberec is not difficult. The quality of the physical activities offer shows an average up to below- average level but they keep a leading position in number of children per one teacher. Furthemore, there was found a lack in conducting children within physical activities in the public kindergardens in Liberec. The Participants of the Drug Prevention in Prague 7

The main aim of the diploma thesis is to find how the drug prevention is realised in the Prague 7 city district by researching the key players, resulting in getting the responses to the following questions : who are the key players of this realization and which role si played by the civic organizations. The additional aims are to learn if the key players have the documents decisive for the mentioned realization and which are the possbilities of the financial sources to support the provided services, especially in the civic sector. Another partial aim is to generalize the data from the research, so that they can be used also out of the Prague 7 city district and to formulate the recommendations for improving the situation. Firstly the thesis briefly introduces the activities and the rank of the key players, that carry out the drug prevention in Prague 7: the school psychologist, drug preventionist and the civic sector organizations. This paper deals with a comparison of branch offices' position in the field of high-tech industry in the Czech Republic and the USA on the example of HEWLETT-PACKARD, Ltd. The paper includes the description of an innovative environment for high-tech entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic and the USA and the comparison of the specific branches' position on the markets of those countries. Thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The first part embraces the information about the significance of the high-tech technology, the definition of high-tech sector and high-tech entrepreneurship and the characteristics of the innovative environment in the selected countries. The practical part includes the comparison of the branches' position of Hewlett-Packard on the Czech and the U.S. markets and analysis which is based on the conclusion from the comparison. Effective Promotion and Public Relations in Non-profit Sector

Diploma thesis deals with non-profit organizations with regard to their effective presentation, promotion and public relations. Theoretical part generally characterizes non-profit organizations and non-profit sector in the Czech Republic. First part outlines brief historical context, legal regulations in the Czech Republic, their operation, classification and fundraising. Second part describes public relations in non-profit sector, instruments of this communication and how to make this communication as effective as possible. Empirical part demonstrates these theoretical findings on examples of two particular non-profit organizations operating in the sphere of health care and social-service work. These two non-profit organizations are being compared in reference to public relations and public awareness about these organizations activity. Emphasis is laid not only on communication methods but especially on ethic aspect of this communication. Diploma thesis objective is to evaluate position of two non-profit organizations in terms of promotion and public relations. Conclusion summarizes ascertained facts.
